Wtf, cleared up to the first corrupted arcana like 20 times, took one of the corrupted options, and then exited the level through the portal that opened right in front of my face thinking that was everything the new update offered… I had absolutely no clue there was even a door there, lol. I honestly would have never even known there was more were it not for this vid. It literally looks like every other wall. This is a great game, but they really need to improve communicating complex and basic mechanics to players.
The only indicator is that there is still the "Boss" Symbol in the middle of the tower. So there had to be any way to get down there - but you are 100% right, on release day I had the same issue lol. I didn't see the door on level 1 first .. and then i didnt find it on level 3 lol.
Lol , wtf , i did the same thing , just took the portal that popped up as if i was done , i thought this new island was just a type of tutorial , that said this game is friggin hard
i used maxed out hailstorm on boss while keeping all seeing eye with 1 mysterium to deal with smaller enemies, to some extent i was even able to ignore cultists and keep head shotting boss using hailstorm, sure burning stake and flame spells helped but yeah, that`s how i beat him
There are sigils on the walls in the tower. They look like the shield portal thing on the wall from level 3. I found one on level two and it spewed out like 20 little essence chunks. Went from 12 or 13 to 32 on one floor
you can only do it if you edit your savegame :) Savegames are located in: C:\Users\ USERNAME \AppData\Local\Witchfire\Saved\SaveGames the two options are: "GnosisLevel" and "Progression.Quest.Gnosis.HighestUnlocked" you want to set both to 5 or 6. Game doesn't get harder but you get both slots for the prophecies :)

@@chr_isso Hi mate, 7 obelisks have been collected (activated), in the map when you hover the cursor it is written: missing string table entry. The location has been cleared more than once. I need yuor help
still i passed unbearably fast, it wasn't hard at all and all the new content doesn't seem like much. in the same castle everything is much harder. I think I'll start it just from scratch, it gives at least some challenge, and monsters would like to be more difficult in this game.
I mean the tower is meant to be opened on gnosis 2, so maybe on level 20-30 with a few m2 weapons. If you play it with m3 of course its not so hard. We gotta wait for Full Release

The same thing happened to me, they should have highlighted the door a bit or at least a note that it would continue downstairs.

yeah it helps a lot! I leveled witchery to 45 since spells help you so much in this game!

Exactly! That is how you unlock the 110 Essence for the 5th Boss unlock

The tower is so hard. Holy crap. I need to farm some witchfire I guess.
The most important thing is to have combos, e.g. Loadouts that work well together.

@@chr_isso thank you! I just started the game and I’ve noticed it takes a lot of grinding to get decent gear.
It got much better since they tweaked Gold economy. Hangfire and cornucopia will make you a lot of profit

The mechanic is quite simple. Kill the monks (Sanity drain) and then go for damage!
