The musical style somehow reminds me of John Rutter and rather oddly an animated feature na pambata na di ko maalala. Haha. Doon sa speech ni sir AJ sa livestream, he talks of paano magiging "bata" yung tunog versus the pomp of Misa Inmaculada... or something like that... and this Gloria shows that theme very well. Napakahusay po. Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino!
I do like the new setting of Gloria; much better than the original Papuri sa Diyos from Misa Inmaculada Concepcion. Both of the settings are all beautiful despite their big differences. Kudos to Sir AJ Consolacion; it will also become the next immortal setting of this Gloria, aside from the Papuri sa Diyos (MIC) setting.
