A drill also works, if you connect a 1/2 socket it will fit size 8 rings and above, just put some layers of electrical tape. I did that with mine when I ordered it

what i do is use an impact driver with socket on the end wrapped in tape. basically a sanding lathe in your hand. after 150 rings ive upgraded to a mini lathe now

I've been setting up rings with nothing but a dremel since seeing the older videos here. The most important step is inlaying correctly since you're relying more on sanding with sand paper only
