Your twists and your twist bob are beautiful! Larger twists have saved a ton of time and provided ease for me too 🩷 thx for sharing your journey with us✨ wishing you the best in school!
I am sure because it is too time consuming but look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Hahaha indeed! There's definitely more to it, though. Thanks for watching
I can’t wait to hear. I learned/realized last year, they contributed to a lot of interior breakage. When i started wearing my hair straight (rollersets at home, silk press at the salon for trims) i had so much thinning…i think the getting my hair wet, and it curling on itself and causing single strand knots, as well as it always being on my shoulders was harsh on my hair.
I still do mini twists tho.
It’s just my style 3 weeks before a professional trim, if i can’t schedule it like that, i don’t install them.
Can’t wait to hear ur reason!
I did mini twist once and boy did my hair hate it! It was pretty but whenever I tried to wash them, they unraveled or tried to loc up. Taking them down was a nightmare because they tried to mat. I know the trick to keep them from locking is to moisturize everyday, but it still didn’t work for me because any ounce of liquid made them unravel. It was kinda hard for me so I’m sticking to mini braids instead 😅
i dont moisturise my twists if you do they turn rock hard you can beat the moisture you get on wash day the only way to extend it is to oil your scalp and slightly the rest of you hair no water
I definitely have a better time with braids than mini twists. I get more signal strand knots oddly enough with twist
I love the twist bob on you it's really flattering, it reminds me of a specific type of locs, forgot the name, that are really chunky and meant to be kept short. I also think if anyone can get to thigh length hair it would be you so don't even worry about getting there.
I want to go back to mini twists. It was so nice to just wash my hair and go, not having to worry about detangling or styling. My sweet spot was to not make them too small, and only keep them in for 3 weeks. I think I'll do that next wash day.
Glad you've figure out something that works for you! It feels like everytime life changes the hair regimen also has to change😅 Feels like I've been refiguring out my routine since 2020 😅
I'm a mini twists warrior I do them in like 20 minutes pretty tiny my sister has thick hair that I could do in 1 hour my biggest tip is if you have fine hair is to redo them weekly
@User-q8d9j How are you able to do that? I would really appreciate some details.
@User-q8d9j That’s exactly what I do as a fine textured natural. If I don’t my twist will start to tangle within 7 to 10 days. Mini twist are not as low maintenance as some naturals believe, you have to put in work to prevent the hair from locking. Refreshing and retwisting the twist is a must if you’re fine textured.
@@l.w.8591Discovering this for myself now too. Literally left my twists from the Saturday before last till today and let me tell you, taking them down was crazy
I haven't watched the entire video yet..just wanted to say i love your sweater!
Can you do a video on how you did the twists into a bob?? Its so cute and i want to try it!!
You're back 😊
I went back to using coconut oil and a conditioner for my detangling process like I use to do at the beginning of my journey. It has cut down on time a lot. I’m 11 years natural and currently at tailbone length. I want longer braid outs. I do mini twist often as well. Sometimes I leave them in for 3 months. Now I keep them in for a month’s time. I start to get ALoT of split ends if I prolong it. I would moisturize every 2-3 and would still have splits. Now I just moisturize every 4-7 days. This also helps with my frizz…
i love that style at the end where it looks like locs! Do y ou have a dedicated video ?
Thank-you so much! I don't have a video yet, but I will be filming one very soon. Please feel free to subscribe so you don't miss it
The audio and visuals are way better with the new camera and mic 🎉
I stopped bc it’s takes wayyy too long. But my hair hasnt grown the same since stopping lol.
Way too long to twist and take out. I used to redo every other week. Then once ever few weeks. Just too much work and time
It takes me two days 😑. I still do them though. I only redo them every 3 weeks.
What mint tea do you use on your scalp?
jumbo twists would look so good on your hair
The minute you said they are in stockkkkkkk I ran to top upp
I personally don't like twists as my hair just not like them at all. There are two TH-camrs that may find interesting they both have super long thick hair and they do twists, large ones. Klassically Kept and Chris Lindsay.
Want to order, but the currency didn't convert to USD. I wanted to ensure you get paid properly.
You're so beautiful 😍
