How to tie a hasty harness with 1 inch webbing

If you do not have enough harnesses for your canyoneering group, you can take 20-30 ft of webbing and tie hasty harnesses. Make sure to inspect them and load test them to make sure they are tied correctly.

with the rest of the webbing you could easily make chest harness (would greatly help with stability during emergency rappel).also one tip (if i may); when you get around the leg hoop, tie simple overhand knot. i've learned that hard way (if one or both leg loops are cut your entire harness will fall apart lighting fast)...

Make it easier on yourself and start by tucking a little bit of the middle of the webbing in your waistband
