Airfix 1/72 Mosquito Mk.XVI - First Impressions

We take a look at the NEW 1/72 Mosquito from Airfix. Finally an out-of-the-box option for the later two-stage, supercharged Merlin-engined Mosquitoes! All things are not perfect however, as there are a few issues to sort out before you can call the kit finished. We point these out and offer some suggestions to correct them.

Great review. From all the reviews done on this kit so far you are the first to mention the bomb bay doors. Airfix didn't do their homework. Can't wait for your next review.

Airfix do an excellent RAF re-supply set which includes the cookie bomb. Maybe that's what your thinking of? Great review

I misspoke at the 14:30 mark. It is the Revell Lancaster that includes a 4000lb Cookie, NOT the Airfix kit.
