    Hi viewers, it's story time!
    In this video, I talked about the the list of things I travelled with to the UK from Nigeria. It's very important to pack the right things and in the right way when traveling abroad.

    For me, I'll say carry as much as your luggage allowance permits or most importantly, pack what will be sufficient for few weeks to at least a month before you get settled in.

      @@blessingjames5349 😀 that's serious...if your check in luggage can carry it, you can. I know of Ghanaians who brought their mortal and pestle but I don't how they packaged it.

      Yes I did, with small padlocks. Even if not all, but your luggage that you'll check in. Don't forget to keep the keys very close by too.😊

      Hello, do you mean point of entry into the UK?
      If yes, I wasn't asked any question, I only presented my international passport which had my visa stamp and my flight ticket all through the journey.

      Hi, I can't really remember how much because I bought 4 at a go, so it was discounted. But no single one less than 6,000 naira if I remember well. That was 2022 though.

    I heard you have to blend egusi .is it compulsory to blend pls

      No it's not compulsory. It's just to make things easier for you before you settle down, and probably get a good blender. You can blend some that'll serve you for a while, and then keep some that you can blend later on.

    Is the weightless bag the same as Ghana must go bag, if not, pls i want know the weightless bag and where to buy it in Lagos

      Hello, no it's not the same as Ghana must go bag.... it's stronger and consist of 3 layers, it also has wheels. At the end of my video, I showed a picture of what it looks like.
      I bought mine from Oshodi, you can get it from those big markets like Lagos, Idumota and the rest. From people selling traveling bags, just show them a picture.

      Yes in total that's what I carried.

      No dear, my school bag was considered as my backpack.
      So I had two bags that were 23kg each, 1 hand luggage (about 7-8kg) and the back pack.

      They don't weigh backpack....they should be able to overlook 23.30kg, mine was slightly above 23 as well and they allowed me.

      Hi, I don't know how the newly designed Ghana must go bags look like, but I've never heard of restriction on the kind of bag you can carry, as long as it's not weighing beyond your luggage allowance per bag.

    Hi can you tell me how exactly you packed the food stuff? Was it cooked or dried? And also after double wrapping it did you put it in the suitcase with your clothes?
    I am travelling with 2 kids to lagos, i need to pack food they like. Especially for the younger one, lastly were you allowed to bring snacks like biscuits, crisps inside your backpack in the plane?

      Hi. All my foodstuffs were raw, only the fish was smoked dry.
      Like I mentioned in the video, I had two bags, one for my clothes and one for my foodstuffs. But because I didn't want one to weigh more than the other, I evenly spread them so they don't weigh beyond my luggage allowance.
      I double wrapped them in Ziploc and arranged then inside the bag below, so they didn't smell out.
      I didn't take snacks with me to board because I forgot to buy. But I think you can, if they're in their original packings, especially as a mother with children. I hope this answer helps, if you still have any question please ask.

I know my kids will not eat the food provided during the flight in the plane, i am looking for ideas on how to feed them as the flight leaves london 11 & get to lagos 6pm. I wonder if little pots of yogurt can pass in my hand luggage? Any suggestion will greatly help me. As it’s our 1st time flying to lagos.thx

      @@nadinelubs Hi, from people I asked who have traveled with children, they said you can carry food, snacks, water and drinks. Any other drink not permitted.

      After booking your flight ticket, the details should be in your flight itinerary, and you can as well browse online for the airline's luggage allowance and policy.

      No, it's counted as a contraband. People who take it have to go through the stress of hiding it. You can get a good oil to buy in some African shops.
