- Today we are taking Tiny the TYM 2515H and were digging out some steep slopes of on the old pond. Let's try out this backhoe out in some sandy soil next to the pond. The capabilities of the TYM 2515H are astonishing.
Best 25HP tractors are sold by TYM. Not sure about the larger ones I've never used one.

Awesome tractor!
@amrrma4796 thank you AMR
I think so!
I purchased a LS mt 125 last summer, wish i would of held out for the 2515!
@@amrrma4796 I did look at the LS MT225HE. They are nice machines and priced good. The lift capacity is what turned me away from them. Overall it looks like LS makes a nice tractor.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead Glad to see your channel growing best of luck.
That loader capacity is unreal!
I've been very happy with this machine
Howdy and welcome Mike the real Okie 🤪
Mr Todd good morning
Morning Todd!
Tiny does great!
Thank you Mr Ted
Great work!
Thank you Mr Matt
Awesome demo with TINY. It always feels sketchy working on the side of a hill to me. That soil looks like perfect tractor dirt👍👍
@bikesbullets9080 thank you. This machine has been doing great for loader work. My 50hp ford doesn't move dirt this well. Thanks for being here bikesbullets
It impresses me too Mike. Seems like a great machine.
Thank you Mr Kenny
Wow Mike it's so awesome...your channel has exploded! Love it!!! Well deserved 💪
@@lorettaandjasonoffgrid thank you. It's been a big shock
Tiny did a great job! Best, -- J. Andre. / Old Iron Acres
Thanks J
Your operating skills great
Thanks Mr Kenny. Slowly getting better
That backhoe attachment looks like a necessary add on
Hey John. It Has come in very useful
I want that machine! Are I happy that you didn’t go Kioti and why?
Hey Mr Joe. A year ago, I would of swore up and down that I was buying a Koti 2620. I really really like those machines. I went to my local Kioti dealer a couple times talking to them about their machines.
Previous to this I did look at most of the other larger name brand machines. Even though I was sold on the 2620 I kept my mind open. I started looking into some of the other brands that were showing their capacities of the machines.
TYM really started drawing my interest more and more. I went to the TYM dealer a couple times and looked over the 2515's and other models.
It came down to price and capacity's for me. Just because I knew what I would be using the machine for.
The TYM 2515h had 400 pound more lift capacity than the Kioti 2620. 2200# vs 1800#
The TYM had auto throttle and cruise as a standard feature. Those where upgrades I was looking at doing on the 2620. Those upgrades my dealer told me it would be about another $1000 on the Kioti.
In the end with all the upgrades I did to the TYM I was going to have to do the same upgrades plus some on the 2620. It was going to cost more essentially with a little less capacity.
Upgrades I was going to have to do on the Kioti 2620
Floor Mat ------------------------------Standard on TYM
Tool Box--------------------------------Standard on TYM
Linked Peddle "TYM calls this Auto throttle"----------------------Standard on TYM
Cruise Control-----------------------Standard on TYM
Loaded Tires
True 3rd Function
Backhoe.
So several of the upgrades where already done on the TYM that I wanted.
Starting price was close on both tractors but the TYM was a little cheaper.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomesteadgotcha! A few years back I was sold on the Kioti too but was quickly sold on the Branson machines at the time. I almost pulled the trigger. I cannot believe a floor Matt is optional. Wow.
Lol yes to add a floor mat to the kioti is like another $100-150
I'm torn between the 2515H and 474H....about a $5k difference. I am not farming & pulling a lot of implements, but have 11 acres with lot of trees to cut & move to burn piles, gravel drives to maintain, brush hogging. Is it worth the upgrade in HP and other options (rear 3 point leveling & telescoping, 3rd function joystick location, dual pump hydraulics, etc.) Also what are your thoughts on 474H vs 4815H? Love your content thanks for sharing!
Hi Arron. I think both the 474 and the 4815's are fantastic machines.
The 2515 I'm a fan of as well, mainly for its size. I needed a smaller side machine for getting into some tighter areas around here, but I've been surprised with its capabilities for being 25hp
More features are always nice. I added several to the 2515.
You just have to think what are you going to be using it for mainly.
I would also consider that if you don't have other tractors that are larger, then buy a size that is bigger than you need. Ull be glad you did later
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead Thanks for the advice!
You can do most smaller jobs w a bigger tractor but can't do bigger jobs w small tractor.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomesteadgood advice!
Yours did not come with power steering cylinder guards? My older branson 2515h has steel guards which I am thankful for, a lot of potential for something to get kicked up in that area.
@Jtwizzle no sir it does not. Are yours on the upper part of the axle like this one?
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead Yes, I believe they are in same location. Odd for them to change that.
@@Jtwizzle That is odd. I would prefer a guard on things like that if they offered it.
