O Rex Géntium (O King of The Nations) - The Great O Antiphons of Advent (SPP Church, SG)

Again, as Isaiah prophesied:
"His authority shall grow continually,
and there shall be endless peace for the throne of David and his kingdom.
He will establish and uphold it with justice and with righteousness
from this time onwards and for evermore."
(c.f. Isaiah 9: 7)
We see this pattern in almost all our O Antiphons - Jesus as the New Covenant fulfils God's promise foretold by the Prophets!
The Sixth Antiphon - O Rex Géntium (O King of The Nations)
🕯 Count down the last seven days before Christmas with us!
With hope, expectation and longing, join us every day from December 17th to 23rd for the Angelus Prayer at noon.
LISTEN, DISCOVER and LEARN the Seven commonly overlooked Antiphons of Advent that originate from Evening Prayers (Vespers) of the day. Each tie together seven aspects of hope, longing and doctrine, culminating with the Day we celebrate the Holy Incarnation!
End off each moment of reflection with the original Vespers Gregorian Chant set to the Antiphon texts, in their original form according to traditional ancient missals!
