What do you work as? I graduated with a degree in Animal Behaviour 2 years ago but have now climbed the ladder as an IT support analyst. I’m climbing the wrong ladder lol

I'm currently working with conservation project data but am about to transition back into academia to start a PhD. If you still want to work in something related to animals then your IT skills would absolutely be useful in conservation organisations, especially combined with your degree background! I've got another video coming soon that looks at more of the hands off jobs, like the data work I'm doing. Perhaps you can get some inspiration from that about a job that could bring you back into the animal field!

    hlw there!
I'm BSc zoology student at India.. I wanna pursue the Global wildlife health and conservation course in university of bristol , is this great option to work in wildlife with various animals???
Or should I go onward through msc in zoology....which is best .....?
Is this wildlife health and conservation course worth to study?
plz help me out .... sister.

Great to hear from you! I think making the choice of which Masters course to study is a very personal decision. I have never studied wildlife health or been to Bristol, although I do know people that enjoyed studying there and the course looks good from the website. If health is something you're interested in then it sounds like a good option. Is there an msc zoology course that you're comparing it to? There might be other things that make the decision for you, like whether you want to live in that location or what the fees for that specific course are. In general, if an academic or research career interests you then I would say getting a masters is a good idea regardless of which course you do. For me, a conservation masters got me a job in data science and then that got me a phd position in behaviour, so you don't need to feel like specialising now will restrict you in the future. It's the skills that you learn during the course that will help your future career. Hope that helps!
