Thanks Gary. Breathing life into an older tune. I may have gone a little crazy with the echo and my voice has developed since then.. but I think it still works :)
thanks Rose. Yes.. I don't know why this song ended up as two different alternate versions.. but it did.. almost two different songs really .. oh well - they are out there now :)
Thanks Ile - no, you never comment or disturb me too much. Always glad to hear from you, a fan from the start. Let's hope your party is not too far away.. I think I'm at about 4.4K.... :)
Good morning 🌅, John , 🏔️, just as I thought sounds excellent now listening to it on my transmission line loudspeaker cabinets, Very good soundstage , yesterday I was listening to a opera singer who was performing with the famous cellist, This give you some idea of my likes in music, Heavy metal the blues all the way through to classical, Even Viking war music, I hope you have a great week, look forward to more listening, from France
I'm glad it sounded good on your speakers.. I mix into headphones mainly.. I have quite a few good pairs that really enable me to hear all the frequencies. I do try to aim for soundstaage and depth... as well as a warm sound.. with high end slightly rolled off. I also have wide musical tastes. It's a lot more fun that way. take care.
@@johnhaydock1577 I haven’t used headphones for years, though I have used them in my workshop, Just to cover the noise I’m making with my machines, I used to use them a lot when I was back home in my teenage, many many many years ago, I had built a pair of single driver, cabinets, Even to the state, I can’t remember where I got the drivers from, but they were quite big, 12 inches in diameter, and they had some serious base as you can imagine, And as for headphones nowadays, they seem to be astronomical price, luckily I live by myself, in a remote area, My neighbours are far enough away to never have any problems, plus they enjoy the music I listen to as well, And there is a big age difference me being an old dude, and then been only in there late 20s, I have just been watching something on TH-cam. I can’t member the name who built loudspeaker cabinets in Italy., you are talking about a serious amount of money, they are made out of billet aluminium and carbon fibre, I do fancy having a go at some point building a pair of horn speakers, I could make these on my wood lathe, Good luck with your music career, look forward to listening to some more of your music, 🎧, from France
Excellent song, was thinking … man, I wish John would provide the lyrics. Then I looked further in the description, and… poof, wish granted! Thanks for sharing.
John, I discover your channel and I hear a guitar, a melody and a voice. What I hear is very good. Your song is magnificent and the video that accompanies it is very good. Bravo and thank you for this beautiful moment of song and guitar. My regards from France. Like 145

@@johnhaydock1577 Hey, I am just starting to play, and dude, I listen to you for hours! You took a trip down to Florida and back, so I know you are tried lol
Another banger for sure John. Shared out n gonna request it on 15th Bends live stream this Thursday eve. He gives credit where creditcdu n helping promote independent artists. The Real Deal
Thanks very much Doug. I am glad you liked the song and think you'd like to put it forward on a live stream. My songs are copyrighted though to John Haydock Music, through tunecore. Not sure if that effects things. All the best. john
@johnhaydock1577 Thank you John, appreciate youbsharing great music with us. I'm not sure if maybe you can reach out to 15 about the copyright concerns, I will certainly pass this on as well ok. As we all know it's in the details, lol. I know a big concern is copyright right strikes and I wouldn't want to put anyone in a position of having issues either way. Thanks again love ur music, 1st song I heard I'm like man that's Dire Straits the modern version, lol. Alot more to it than that as I listen to more n more of your tracks. Keep doing what you do
It's okay... I don't have copyright concerns..it's just my music is copyrighted so folks should know. I guess most folks music is who sell it through things like tunecore or distro kid. It happens as part of the release process. So my music should be treated tgat way. thanks for the compliments. I appreciate it. 😀
The lyrics as always is the mess of nonconfidence and hesitation. Right wish may not bring result. And changed voice and way of singing just confirm that.
@@johnhaydock1577 No negative from me. The lyrics is really bluesy: not simple and plain. Just in this song the voice and way of singing appeared (for me) non-habitual and non-accustommed in comparison to others. Though it doesn't mean worser. I wish you further lucky creations.
After 4years .. this song still fresh as it was.. beautiful song forever 😊👍

You are right, this really has a Neville Brothers feel. Great lyrics (as usual), and smooth blusey rhythm. Thanks John.

The echo is cool John, like the vid. They say Tony Iommi is the master of riffs....I believe they are mistaken. Another great song.
