- The Honda X-Blade BS6 is now priced at Rs 1,06,687 for the rear drum brake-equipped variant. The rear disc brake variant, on the other hand costs Rs 1,10,968 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The BS6 bike is available in four colours as opposed to five in the BS4 compliant model. It gets an all-new Unicorn-derived engine and a bunch of other updates. The Honda X-Blade BS6 draws power from the same 162.71cc single-cylinder air-cooled, fuel-injected, counterbalanced engine that you find on the new Unicorn BS6. However, it is tuned differently, producing 13.8PS at 8000rpm and 14.7Nm at 5500rpm. In comparison, the BS4 XBlade made 14.12PS and 13.9Nm. The addition of the counterbalancer should make the engine more refined. It is linked to the same 5-speed transmission as before.

I am using the bs4 version since last year and that is my first bike. I must say this bike is under-rated than the capabilities it has. I drive everyday almost 60 km (home -office) and it gives me almost 50km /ltr milage.💪

Honda is putting their line up very accurately. Hornet 2.0 and This X-Blade is a great all rounder bike. X-Blade has kick stand which can come handy while touring on remote locations. Hornet 2.0 comes with USD forks and slightly higher CC engine. Both bikes have good instrument panel with Gear position indicators. Nice. I just hope X-Blade doesn't have engine issues. Regarding the cons of this bike, I was never a fan of Honda's monoshock tbh. I've read countless threads and have personally talked to my friends who have that Unicorn and they all complain about the Monoshock and Back problems. Honda needs to provide better rear suspension.

Awesome video. I had finalised this bike to buy. But then Honda launched the Hornet 2.0
So, I'm quite confused, as bcoz both are mostly similar for a city user (except for the engine & USD forks). Waiting for your review on Hornet 2.0. Please compare the X-Blade & new Hornet, in-terms of city usage. I'm sure that many people will be having this doubt, about which bike to go for.

I don't really like Hero Moto corp. Please suggest a 160cc bike around 1.25 on road in Maharashtra. Why are bikes so costly in Maharashtra? There is around 5000 to 10000 rupees difference when compared to other states.

I own one and let me tell you not bcoz I m owner, but it is sporty and comfortable bike in traffic and also on Highways. It is smooth in traffic.. and a very nice pick up on Highways

May be you should rate bike based on fit and finish, features, engine smoothness, ride quality and power like doug demuro
Honda engines are top class. I am using unicorn for the past 10 years and not a single problem so far. Before unicorn I was using bullet electra and it had oil leak problem from the engine. But the driving pleasure was great on it. Now waiting for my Himalayan but will continue to use my unicorn for city commute. Good review Nitish, keep it up.
