I think it’s so important (specially for us women) to try and not change when in positions of leadership. I feel society sometimes might see candidness, empathy and emotion as weak traits but it is exactly what makes us (in my opinion) better leaders than many men. Congrats Chloe you’re crashing it!

And that you didn't have an opportunity to tour the campus the first day, so you did it right before the flight. BTW did you consider recording your talk yourself? That way you'd have been able to share it with the Unichlos. I'm weird but I LOVE watching talks given in classrooms - something about them is often more interesting than a fully edited TH-cam video on the same topic. Maybe it's the atmosphere and room's energy & live reactions to what you're saying.

In any case, sometimes I forget just how clueless I was about life and career when I was a college student, and whenever I talk in front of college students or interview them I have to remind myself to tone the corporate jargon waaay down. I'm sure they appreciate the candidness!
