Why don't you use mono? Just for more abrasion resistance. I only use mono for stray lining and it's been working wonders for me. But definitely good video man

Thanks, mono has too much stretch as I prefer to use non offset recurve hooks black magic KLT as only ever lip hook and get a better fight and you need braid to set the hooks!

Hi mark just wondering was that spot the 4th mussel farm up on the left hand side and you turn into the sound? I been trying to catch a sounds snapper for ages but still no luck but watching your vid will hopefully help me 10 fold, Cheers

Mark Cotton ah awesome and was this in December 2018? I have a wee 5 meter osprey so I try to go when it’s calm as apparently the noise scares them, one other question is the snapper still in the Tasman bay? As I’m dying to catch a snapper as never have yet appreciate the advice cheers

Man hate to c u lose fish but dont think ur drag was locked down i just locked down my drag on my 4k stella with 20lb mono and could barley pull any line out. Your gonna make me sell my 4k if u keep losing fish lol

Was 20 lb braid so locking it up would just snap the braid easy you can see midway in Kohan trying to pull line off the reel but don't help, they on the farm as soon as you get any tension on gutted
