  • Welcome to another short ''CQB Moment''.
In this part, we are going to talk over the breaching.
The video represents mistakes, and other actions that may
compromise \ put the team in risk and are definitely not
    the ideal.
It is important to remark, that the personal in this video are
participants which are still 'new' to this method. so think twice
    before being a keyboard hero.
    What is a Breach ?
Breaching is a positive method of breaching & must be determined during planning.
    The Breacher, some fundamentals -
Improper breaching denies access into the objective and may cause injury to the team members, innocent bystanders, or the threat. Improper breaching may result in mission failure. Breachers must be capable of:
-Provide positive, safe entry for the team.
    -Potential entry points.
    -Potential danger areas. Analyze.
-Determine which potential entry points would make the best primary and alternate breach points.
-Determine the best primary breaching method technique to use for the primary, alternate, and unknown breach points.
-Remaining prepared to effect more breaching.
It is important to remember that all entry team members must be capable of performing all breaching techniques.

Eli is one of the best. Have baised my training methods around his fundamentals and formulas he shares in his videos. Been practicing regularly and I'm very confident in my CQB abilities now

I know this video is old but hot damn number 4 man on the stack kept pointing his gun right at the guy holding the camera..... made my head hurt watching that.

It’s a catch 22, cause in real urban combat scenarios it’s better and faster to keep your weapon in a high port position rather than a low port cause you can get the help of gravity to drop ur weapon into the ready to fire position. If they were using live ammo, they would have to keep their weapons in a low port position to avoid flagging the cameraman. The debate between high port or low port being better has been going on for a while now. After fallujah people found out that high port is faster when breaching.

      @Sarrienne 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@izkh4lif4 Faster is not always faster, though - The high port puts things (arms, sling, weapon) directly into your line of sight, and sometimes also that of your team-mates. You'd then need to lower those in order to get a PID before firing, which is ultimately slower.

I'm very good at English grammar. If you want someone to help with your spelling and wording in English I'll gladly help. Nobody should have any excuse to doubt or mock your intelligence and linguistic ability, and I want what you're trying to say to be as clear and well-understood as possible. Thanks as always for sharing such great knowledge for free. I wish I was "somewhere in Germany" so I could take a class!

If you were that good at English, you'd also understand that nobody with a higher command of English should mock or patronise, either, JSG... especially when the person you're insulting has FAR superior skills with, and ready access to, assault level firearms!!

@@Sarrienne That's called the "Ad Bachulum" fallacy. Basically, "I can hurt or kill you so I'm right and you should STFU." You obviously don't have command of much PHIL 101...
Also, I wasn't mocking him. I was making a sincere offer to help, so that these skills and information won't be lost in translation, and that other people WON'T mock him. Obviously, you don't have much command of the "reading and comprehension" skill

@@idosegev4938 You did, but others may not. Sonny Puzikas is every bit as elite (more IMHO), yet suffers from being mocked for his Eastern European accent and many say they can't understand what he says when he talks. I understand it all, but the criticism was so bad that one of his DVDs was entitled "lost in translation." Because OTHER people can't understand it, they both miss out on cool firearms skills, and get a mistakenly bad impression of how the AK is meant to be used and how effective it is
My offer is to help prevent similar problems and unnecessarily lost transmission of skill, which is the POINT of these videos. Not to jerk of thinking of what a badass the instructor is (as your comment basically does)
