PWM and a variable controllable duty cycle does not necessarily have to be computer controlled or associated with a computer. You are incorrect on that point. You can create a multivibrator with adjustable frequency and duty cycle using a 555 time chip without the use of any digital electronics or computer.
Thank you for your input. You are right on this matter. I am not familiar with circuit design. Here i tried to explain automotive diagnostics on PWM. In the automotive system mostly PWM generate in a controller module. Because it consider input Data and process them to output right duty cycle.
