The devious Jester Marx makes his mark... it's about damn time.
You even got the paint and Twin Solar Flare attacks in somehow.
I really fucking adore how he's in "normal" form on the ground and "winged" form in the air.
something about what the wings add to his overall silhouette is like.
ig it communicates to me what moves he has access to a LOT better than the average character.
i really gotta try this guy out. bc I feel like there is SOMETHING to be said about what this visually communicates that is really, really unique amongst 2d fighter characters and beneficial to (at least my own) understanding of what's going on in-game.

It matches him as a playable character in Kirby Star Allies, where he takes the wings out only when you float -- the moves involving the jester ball also come from there, too!
i think we call agree that this characters combos are probably one the scariest things,that black hole to multi Arrows was atrocious and it felt personal towards himself 💀
Funny enough, Marx would've been my next choice for a Kirby rep in Smash Bros. And even kicking his ball was an attack I was thinking he could do too.

Hell yeah. I always figured if someone tried to make Marx they’d probably have to tone him back a decent bit, but this seems perfect. Definitely giving him a try. Great work.

Marx is one of the best Kirby characters, period. About time he got his own mod.
I knew exactly what was going on, and half of my responses were still "*oh no*". This'll be one hell of a custom character to deal with.
This is incredible. The spritework is amazing!! You've all done an awesome job with this character, I adore the winged form and the paint attack.

1:27 the inclusion of this attack is neat because, as far as I know, this attack originates from his boss appearance in Smash Ultimate

Correct, that and the black eye attack (BAir) both originate (or at least first appeared in) Smash Ultimate! Super Star and its remake was of course the main inspiration, but we pulled moves from all of his main appearances which includes Smash, Star Allies, etc!

The mod is great.
I just want to let you know there's a glitch that's not letting me choose curtain costumes. 11 and 12 are often missing without input, and others go missing after using them (had this issue with both 1 and 2).
If you could be fix it, then that would be great.
About that alt bug there's sadly nothing we can do, this is a common bug with Rivals itself. It usually fixes itself, but aside from that all you can do is report it to the Rivals developers themselves.
That said though, glad you like Marx!
