My headcannon is that One for All wasnt fully transfered because Bakugo didnt want it, he's petty af and cares about Deku in his own competitive way
Well even tho they are rivals he knows deku will become the greatest hero
That or it's because the quirk literally has a mind of its own, or should I say "minds"

I agree - Bakugo didn't want to take One For All so much that the MOMENT he took it, he gave it back - meaning HE was using the embers of OFA during that fight, not Deku.
Officially it's that OFA is sentient and didn't want to permanently transfer to him.
I want to show Katsuma "The wrong way to use healing magic" Because that anime shows off a *DUMBED DOWN* version of what he could do with his quirk.
Bakugos Popsicle is the saddest death in the movie
Between Eri, Kota and Katsuma Deku keeps proving himself as the best big brother. I swear those 3 are going to be the new big 3 of UA when they get older.
if we dont get to see all the kids Deku has saved turn into pro heros one day i will RIOT, i NEED to see Eri fully grown and kicking ass like the girlboss she is
@Professor_Wisteria_ I feel like when she graduates UA, she will become the new school nurse. Using her Quirk to rewind the injured back to before they got hurt.
@@animangaclandora she absolutely has the potential to be a nurse but she could also be quite literally the best support hero in existence. Give her a support item to increase her mobility and suddenly you have a mobile timewinder on the field to heal any and all heroes in danger, and [MANGA SPOILERS FOR THOSE NOT READING IT] she's shown that she can take parts of herself off (her horn) and use those SEPARATE from her body to achieve the same effect. If she somehow paired with someone like Vlad King with blood manipulation, then she basically becomes an near endless heal for whoever she's supporting and she herself doesn't even need to get close to the battle, she can just send pieces of her body out as heal potions
If you can't tell I've thought a LOT about how her quirk could influence the story, I love her so much 😂

I heard that this movie was based off the manga author's original idea for how the series would end. Makes sense considering Nine is basically just a stand in for AFO/Shiggy.
Considering how the manga is going, with how the heros just can't seem to get a win with how All For One just seems to be fucking invincible at this point with how OP he is and how no matter what they do he just goes "Nah I'd win" on them.... Yeah I have to guess Horikoshi did not think that one through on letting them use his original idea for an ending with this movie because motherfucker has no idea how to end the story properly now 😅. I wouldn't be surprised if he Deux Ex Machinas the crap out of it and makes Deku time travel to make AFO be born quirkless or be born good or some shit at this point 🤣

Tbf the recent chapters remind me of this movie, in the way that almost everyone does something and has a stand out moment
I am pretty sure that was a mistranslation. From what I remember, they didn’t say that this was going to be how it would end, just that a couple elements of it might have been included.
also makes sense considering the shit happening in the manga with Shiggy, very similar concepts are being brought into play right now too!

*There are a lot of big moments here. Between each member of the class playing their part to beat Nine and Kacchan finally getting to use One for All, and that’s just the start of it!*
What’s weird is that the anime cut out scenes in season 5 that were supposed to connect to this movie. Like the doctor telling Shigaraki that they need to deliver a “package” before he receives his power up, that “package” being Nine.
Heroes Rising is literally the last movie I saw in a theatre, back in March 2020. I was spoiled far in advance about the OFA 'transfer' so that wasn't a shock to me, but regardless. That entire last attack, on the big screen? I didn't blink, I couldn't breathe. That song and those visuals were just, DAMN.
I understand the last 2 eps of OP were intense, both extremely sad and then extreamly happy n wholesome
This has to be my favorite MHA movie. Some truly powerful enemies. 1-A students got to shine. And that final fight went crazy. It was so cool to see what Bakugo would do if he had OFA. I always wait for the Yutapon moments in these MHA movies. It always delivers.
I loved how everyone thought the ending of this move was bs, but both horikoshi and the manga proves that this is 100% canon. Ofa can choose the user and this is basically how mha was suposed to end originally

@@BenganGamer iirc All-For-One can steal One-For-All, what you are thinking about is OFA ability to pass it and it's users quirks to another person but AFO is the ability to steal anyone's quirk regardless of limitations and those quriks be activated at will (what AFO does when fighting All Might and basically listing what he is activating during the fight).
@@KazuoLucasno if you read the manga or watched the anime you would know that in the fight with AFO deku and the other users of ofa stopped him from taking it so not even AFO can take ofa if the user doesn’t will it to happen.

After watching this again (with a little manga knowledge) it's so cool a lot of what happens in this movie was foreshadowing for the later parts of the manga, **spoilers**
the tentacle dude was mocked for being ugly and later in the manga he counter inspires a large mob of mutant type quark users and basically turned every mutant to turn against Afo including that gaint rocky guy that was afo pet (although he was angry at afo for leaving him for so long), the cool combo with deku and bakugo that launches one of them was used to get to all might and afo as fast as possible to save all might, stealing ofa wasn't possible because of the previous users, it's so cool the movie does all this, and the author loves them and makes them cannon he says it's like waiting to watch a dragon ball movie as a kid
She truly edging the Franky Balls, incredible, never have i felt so betrayed
My headcanon is that Bakugo managed to transfer One-For-All back to Deku before collapsing, because he thought that using All Might’s power to surpass All Might would be cheating.
“Take your damn power back, Deku! I won’t be accused of taking shortcuts!”

Getting to see Bakugo in possession of One For All is all I ever wanted. I believe that the reason it didn't fully transfer was because he didn't truly WANT to take it. He had no choice in the moment, but he doesn't want to take Deku's dreams away or gain that power in an undeserved way. He would have accepted it from All Might from that start if he had been chosen by him, but to have Deku hand it over in desperation is not something he would want.

1:23:32 What I love about this moment here is that, the whole show and this whole movie, we've not only been told but shown the main difference between Deku and Bakugo's philosophies as heroes; Deku will always prioritize the lives of others rather than fight a villain, and Bakugo is always, _always_ ready to beat some ass in order to win. But in this moment, it's Deku that goes on the offensive and Bakugo who jumps in to save the girl before she falls.
It's another example of how when they desperately need to pull out a victory, they start embodying each other. We've seen Deku during the series start talking like Bakugo during tough fights, and we saw Bakugo move to save Deku without thinking during their fight with Shigi in Season 6. It really shows just how much they mean to each other as rivals and inspirations for one another.
Shiggy really pulled a Highlander reference. "There can be only one"
Nine's voice actor is one of my favorites of all time, and i've only heard him here in this movie and in the Sword Art Online movie, Ordinal Scale. i dont care that i've only heard him twice, i fucking LOVE the silky smooth evil villain voice he has it just scratches an itch in my brain so fucking well
also its a really minor little scene, but deku counting well into the THOUSANDS of reps on his kicks shows just how insanely dedicated he is to his training. i challenge anyone who reads this to do even 100 of those roundhouses as if you were GENUINELY trying to kick someone hard enough to disable, that shit is HARD. and he has been doing thousands upon thousands of them probably every single day ever since he broke his arms in the Sports Fest. the kid is a fucking beast of determination and willpower, i respect him so much
Every time I watch Alicia react to my favorite anime moments, I just feel so validated, cause we have the exact same reaction... Which is usually crying XD

the animation for the final battle was done by yutaka nakamura (veteran animator) he also did the final battle in the first movie. He also did a few cuts in mob psycho and one punch man.
i agree in the first movie the class was there but more or less a cameo a lot of them didn't even know what was happening on the island. Here they are all involved all contributing, all doing things
This MHA movie is my fav for 2 reasons 1. The resemblance of katsuma and deku shows anyone can make their dreams come true and 2. The animation on the Deku and bakugo vs nine was awesome and Might+U such a beautiful song great reaction Alicia love it 💖😊

That's obvious since the live action reaction episodes are getting only half the like the anime reaction usually get so she promised ONE PIECE ANIME everyday as soon as we reach 2k likes per reaction video so she kinda broke the promise that way by playing the live action instead and the live action episodes shouldn't count with the challenge
its so insane to think that there werent even any pro heroes there. the only people that were fighting were class 1A and they defeated all of these powerful ass villians. Class 1A is so much more capable than any other class istg. Like these 1st year teenagers did all of this without any help from the pro heroes
I know you had to cut it out because of copyright, but damn is it sad that you had to cut Deku saying thanks to one for all. That truly just shows that Deku knows that without one for all he would have never come as far as he is and that he was so grateful that to that power. Its truly an emotional scene
Edit: Also the fact you didnt realise that what Deku says to Katsuma at the ending, was exaclty what All Might told Deku when he wanted Deku to be his succesor is kind of crazy 😂

I knew you were gonna love this one and couldn't wait for this video! The themes, the kids, the character spotlights, the INSANE fight scenes; everything about this movie is incredibly Alicia-core lol. Easily my favorite of the MHA movies and it's not close.
I always wonder if when they made the plan for Ashido and Tokoyami to fight Slice in the cave if anyone said "and at some point Mina will get hurt and then Darkshadow will go ape**** and wreck her"

If you want another anime that makes good use of 3dcg, but also puts a young cast through HELL, 86 is glorious quality. Pain, narrative, mech battle, and so much more PAIN.
I adore that this movie highlights various facets of superheroics beyond just wailing on the bad guy. There's countless ways to help people out in their everyday lives. It's why Superman rescues cats out of trees. No problem is too small for him. With 1A just helping people out before things get rough, it shows humility and compassion. It also gives everyone things to do. Some may get to shine more, but all get to shine as young superheroes.
Eh, Season 6 could have gone a bit harder in a select few points for my narrative tastes. Emotional taste though, whoof, that was a lot. And 7 is looking to also be rough.
Bakugo, you may be ill suited to non combat heroics, but get your lazy rear off the floor before you get marked with an F for this class project!

We knew ever since USJ that Mineta had potential with his quirk. The biggest limitation on his power is himself. And admittedly less so over time, but he's still an annoying lech.

If Ashido is on the team, "smart girl squad" immediately goes out the window. To be sure she's talented, confident, and powerful... but her INT stat is the second lowest in the class by a fair margin.

Yeah, I'll get on Bakugo's case for his bad disposition when he's doing search and rescue, and for not pitching in with the day to day stuff that is the expected bulk of the class assignment, but if there IS a villain that needs stopping, having him not go over there in attack mode is just being irresponsible and wasteful.
9 doesn't even have a fraction of the sheer number of stockpiled quirks that AFO has, not that he's not even able to with his limits on both storing and supporting the quirks he's stolen, but he's making excellent use of the ones he does have. Makes a good comparison with OFA actually in that sense, albeit 9 is running with a choice selection of top notch quirks instead of several utility ones that have just been juiced by subsequent heirs building up the power. He also showcases the unsustainability of OFA. That much power is hard to adapt to, there are numerous factors to juggle with multiple quirks, and if you do have a quirk naturally, your body will break under the added abilities you're not built to handle.
9 is probably closest in ideology to the metahuman liberation army before Shiggy took that over, but 9 leans more towards anarchy while the MHL leaned towards drooling over dystopia.

Still some of my favorite anime movies. This is one of the first anime movies I watched in theaters, and it’s an Experience. Joining with a bunch of other fans as we laughed, cheared, cried, and unanimously said plus ultra and smash in unison was so cool and an experience never forget.

I love that the only way for Bakugo to be on Dekus level was for him to give him ofa.
Imo this movie was peak because ALL of Class 1A was involved and contributed to the battles and rescues

MHA Creator loves Marvel Comics. Many of his characters are gender flipped/alignment flipped versions of marvel characters. Such as Froppy being a female frog heroine version of X-Men villain Toad. NINE is actually a male villain version of Storm of the X-Men.
They really said "No one gives a fuck about Invisible Girl, Sugar Rush, or Anima," I get it, but it's fucking brutal to be the only ones not doing a fucking thing this movie.
Even Tailman was in that final fight, and Tailman sucks. They shoved those 3 in a cave.

To be fair Water 7/Enies Lobby caused a lot of emotional damage. She may need a breather after that. When I watched OP for the first time I had to take breaks to cool off after. High emotional arcs. After Thriller Bark WE ALL KNOW WHATS COMING....a little lighter stuff may be needed.

@@GabrielRojasAhumada i think there was manga tie-in to movie where after doctor agreed to make Shigaraki more powerful (aka end of meta liberation army arc) he asked for one last favor (aka cargo at beginning of movie)
@@GabrielRojasAhumada Deku didn't use it because if it is before endeavor agency arc he didn't master it yet. Also i think Horikoshi didn't want to spoil blackwhip before season 5

Another banger reaction 😊 thank you for reacting to mha movies. This might be the most anticipated movie of mha. But I'll say movie 3 is better, it has a more emotional impact and have a better animation but the villain is a little bit weaker compared to the hero rising but the emotion in the ending is stronger. I bet you would love the new character there.
Dude, I'm sorry, but the animation in the third film really doesn't even hold a candle to it, nor does the final scene of 100%. And the animation is much more punctual, the kind where you remember specifically which scenes have good animation, because not everything is good, the vast majority of it is very average. And the fights of the secondary characters are pretty much whatever in this film, and the only emotional point is that of the character's little bird, whose name I don't even remember, it's really hurt. And there isn't even the sense of sacrifice like in the second one, with the character in the third one being pretty whatever. The first and second films, I see very well as a reason for them to exist, and they fit perfectly, but the third seems like it only exists for the sake of existing, and brings nothing new, and not even good. I hope the fourth one can bring something interesting, but from the trailers it also looks like it will have the same level of animation as the third one, and the same boring script. Sorry to talk so much
