I feel like I'm not able to do GS justice yet, so I'll hold off the weapon for now. It's very matchup heavy so I'd need to learn all my openings for the multiple monsters
please do a short guide on DPS rotations for insect glaive🙏🏻 i feel like no one actually knows what’s optimal, everyone just says “stay grounded bla bla airborne combos are useless bla bla”
I'm not an expert on the weapon by any means, but at least from my observation and experience IG tends to follow a sort of decison tree. Yeah you open with your DT for le big damage but from there depending on things like positioning and what the monster is doing you either recall kinsect for another DT + kinsect drill, go directly into another DT, finish the string with a tornado slash, or disengage. You can also opt to go for tornado slash rotations on downed monsters That being said yeah avoid using the jumping forward slash thats a garbage move, jumping slash is good for building up mounts but mounts tend to be a dps loss since it takes so long to finish and ig doesnt really need it unless you want to force down a flying monster thats significantly worse to hit while its flying but even then

Damn dude i miss this insect glaive, now in wilds feels really slow and not that good
I havent seen anything wilds yet as far as weapon performance goes and I skipped the beta, I'll probably form my opinion once the full game releases
