Toshinori Yagi is All Might's real name. Calling him Toshi is like a nickname, and Yagi is his first name. Corrected my earlier mistake saying it was his last name my bad!
And in the "everyone's name is a pun" department- "Yagi" written with the kanji for "eight" and "tree"- he's the eighth OfA holder (all of them have their number somewhere in their name) and the characters central to the AfO/OfA plot- Deku, Yagi, the Shigarakis, Garaki (the doctor*)- all have a kanji relating to trees or wood in their names. (*the doctor in particular had to be renamed because of controversy, but both his old and new names follow the pattern)
I know this is late but you've got it reversed. Yagi is his family name. and Toshinori is his given name. this is why it makes more sense that he has a nickname of Toshi. like calling someone named Thomas, Tom.
Keep in mind the 20% of the population that are quirkless are majority of older people 40+ , to find one with the same morals, physically fit body, and will to fight is insanely difficult
And even then, OfA grows exponentially, with Deku amping it quite a bit, so it'd be within possibility if he passes it onto someone like him, with a body and mindset (quirk admiration) unsuited for the initial strength boost that they'd never properly reach 100%

This arc is the source of almost ALL of my speculation regarding OFA and why I’m so insistent on my theories and how I’ve cultivated it. It was the start of my truly in depth research of this show. I had an eye for detail back then, but I REALLY started practicing and developing it SPECIFICALLY because I started noticing a deeper nuance here. I will say I don’t mind at all that All-Might’s blazing vestige is still. Mainly BECAUSE he’s injured and can’t use his power. So it’s like at a standstill for now. But the fact he’s on fire tells me that he holds the prime of OFA even now. And there’s two differences between everyone else and Deku. Deku is partially covered in fog, and everyone has an equally sized upholstered throne. None of them are better or worse, each quirk stands the same in OFA. (Also the 2nd and 3rd holder have their backs turned in a way that implies disagreement less ostracized. It’s their CHOICE not to speak. And considering Deku’s will to save…and their specific era…yeah, I kinda get it.) Yet Deku has no throne. The fog partially covering Deku is obviously meant to be taken as his control. He controls 45%. But the other holders mastered 100% of their era so they appear and can fight in full. And the throne? I believe that is the symbol of the prime. We don’t know how much is passed when OFA is passed. But it’s always smaller than the grandest aspect of the power, and somewhere along the line it is vastly improved. And All-Might was already injured when he met Deku, so I’m betting he gave him even less. And THAT is what Deku works to master. 1/60th of prime All-Might. And when he DOES claim the prime, it’ll likely be like Goku getting super saiyan. (Or if we’re getting REALLY technical, Gohan who Deku ACTUALLY has personality traits in common.) And I do not believe that has occurred yet. Almost ALL of it comes from these chapters. Heck, my theory of how Deku stockpiled his power comes in the next few episodes. This also revealed a substantial amount that All-Might KNEW. He KNEW OFA was killing the quirk holders and could be killing Deku. That’s what Bakugo and All-Might were talking about as Float training was happening. And he MAY have realized that All-Might’s quirklessness wasn’t a factor. Didn’t tell Deku ANY of it. And while All-Might didn’t have as much IN DEPTH vestige encounter, I still standby my quirk accusations of All-Might awakening. The rapid expansion HAS occurred in Deku, but I still have yet to see proof the prime has been claimed. But I DO think his maximum will be MUCH greater than All-Might’s when the time comes for the prime to reach Deku. I can’t WAIT. I’ve been waiting SO long to talk about this in the anime. That being said, we also have why this arc is so personal to me. I want all of you to pay attention to Deku’s eyes throughout this arc. This kid is burdened with a COUNTRY worth of pressure. And as an empath….let’s just say what he’s feeling was completely and utterly inevitable. Deku has abandoned any sense of true emotional support he had with his friends. I’ve also suspected for the longest time he said something more personal to Uraraka, but she DEFINITELY took it harder than anyone else even if I now know otherwise. This episode is RICH with lore but I’ll repost the full OFA theory once we get to the part where we see the signals of Deku’s progression.
You can tell from the tone of Deku's voice that his world has drastically changed. Both VAs did a good job on that. The "giant villain" reference was to compare how it was peaceful in the first season and now it isn't. People are scared to even leave their house or stay in Japan any longer. Deku has learned that he's the last wielder of One For All since it's very rare to find a quirkless human nowadays. Since he's the last wielder, if he dies/loses to All For One/Shigaraki, One For All will either be stolen or it'll die with him, assuring that there won't be anyone else who can stop them. He's seen the how the world truly works. Some people are beyond saving & if they can be saved, sometimes the only way is to kill them so you release them from their pain & suffering they've had to endure all their life. In the span of 10-30 minutes within his mind, he had to process all of this and knowing that within one year of inheriting One For All, the world's future rests on his shoulders. And he's only 16. That's a lot to take in for a kid who's only had a quirk for not too long. Surprised he hasn't gotten a heart attack from all this yet. He is the only person that can defeat Shigaraki and All For One. And if he loses, the world becomes their play toy. And he knows that.
This episode could have been a season finale, the end of one of the longest arc and it teases the next one brilliantly, it's the end of the school year, it's been a complete year since the beginning, it's the moment where everything changes, and the audience waiting years to see what happen next could have been great for the hype ^^ that's how I felt reading the manga at least ^^ but I understand making 25 episodes as usual :)
As a manga reader, next season will be the best season, just like season 1. A new character will appear she is one of the best characters in the series, my blonde buff waifu. America 🇺🇸 🦅
I think that's how this season will end tbh. The conclusion of the vigilante deku arc isn't too far off, it's literally after his upcoming battle. I'm guessing the last 2 episodes will be that fight between that new character and All for shigaraki.
@@truth3412 Next episode will end with the beginning of the fight, episode after that will most likely end with the apology, episode after the will be the speech, final ep will be the aftermath/cliffhanger.
@WillFanofMany II you could be right I just reread a bunch of chapters in the manga. There is enough to fill the 4 episodes without getting to the fight I was talking about. I just figured it would be a good way to end the season. The aftermath of that fight leads to a pretty big cliffhanger
its hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt when you found out they lied for so long. and he only owned up to it because the person he wronged brought everything up to light.
Man, I would love to see you guys go waaaaay back and finish your reaction to Trigun that you did one episode of. Trigun Stampede's dub has started and it's been an amazing anime so far.
The funniest part of this entire episode is that Touya somehow managed to set up a working TV inside a rundown mansion(Sorry CRC you've been evicted) and was just praying on Endeavor's downfall. Man was ready for the slip up. Onto the episode, Tomura has constantly been shown with butterfly imagery ever since MVA. First inside the bloody cocoon during his backstory. Then him emerging from the cocoon during the Doctor's monologue about the experiment. Now we see him with butterfly wings in the imagery. Which makes me wonder if that's symbolism of All For One. All For One is the cocoon that Tomura has to shed. The guy who groomed him up to feel hatred towards everything and everyone. The guy who is now inside his body. If he sheds away that hatred and anger, will he be Tomura? Tenko? A new being entirely? Only time will tell. There are two very interesting variables inside that scenario. Izuku and Spinner. Both have expressed wanting to help/save Tomura. Izuku wants to reach out to the little boy inside of him. Spinner wants him to be free from AFO. And I wonder how them both trying to save him in completely different ways is going to work out in the end
Personally I like to call this next arc " Rouge Deku Arc" but most people like to call it the dark deku arc. But I can see why they call him dark deku.
it's officially the "Dark Hero" arc- Rogue or Vigilante doesn't really work because he...isn't really rogue or vigilante lol he's licensed, working with the top 3 Heroes, told his mom where he was going, and got permission from his principal- the most "rogue" thing he does is not take care of himself

Vigilante Deku for the win!
Don't Forget about Vinland Saga Season 2. The English Dub is at Episode 4. The Japanese is at episode 7.
Episode 19 also came out Sunday
These episode titles are gonna be an entire paragraph by series end
They dropped two episodes over the weekend, are you going to drop the other one since they skipped a week.
My hero academia Season 6 episode 19 English dubbed also out 🔥
Beautiful Rana, love seeing your excitement. Your smile always brightens my day.
Beautiful? Marketa’s right there
@@narukunn5152 Marketa's attractive and sweet, don't get me wrong, but honestly I think Rana is more attractive. I mean everybody's view is different.
@@kageakuma3009 true
@@narukunn5152 Eh...
Toshinori Yagi is All Might’s real name lol
its hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt when you found out they lied for so long.
and he only owned up to it because the person he wronged brought everything up to light.
15:20 hahaha marketa knows whats up
episode 19 this week?
We're in the endgame, BUT the longest arc too. Let's freaking go.
Also not to be confused with Season 2, Episode 15 Midoriya and Shigaraki xD
Yet again golden guy is all might lol
Imagine being Deku and you fight so hard to make it in UA and you end up leaving school. So Deku is a high school dropout…. That has me mouth agape.
Wow you’re dumb.
Y’all are going to freak at this next episode
that pink hoodie is awesome
Man, I would love to see you guys go waaaaay back and finish your reaction to Trigun that you did one episode of.
Trigun Stampede's dub has started and it's been an amazing anime so far.
The latest dub already came out. Saw it yesterday
Apparently the dub finally released 2 episodes this week....soo....
"There's a flame one?!" *facepalm*
Where did the name Yagi come from? Well if you don't know his name then why wouldn't you assume it's his name?
this is objectively the best version of deku. he is Him.
Do they know there’s another dub out?
If she had been with her family they would have been targeted sooner and she probably would have never met yagi which would have meant no all might
How would Spider-Man and his rogues gallery of villains(Marvel Comics) fare in the My Hero Academia universe?
Finally they're on Vigilante Deku
Deku is wearing Gran Torino's cape, it just looks like a scarf because he's taller, It also is a little reminder of Aizawa.
Hold on do they think all might's full name is all might 😂
How you dont know that yagi is all might bruh
All might is the real hero 🔥
And deku too 👊
AM's name is Yagi Toshinori :)
Enter BatDeku!
Personally I like to call this next arc " Rouge Deku Arc" but most people like to call it the dark deku arc. But I can see why they call him dark deku.
it's officially the "Dark Hero" arc- Rogue or Vigilante doesn't really work because he...isn't really rogue or vigilante lol
he's licensed, working with the top 3 Heroes, told his mom where he was going, and got permission from his principal- the most "rogue" thing he does is not take care of himself
Dub for ep 19 is out too
They forget that gigantomachia did get bombed and it did nothing
Suraj "the flame guy" is Toshinori Yagi aka Allmight you guys are not thinking with your brains 😑
Deku goes Batman
Finally! An episode where the focus is on Class "A's" only hero, Deku.
You will get the rest of them soon. Won't spoil if you are not a manga reader.
@@shauryadeshwal7368 who do you mean by "the rest of them"? Class "A" has only one worthy hero.
@@theawesomeman9821 As a manga reader, I am smiling really big knowing what is going on in the latest chapter.
Final Act means Final Saga begins
Yagi is All Mights firstt name its barely mentioned lol
It’s his surname
Yagi is his family name.. Toshinori is his given name

LADY NAGANT
*Before people start commenting, the top comment addresses the Yagi mishap and tons of people have said the same thing with different levels of patience. I'm sure they've got it by now🤣 It's not a huge deal. Y'all are making us MHA fans look bad by getting annoyed over small mistakes. Talk about the rest of the video instead. Thanks for another great reaction Normies!*
they miss so many things though😭 big details most of the time
@@glossixe8138 I get it. It sucks. But, they aren't the only ones like this. They watch a ton of stuff all the time plus there are long breaks between seasons plus I understand the need to talk instead of thinking in a reaction video. They also don't have the luxury of pausing or rewinding as some other reactors have.
I'd rather be patient with them while still correcting them. People can be a bit harsh. Ultimately, this is supposed to be a fun experience for them and us.
This is so far down lmao
@@dennis2667 😅
@@shir0azure339 no disrespect just funny its a warning but all the way down here
We waited so long to see the reveal of Deku's power. How everyone would react. And they do it mainly off screen in the form of letters. If feels like a real let down.
Were people really waiting for that? Weird doesn't make sense to expect that if itd been a secret all these years not sure why people thought that would change it obviously did but its not like it was guaranteed to happen
VIGILANTE DEKUUUUU!!!!
6 seasons in...6 seasons in..Yagi is All Might.
🤦♂
SPOILER ALERT:
Deku is Batman.
