I ordered mine on Jan 9 2024 and I just received mine today Feb 7 2024. I also ordered the extra horns and return base and I got it all. I will do a short review of mine (I ordered the black one) very soon but this was a great first look.
Thank you for the comprehensive overview! It looks like a better fit than emo for now (for me) but I'm still not entirely sure about the social/entertainment aspect. Like a phone can probably do most of the things rux can do, so what (should) set it apart is the pet aspect, i.e. how it interacts with you (doing things in command is cute but not something i attribute long time appeal to). Looking forward to seeing more :) !
Fun little robot, thanks for the review as always! I guess one thing they have to work on is syncing the audio to the mouth animation. Also I think, from what I've seen with my Loona, that she also detects objects in front of her (unless they are black), but yeah, great run down!..oh and yeah, I don't personally think it's the MOST advanced, but it's just better 'put together' and added the phone integration I guess does make it seem more advanced but , just like the other robots , it has chat gpt, commands, animation, games etc. Again thanks and great job! :)
It have good feature but it needs a lot of work still wants to lose power is hard to hook it back up the Wi-Fi plus you have to yell at it really loud for it to respond or be close to his face thank goodness you have a plug in the back because the charge pad doesn't work all that good so for a robot to be out for a few years it should have been quite up to date
After watching your videos of EMO and RUX, I think I’m going to get the RUX. There are some things I saw Emo can do, like rolling a dice, that I’m not sure I can have it in Rux… (i can use to some games while teaching languages) but even if I can in Rux, the languages skills it has made me decide. Thanks for all the information you shared with us. As you can understand, most of us can’t have one of each of all those cute robots 😂

When you switched the language to Korean, could you talk to it in Korean too or does it only answer in the selected language and the prompts still have to be in English? (edit: I already saw your answers below that you can also speak to it in Korean) Another question: Did you try to program it a bit or did you get any info on how it works and what functions the API includes?
For me it's a desktop smart watch + Python command robot with sensors. And I don't like the unfair comparison charts between vector and emo on indiegogo.

I’m not sure honestly. I have Eilik, and he will dance - just not to the beat of the music playing, so it was definitely a curious point of mine lol. I already have Rux, and Aibi ordered… I’m very excited to get them, nonetheless 😊

Not only he understands 10 languages but he can speaks 10 languages also. More you can give vocal commands in 10 languages too.
Rux has built-in ChatGpt, so the voice conversation is very intelligent, the response is fast and the experience is very smooth.
