- 2020 gives me 90's trend vibes so I got a new haircut.
The ones who follow me on my instagram (@theawakingofstyle) must have noticed that I love 90's "long" hair and I'm growing it from a year ago.
Today I wanted to share with you my new haircut and how I got it done!

Yeah, a lot of haircutters probably have no idea how to handle this type of hair style tbh.
Dude it’s ve been getting layered haircuts for years and I always run into hairstylists that can’t cut my hair right. It’s a struggle out here.
I love the fact this appears on our recommendations when nobody is going out for a haircut and we have three month long hair

you cant have long hair like this in an office setting. Also its a pain in the asss to style and take care of every morning. we prefer low maintenance Cristiano Renaldo - easy to care - kind of hairstyles.

@@BlackStrawberry79 very obviously has been wet down, and combed through to look that way. He barely has a wave to it when he first walks in and that's only because it's so long and he's probably styled it that way.

@@GoneBatty idkkk it looks kinda to me like hes got a very slight wave when its being combed and cut, ive got pin straight hair and its really obvious when someones got slight wavy hair (basically because it always looks 10x better)

This is a very nice short to medium length hairstyle and the shortest I ever cut mine. Good to see classic lengthier slick hairstyles on TH-cam. There are a bit too many lined up undercut hairstyle videos and this is a welcome change from that.

Don't feel bad, no one is perfect. I got jawline fillers to get a more defined and perfect jaw.
Funny thing is that in the 80s/90s, guys were getting this haircut for $5.95 @ the mall. It didn't look so refined, but that was the point.

I have very similar hair. It's wavy, especially at the back and at my forelock also a bit. I have the same amount of temple recession but other than that everything is thick and even the length of my hair is similar right now. But I think I will make it shorter again.

A ver, es que es muy relativo que me digas que te has estado dejando crecer por 5-6 meses porque no es lo mismo 6 meses después de raparte al 0 o 6 meses si ya lo tenías medio largo sabes? Déjatelo hasta que tú veas que está suficiente largo como para que cuando te vayas a hacer el corte y te saquen un poco no se te vuelva a quedar muy corto. Lo mejor para que el estilista te entienda es que enseñes una foto. Saludos de España!

Me too, you just gotta give it time, when I grew mine out it was just going into an afro, but eventually it got heavier and started growing down. It took about a year and a half to get where I wanted.

If you have some volume in it, its okay (you can use some product like matte paste or smth) and ifyou wont like straightness of your hair, just go to sleep with wet hair and do a man bun, in the morning they shiuld be at least bit wavy :)

my hair is about this long, but I am going for a mullet haircut :)
Basically, don't go to barbers if you want anything other than a short hairstyle. The trick is to find a hair stylist for men/mens salon/unisex salon
