WOOO FICTIONAL PLANES FOR COUNTRIES WOOOOOOOOOOO (I love spending hundreds of hours on a plane for a country I made that will immediately go into debt after developing it)
Bf109 is the 2nd most produced aircraft of the war (behind the Il-2) and the 3rd most produced aircraft ever (After the Cessna 172 & Il2). And 34,852 were built compared to the Spitfire's 22,685.
prop airplanes suffer from this issue due to the way the prop manipulates the airflow. the air spirals around the fuselage and ends up blowing into the verti stabiliser, so if you angle the propellor in the opposite way so left in this instance just a little bit it should counteract the propellors manipulation of the wind, this works in real life. hope this helps. i cant run flyout so havent tested if this works in game.
Just tap the brakes gently to correct the direction during the start of the takeoff (if the plane can do differential braking). Plus, a bigger vertical stabilizer and rudder would give more control over yaw and help keep the takeoff run straight later on.
When it came to the inter war period you had the Demon and Hind they were spin-off designs as the Hart was a light bomber and the original fury design was from this time ,Bristol also made the Bulldog as well around same time period all types mentioned had massive export success
There's times when i've wondered what would happen to the Physics if both the top and bottom Wing mounted into the Body then the bottom Wings angled down a bit and the top Wings angled up a bit in a X-Wing Fighter-like way. :P If something like that could actually work crazy like a Fox, I wonder if it'd theoretically enable all four Wings to have Ammo feed through them enabling all the Wings to hold Guns thus enable a higher Gun Count Plane that could then give Biplanes a real big thing to hold over Monoplanes...?
Surely would be a useful aircraft. Its weight might be a bit much for its nature, bringing closer to an empty ton/ton and a half might help. The Hawker Fury (scout little brother of the Hart) had an empty weight around 1250 kg. Make it lighter and the performance might improve. Thanks for the video!
I won't lie, that nose looks *way* too long to be an interwar biplane with a radial engine. I'd cut the fuselage between the back of the engine and the cockpit by at least half. Still love this concept, though, and I remembered to actually subscribe this time.
Have to say I thought the Hart was call the Hawker Hind. I had to almost read the Hawker Hart wiki page to see there was 1,004 Harts were produced between the UK and the handful by Sweden.
If you want smaller guns you can go into the craft file and click on the plane you want and then go into data and if you find the gun and the drum magazine you can set them to smaller or larger than the max size
I love this plane, but the idea of any aircraft having 9mm as its primary armament is hilarious. But maybe my opinion is skewed from preferring late war American aircraft, and their glorious 50 cals and cannons.
The nose looks a bit too long for an interwar radial engine biplane, specially if you compare it with real life exemples like the Grumman F3F and the Gloster Gladiator.
I'm not aiming to "beat" or "compete with" messier - this is a separate series and I encourage anyone to watch both our videos if they're interested in the idea. When it comes to ideas for these kinds of videos, only so many things are possible. Id rather skirt on the side of "copying" so long as I'm having fun, then force myself to make videos I'm uninspired by, and producing worse content as a result.
If you do respond to this, I'll be grateful but I'm kind of new to your channel but just by watching this video you say you can't get Candlelight ideas from people and stuff you probably won't need it but if you do I can but I kind of think of some designs for like small arms cuz I'm not that into with vehicles but I am really in tune with small firearms

25:18 - In this instance I imagine the near 30 kph crosswind might have something to do with it. Though, I do agree it can be pretty aggressive.

would love to see a tank based on early japanese heavys with their big flat front plates
can't wait for an new country tank thing
Can you make a armored car for a nation?

My favourite British neiche micro celebrity uploaded a video horray!
The plane gives me some Italian vibes, sort of like the CR.42 maybe?
Cool build but looks a bit nose-heavy to me.

Kinda looks like a mix between something like a Nimrod/Fury and a J6B
Reminds me of a more aerodynamic Gloster gladiator. Keep up the good work!

Fun fact if you press B to enable symmetry it will mirror the things you do with the assign material button so can just do it on 1 side

Finally a flyout video! thanks patchbits
What if chisford focused to the east? Maybe you can do a video where u like make vehicles more likely to be good in the east.
You should make a helicopter next :)
Why not call the community designs “prototypes”, vehicles designed by the companies of the countries that never saw introduction?
Fan designs could be prototypes or paper planes that were never built or adopted in the setting
i would love to see a full story about this fictional world once youve built the vehicles for all of them
Hooray! More lore and content!
Can you do a early light bomber for chisford next I’m thinking something like a Bristol Blenheim look
Community designs could be failed prototypes or ones that didn’t win the counteract
LORE SEGEMENT YEAH BOIIIIIIIII
32:24 the Drum mags do in fact only go down to 10mm without file editing unfortunately
Have to say I thought the Hart was call the Hawker Hind. I had to almost read the Hawker Hart wiki page to see there was 1,004 Harts were produced between the UK and the handful by Sweden.
I believe the hind is a development of the Hart, there were many.
Now that's a pretty little bird- I'd fly it 😅
I’ve been here since like 4k subs and dude you’re one of my favorite TH-camrs

Given how measurements for bullets are done, it could be 9mm and be a long, heavy, spear of a bullet.
9mm is just the bullet diameter - That's .380", so better than the usual .303/.30-06/8mm.

You are now doing a competitor to Messier82, he has a series on this.
