Hi there. Based on my experience, CISSP is quite advanced and assumes you have solid IT and security knowledge. If you're new to IT or cybersecurity, I'd recommend starting with Security+ or CEH first. Which certification should I begin with...CEH or Security+...I've been told that Security+ is better in terms of starting jobs...can you suggest me which one should I go for?
Hi there, Based on my experience, if you're just starting out, CompTIA Security+ might be the better choice. On the other hand, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) is more specialized. It focuses on penetration testing and hacking techniques, which is great if you're interested in ethical hacking, but it’s usually recommended after you have some basic knowledge.
Hey Prerna, great question! Honestly, it depends on your career goals. CISSP holds a lot of value for senior or management roles, while OSCP and GPEN are highly respected for technical, hands-on roles. If you’re just starting out, Security+ is probably your best. Hi, In my opinion, OSCP is very hands-on and can be tough if you don’t have practical experience. It’s possible to take it after CEH, but I’d suggest gaining some real-world experience or at least practicing extensively in labs first. We cover a lot of these topics on the channel, so feel free to explore more videos, and also check out the Edureka blogs for more insights on OSCP and other certifications.
Hi there, If you're just starting out, I recommend CompTIA Security+. For more in-depth information and guidance, be sure to check out our other cybersecurity videos on this channel and visit the Edureka blogs for more details on cybersecurity certifications!
Hi, Honestly, it depends on your career goals. Based on my experience, CISSP holds a lot of value if you're aiming for management or senior-level roles.
