- In this POV video, I'm going to show you how to install LED Sequential Turn Signal on the side mirrors for your 2019-202 Toyota RAV4.
At $50, this upgrade gives you good bang for your buck as the installation is very fast and easy to do, it gives you nice/ bright sequential LED turn signal with smoke finish.
I purchased these lights with my own money from amazon.

Side mirror blinkers are to warn others next to you or behind, a reason why the oem lights are so dim from the front. I wish you'd shown the action shots from the back, which is the main purpose of those lights.

Great video, just got the same brand sequential turn lights for my Highlander, they really make a huge difference in the daylight!

Hi Gerald. My 2016 Rav4 LE does not have sequential turn signal side mirrors. They are blanks. Am I SOL on making them sequential? Thanks.
i got those same ones but ive seen others online that are tinted darker...i wish i got them
Oh really? When I searched in Amazon this was the only one they had at that time. I tried to stick with Amazon just because I have prime, quick shipping and easy to return if there are issues.
Hey Gerald you should also do the flood lights on the mirrors to LED it makes a big difference at night

Thanks for this video. I just purchased these lights. This weekend I will put them on.
Just did this on a 2021 Rav4 Prime XSE with the surround cameras.
The internals are different. I accidentally popped off the bottom mirror cover and took me 30 mins to put it back on. If you run into this issue push the mirror forward towards the front of the car to allow more clearance by the hinge and it will pop back in. They went in much easier on the other side.
One of mine was wired backwards I had to flip the wiring harness around on the led. There isn’t a detent to hold it so I added a small zip tie.

Can just the bulb itself be replaced on the originals?
Hey did you lose your blind spot monitor on your xse? I just bought an xse thanks to your video I'm tempted to get these sequential lights. But on amazon some ppl wrote they lost their blind spot monitor after installing these
Hmm really? In theory it shouldn’t because all you’re doing is changing the light located at the back cover and we are not touching anything in the mirror including the BSM.
I haven’t paid attention but I’ll check next time I drive and let you know

I'm thinking of putting one of these sequential turning lights to my rav4 as well but will it affect the warranty of my car? Just worried it could void the warranty.
Will most certainly do. If the engine blow up, they will pin it on the turn signals.
So the OEM lights are a sealed unit? Is the bulb inside replaceable? I have T10 Lasfits in my C-HR Side Mirrror lights.
I think the mirror lights are sealed units... I didn’t try to open the actual light unit itself to replace the bulb since I replaced the entire light units with these sequentials ones

Not sure, haven’t seen the 2021 model yet but I’m thinking it should... Toyota hasn’t changed any of the body style for 20201 RAV4, still the sam as the 2019 & 2020
Bought these a few weeks ago waiting for my 2023 XSE to come in. Would've been nice if it came in the last couple days.
Will this fit on a 2021 Highlander?
Hmm sorry I’m not sure, I know it fits RAV4 and Tacoma, but not sure if it would fit Highlander... you can try and get it from Amazon, see if they fit and if not you can return

I just installed mine which installed pretty easily. However, my dome lights stay and won't go off even with the door closed but everything else works fine. I have the wires connected as you said so any ideas what it could be? Thanks!
So when you installed these sequential turn signal, your dome light inside the car in the middle turned on? That's weird I never had that issue... The turn signals wire should have nothing to do with the done lights... Try playing with the dome light switches?
@@Otthox Thanks for the reply. Me like a dumb ass was just outside getting ready to box them up before I got your reply. I was checking the switches for the dome lights and the main one was depressed keeping the lights on. I didn't realize there was a main one. I think my wife did it..lol Hit the button the lights went out and everything is good. Sorry for the bother.

Thanks for the Video, Made the install heaps easier & you do it a little different than other people. But thanks to all the combined videos all up about 15mins work to install both. Was just nervous about the Cover coming off. Your method works a Treat.

Next you should change the turn signals in the front and the back to led lights too

@@V3N8MOUS lol yeah, I’m thinking too much! When I shopped and research for LED turn signal lights, some people are complaining that the LEDs are hyper flashing either when in too long or when they put both on front and back turn signals... so that’s what’s holding me back now
