Why do Pakistanis insist on digging holes for themselves to fall into? Of late Bilawal Bhutto had been getting a lot of criticism for his large contingents on foreign tours. Then Hina takes a small team to a meeting and then again this is a problem. They are in a situation right now where they are damned if they do and doomed if they don't. I remember when Sharief had met with Putin and was fiddling with his mike, Pakistanis were brutal with him for something that could've happened to anyone. I think it all boils down to the fact that Pakistanis perceive their leaders as incompetent, and to a great extent they are right. I can imagine Jaishankar in the same situation as Hina Rabbani Khar and honestly we would have lauded him no matter what he would have done. But that's because he is a seasoned diplomat who is widely respected all over the world, whereas Bilawal and team are the literal personification of ineptitude. As an Indian I hope that Pakistan gets better, more sensible leadership so that both countries can move forward. I mean we already are, hopefully Pakistan will too.
