When I think of God’s existence it has to do with God being self-existent. Such a being must be pure existence and thus infinitely perfect because of existing in a boundless situation. Now if God is eternal then he must be necessary because it cannot be imagined of any possible situation or reality in which God does not exist, he wouldn’t exist by chance. Does a self-existent being exist? Well it would seem yes because if things exist there are only two ways in which they exist. They are either self-existent (eternal) or they are cause to exist by something eternal. Some things exist so at least one of those things must be eternal. Therefore God exists.
