This is kinda insulting towards all the players and the coaching staff saying that this transformation was made by one men alone. I'm not taking anything from Shaun but come on... if there is one men to credit It's the head coach first but yeah he is french so you're not gonna do that I guess.

toujours aussi bons joueurs ces anglais, évidemment c'est S.Edward qui a révolutionné le rugby français, Galtier, Labit, Ibanez et consors n'ont rien à faire la dedans....

I like Edwards influence on this French team, but the main reason of this resurgence is the Galthié-Edwards-Ibanez trio. As head coach, Galthié is concentrated on the tactics and the new spirit he wants to install in the team.... when Ibanez is the perfect man to motivate and communicate with the captains/leaders... the same Ibanez who asked Galthié to recruit his Wasps coach to strengthen France discipline and defense. It's a coaching machine. So these 2 minutes analysis is a bit the usual brit bullshit ;)

Yes he's having plenty of impact but don't undermine the head coach who's simply picking the right team and winning combinations. Even the players themselves need credit, it's a young team, in their first year of a rebuild with many new/young players. This team will grow, for me the defence has become a strong point of their game while their attack is as good as ever. But it's the discipline that still isn't where you want it, it's better than last year, but brain explosions still happen

Well said. Galthie has done well and he appointed Edwards.

They are too inexperienced for most of them. I think we need to let them be for the next year and not expect too much from them so they can try and learn. Galthié is a wonderful coach, very smart. I'm so glad France is finally coming back !

No he hasn’t yet, but he will. France are enjoying a surge in success largely because they’ve got several generations of excellent U20 teams.

France defense is really not their new strength. With the defense of England, Wales Ireland or Scotland, they would have won the vi nations this year.

It's not their strength, but it might no longer be their weakness.

Wales defence is like turnstiles this year, ireland not much better.

France's defense is bad, stop saying it's thanks to Shaun Edwards
