  • We are fortunate enough to have met Jeoffrey, a Bay Area Angler who knows about our local lakes and is willing to share some of his tips in catching big trout. Amusingly, he doesn't eat fish. An Anglers Lifestyle Moment.

LOL...Rule number one - The net should be out and ready BEFORE the fish is hooked. :-)

Don’t feel bad bro - I went trout fishing down here in SoCal this morning at Lake Skinner in Temecula, CA and got skunked. Not even a bite..Powerbait eggs and dough. Nothing worked! Thx for another great video.

Do you fish for bass there too? I've hiked chabot lots of times but never fished there yet. Just started fishing after not going since I was a kid. I want to try my luck there with the bass.

Yes, there's bass there. Try real worms, they will hit it hard on a drop shot rig.

Hi ninja my advice for u that when u use bait make sure u use smaller treble hook size 16 and size 6 mono it works for me specially when hooking them the chance of getting them or setting up the hook is high. it works for me good . It might work to u try it :)and never lose hope every day is different day thnks for watching and fish on. .. . 😁

Yeah i was waiting on that too? 🤔 all it probably is the shape of the powerbait. I remember the first time i went there i caught my 2nd PB 10.00lbs on the dot back in 2014 then the last time i went i got skunked. They don't stock it like they did back in the day tho.
