Usually I can’t read nonfiction, being tied to reality has a tendency to really dry out descriptions, but this really makes the world come alive in a way so few nonfiction pieces manage.

Frankly I prefer the dry humor of the Ford owner's manuals more to my liking. I do enjoy the Honda series of books, but I think we can all agree, that the Mercedes series take themselves way too seriously.
I personally think that the vw series is quite underrated but I also understand people not enjoying its religious undertones.
The Kia series is a personal favorite of mine. With the newer editions l think people have been picking it up more, but nothing really beats the classic feel of the originals in the series like “Sorento” and “Soul”
Personally I like the Chevy manual because of the adventures you can picture in your head like with the Wild West with the Silverado book series or my all time favorite the rags to riches story of the impala
I have to weigh in for the Toyota sagas; especially the classics like the Corolla. I find each edition of that series awash with nostalgia and the whimsy of childhood. Although, now that I'm older, I find that I anticipate the Tacoma titles (outdoor adventure genre) with great yearning every year.

Uncle E, it's this kinda stuff that helps me find peace after a horrible day at work. I can lay back, listen to something whimsical and light hearted as I battle insomnia and my many minor physical torments. all cleaned up and sinking into the sheets you keep my mind from wandering to darker places, away from withdrawals, and focused on the now just enough to where I don't feel bad if I fall asleep mid video.
I'll never be able to truly repay you for this incredible feat and service, but I always make sure to pay the debts I can't forward. Extend a hand like you, and be a shoulder to lean on for those who'd otherwise never have it. Thanks for keeping me rested the whole way.

I feel like the 2012 edition was the last really good one they wrote, after 2012 they really went downhill with the manuals. I forced my way through the 2013th edition hoping it would get better but it sadly didn't, haven't even bothered looking at 2014th edition
Check out the prequel! 2011 Honda Civic sedan owners manual. It's much better then that of even the 2012 one! There's less fancy words and much easier to read on the go!

Great book review, gotta say that this book should be considered a classic. The follow up books are a bit too modern for my taste but the earlier once really hit the spot, especially this one.

0:57 I completely agree. As a matter of fact, I think I've come up with the perfect revised alphabet. This alphabet will take some letters away, and add some new ones. The reason it would add new ones is for specific sounds like Ch and Th. This alphabet would look as such: A B D E F G H I J K L M N O P R S T U V W Y Z (New letter for ch) (New letter for th) we don't need C because it makes two letters sounds that already exist, S and K. We don't need q because it mixes two letters sounds to make one sound, K and W. And we don't need X because it also mixes two letters sounds to make a sound, K and X.
I also greatly insist that we phonetically spell. In case you don't know what that means I'll give you a brief description. We spell things how they should be spelled. Some examples: Funeticly, phonetically. Prhaps, perhaps. Fotow, photo. Catupilr, caterpillar. Letrs, letters. Tow, toe. Sicoligy, psychology. Eksist, exist. Siens, science.
Finally. I've been waiting so long to know the user guide to a Honda Civic.

Toyota has released some truly amazing manuals. I've heard all their manuals still hold up against all the other manuals, especially the older ones. You can't beat them. Honda is a close second though

Not exactly. English comes from (West) Germanic and has heavy influences from Latin, French, and Greek. C as /s/ comes from the French, not the Latin.

The very alphabet of English, is based on the Latin alphabet. The Latin alphabet did not have “G” “U” “W” or “J”. But “c” was either hard, like a “k” or pronounced as “G”. Also “V” was used as “U” which is why “W” is called “double u”
Regardless, English IS based in both Germanic, and Latin.
French is based Latin as it was spoken in Gaul.
