The 'Flying-boats' was the smallest, Viking-bådene og Centrum-Linien (picture) larger, but DSB's Ørnen og Gripen were the largest. Dutyfree shopping was popular.
I love to watch this. What might confuse some other people who watch this are the different sea locations mixed somewhat together: 1. Esbjerg and the DFDS ferry to Harwich, 2. The DSB Great Belt ferries and 3. The Øresund sea traffic.
Well, Hotel Royal from 1960, commonly called SAS Huset, is considered a "skyskraber", 22 floors, 70 meters and the tallest in central Copenhagen at the time. You can catch a glimpse of the lower part of the building at 6:57. The first "skyskraber" in Copenhagen is Danhostel Copenhagen City from 1955, originally called Hotel Europa, 18 floors, 56 meters, and you can see the building in the distance at 7:58.
Totally enchanting - thanks for your work. For me not the least fun to see the Malmö-Copenhagen ferries, which I then thought were soooo big!

Fine scenes!
From 9:20 it is Oslo. Then I don't know about the brewery, the last scenes are from Tivoli in Copenhagen.
The brewery is Carlsberg in Valby, suburban part of Copenhagen, where a small part of the company still exists today.

Another round of nostalgia 🥲🥳

Great video AWOL 11, amazing footage 😀👍
9:21 to 9:59 is not Denmark but Oslo, Norway
Film er fra 1969...1970 : Rigshospital kan ses fra Rådhuspladsen at 7'48''. Lovely to se Copenhagen as I saw it the first time :)
Cool bus at Carlsberg....
And no "skyskrabers" back then.
