- In this video we're going to focus on the sizing and try-on of the Hermès Chypre sandals. I know there's been a handful of size guides circulating online, so here is my experience with these. Hopefully this will help some of you when figuring out what size you might be!

What I'm wearing:

TTS - 5.5W or 35.5 in most shoes
Dior slides - 35.5
Chanel ballet flats - 35.5 (fits tight width wise)
Hermès day sneakers - 36 (fits comfortably with socks, a half size down would have been tight width wise). I don't have a pair of oran sandals so I won't be able to compare those.
Birkenstocks - 36 (room to spare length wise)

I just purchased online and then I realized I purchased mens. I immediately contacted them and was told the size I purchased was men’s 10 which is a women’s 8.5 and the only difference is the width. I’m a 8.5 in women and have narrow feet. I was given the option to cancel the order but I declined. At least I’ll get to try them on and moving forward I’ll have some idea of how the sizing works. At least I can return them if they don’t work out. Thanks for sharing your review. Very helpful. 🙏🏾💕

Re the pronunciation, it’s the French word for Cyprus pronounced, [SheepR]. As anglophones I guess we can get away with calling them Cyprus sandals 😅

I haven’t had any issues with mine! I’ve heard it being uncomfortable for some because of the straps rubbing. If that’s they case I think people have stuck cushion strips to the shoe to soften the edges a bit.
Awesome review Tiff. Thank you. I just scored a chypre in naturel. Bought a 36 and 36.5. And im still torn lol your review helps me a lot. Both fits me well but the 36.5 has more room as of width tried walking in them around the house and have not experience any flopping or what not. So i think im gonna keep the 36.5. But when i tried walking with 36 i can say its really a perfect fit thats the reason i am torn. Do i want a little room or do i want a perfect fit? 😅 im 36.5 in most shoes and sandals though.
Hmm maybe also consider if your feet swell in the warmer months? If they do then having slightly more room could be a good thing especially if you plan on being in them for long periods. Otherwise the perfect fit sounds just perfect 😄

Hi Quyen, nope I haven’t thought to use a treatment on them tbh. Could probably spray a stain and water repellent though!
Where can you find the size on the sandal?
Do you feel they get dirty quickly ? Xxx are they easy to clean if so ?
They don’t get dirty easily based on my experience but if they did they probably wouldn’t be too difficult to clean
How much it increases the height

On Chanel flats the best size is the same for you?
My ideal size in Chanel flats are 35.5C (wide) but I had to break into the 35.5 regular to make them work and the 36 is a little loose for me.
Did you get them on Hermes website or the boutique?
Boutique but a friend was able to score on the website as well so I was able to compare them :) I’ve also seen them occasionally drop online randomly over the past couple months.
