Thank you for the great video. You seem such a lovely couple. We got our Eriba Puck 6 years ago and its the best thing we ever bought. In a small van like ours you learn to live outside most of the time and its good for the heart and soul. Breakfast outside in the sun and the cooler weather. Sitting out at night. Its what the “great outdoors” is all about, or you may as well stay at home. Best wishes from Rod & Julie. X

Hi J Marie, we work normal 9-5 jobs Joni as technician and sara as accountant. Dogs have used to be alone during our workdays, while we were living in a apartment they were alone for mayube 10 hours because of the commute, but nowdays only 8 hours.
We usually try to spend nights somewhere between each others works with good public transport. Sara takes a bus/train and i drive the van to my workplace.
We have lots of plans and dreams, timetable is still open when we are able to make the next step. Of course its all about money.

Hey guys, have you thought about doing some upgrades to your van. For instance I know you can buy external tanks for the ducato and get this. You can add a heating element to the tank so it will never freeze during winter. Just some thoughts for you to think about. Enjoy the day, stay well.
We have the heating element that you are talking, on the grey water tank, but its not sufficient in "Real" winter. I think its meant to be used only in central Europe where the temperature might go little below zero, but not when its -10 or more.
It has been very hot here in Canada this summer and very cold last winter so hopefully this winter will be nicer.
We had the same in here. Last winter was one of the most coldest in Helsinki. Well this summer made all the new record highs of average temperatures, it was amazing how it didnt even rain during the summer at all.
To be honest it doesn't matter what anyone thinks about you living in a van, its your life so your rules, plus the van life is the best life...Iv been full time for nearly 4yrs and dont regret one second of it....

For me it seems the winters are hardest for van life. Maybe there is a language difference but in English I’d call it “living in a camper van” and not say “living in a car”. It’s becoming more common I think.
Hi Sara, is that a tattoo of a velociraptor on your back? I’ve never seen anyone with a dinosaur tattoo... tattoos seem to be popular again and girls seem to be getting tattoos more and more which kinda all look the same, nothing interesting... but I’ve never seen anyone with a dinosaur tattoo, that’s very unique and that’s a big tattoo, why did you decide to get a tattoo of a dinosaur and how old were you? Saw some vans on Suomenlinna today. Is it possible to wild camp on the island?
Yes it could be possible. i think its 45 euros per way to get there with the ferry. So not cheap option. :D
Suomenlinna is no car zone. Only service and delivery cars are allowed. I had been there once with film crew and logistics were no walk in the park.
Do you have the bigger fuel tank on the Ducato? With the upgoing prices of diesel, I feel sorry I did not choose for the 125 liters myself.
We have actually the normal tank and its really tricky to get the larger tank even installed because of the finnish laws. Finnish goverment is afraid that people install those larger tanks so they can bring more cheap diesel from Russia. At the moment diesel in Russia is 0,580 per litre. :D
Vantastic -- Thanks for your comment! Are not we all the same now? We are all European citizens and yet governments are trying to push through their own national laws, crazy! Although weird, in the field of taxes they can all agree on a European level... Just look at those ridiculously artificially high diesel prices that they can present so neatly, all for the benefit of the environment.
I am already working to reduce the movement with my van because fuel takes a serious bite out of my monthly budget. Just by trying to stay in a nice place for a day or two days longer before going somewhere else, and I also reduced the occasional stay at campsite(s) to zero.
Is that a tattoo of a dinosaur? Why did you decide on this specific tattoo? I have heard that very hot and very dry in Germany. The same there? What type of work do you do? I wish my dog was so obedient. Do you have snakes in and out of water there? Bears? Bernii Alabama USA
