@@Cnupoc To be honest I as a battleship player wouldn't complain much. I would just get close to that Graf Zeppelin and fuck up with my main guns what Graf Zeppelin's secondaries cannot reach. And also I would draw some of the damage my way in order to make that Graf Zeppelin survive longer.

Fun fact a number of Carrier's were simply flat tops on top of what was a cruiser or in a few cases Battleship Hulls. Midway ironically is a Montana in Disguise even though she was built from the ground up as a carrier she has design influences that was to be used on the Montana Class Battleship.

I believe the earliest British CVs were converted from light cruiser hulls (the Courageous-class), and of course the Amagi we have in-game began life as an actual battlecruiser before the 1920s naval treaties made further construction impossible. It was meant to be converted to an aircraft carrier IRL, but was heavily damaged during the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 and ended up being scrapped. Its sister ship, the Akagi, did finish conversion and went on to have quite an active career in WWII. And I believe Graf Zeppelin was a converted ocean liner?

@@Sonlirain 2 ships in a line that weren't built is one thing, but an *entire* line? Even the RU BB line had a couple of real ships, even if they were only up to t4. Also the FDG (H-39) was laid down, but never finished construction, so it's not quite as bad as a purely blueprint ship. That said, at least it's a purely fiction German CV line rather than a Russian one.
@@Drache191200 Not really complaining, in fact I'm curious about how they will do and whether they will actually be good. I just find it strange that they have decided to make a German CV line before for example an Italian BB or DD line, a USN BB line split, a RN BC line, stuff that actually existed and people are asking for, rather than stuff they are pulling out their ass. Also it's partially getting tired of the blueprint ships that WG has released over the last year and has in development, especially a new CV line with new mechanics when most of the current CVs are already pretty broken and WG doesn't seem to notice or care.
@@aceorcusham2870 The irony is that the Lexy cant win a sec fight because she is in her late 30ties retrofit config. Originally she had 4x2x203mm guns infront and behind the island which ware later replaced by 128mm dual purpose gun mounts (which are useless in this game). What is even more stupid is that this is not Lexington , that is late war Saratoga retrofit. Lexi never got them as she got sunk pre-Midway (she only had AA mounts).
Funny thing, this is more or less how germany envisioned the graf working. Her air group would scout and soften escorts, then she would close and finish the convoy with guns. Its why she has such a strong "secondary" battery, it was a main.
@@ronaldthompson4989 Not really... Her air group (consisting of Ju87 divebombers, Bf-109 fighters and Fi-167 topedobombers) would be her primary offensive weapon (just like any other carrier). Germans never really thought: "Hey, let's slap secondaries on it so we can go on the offensive with them" (maybe some thought so but it wasn't how they envisioned the Zep)... They knew the threat surface ships could pose to the Graf Zeppelin so that's why they gave her the secondaries, so that She wouldn't be helpless. You don't want to have your carriers be spotted in the first place, so why would they suddenly go like: "Hey, why not use this ship as a battlecarrier!!"? They just knew that having the Zep be spotted at some point is inevitable, so they gave her the defensive capability in case she came under attack.

Have to love the realism of carriers in this game. Just like real life, they sink battleships with their secondary weapons while their aircraft are just a nuisance.

The Ta-152 C1/R14, which is the plane in the game, was an actual study of a torpedobomber version, but I very much doubt it could have been carrier-borne.

To be absolutely fair, the Ta-152 had a fighter bomber/torpedo bomber version studied and I think prototyped too. That being said, we are talking about Uncle Adi's air force, he sort of forced ground attack versions into every fighter project ever.
"Drive Me Closer, I Want To Hit Them With My Sword" actually happened in World War II when the Imperial Japanese Submarine I-1 was attacked on the surface (while towing barges) by two allied corvettes. They had a problem: their 4" shells tended to bounce off the I-1's upper-deck armor (yes, it had armor) so one of the corvettes (Kiwi) rammed I-1. Three times. Third time, an angry officer tried to jump on the corvette's deck, sword and all, trying to slice a few kiwis. He was a third-dan kendo master, it seems.
Before the reworks took away her 200mm AP, i did something similar with Kaga (using islands instead of DDs) that was the day i discovered a heavy-ish belt, below the waterline citadel, and 5 200mm guns can defeat a full health battleship when he trades broadsides from 4km XD Too bad shes spitting HE now

Those destroyers smoke screens where exactly amazing. They anticipated and reacted to the enemy movement to a level I've never been able to in a long range Japanese destroyer. I've learned a lot from them. Thanks!
That version actually isn't the high altitude version but the more general C version that doesn't have the high altitude optimised wings. It still wouldn't be serviceable on a carrier, no way they could land on it. The C version was build as a "Zerstörer", a heavily armed fighter to fight bombers at lower altitudes.
@@SuperLusername The C Model could still shoot down B17s or B24s quite well but the H model was meant for the B29s and other extreme altitude Bombers that they probably didnt know of but were expecting.

Well, I can understand wargaming not using the Stuka for the Graf Zeppelin's bombers. They're so dreadfully slow they'd be completely inadequate for a tier 8 carrier, where their competition consists of Helldivers and Spearfish. However all of their other dive & torpedo bombers were big twin-engine aircraft like the Ju 88. the only other design that could reasonably fit on a carrier would have been the cancelled Ju 187, and those wouldn't have even been a significant improvement over the Stuka. Anyway, it's not the only time Wargaming have pressed an interceptor into service as a naval bomber to fill a gap in the tech tree. They did the same thing with the ludicrously big J5N Tenrai on Hakuryu.
The ship was never completed in real life. The secondary guns were diverted for coastal defense and the ship spent most of its time as lumber storage. Germany lacked any dedicated carrier aircraft designs so the plan was to convert JU 87's and BF 109's for carrier use but it never got that far.

No, Jingles is right. There is no increase in detection range from firing your secondary batteries or anti aircraft gun inside smoke screen, only main gun do. It's entirely possible, there are hundreds of videos on this channel alone that show it. Instead though some us whine like little children the CV and destroyers weren't doing their job. to be fair, this is an impressive amount of numbers for the carrier, but it came at the cost of the team effectively not having two destroyers availible because they were mostly stuck keeping the carrier alive instead of for example capturing points, denying area etc. A bit like riding 4 battleships down the canal on two brothers, killing a few ships and then wondering why the team lost anyway, not noticing the fact that the team just threw away 4 battleships worth of firepower and area control.
Contesting caps in a carrier game = dead destroyers. There where 9 other players on the team and maybe if they had achieved anything between the 9 of them it would have been a win.
With the lack of CV and DD spotting no wonder "Dave's" team lost map and cap control and ultimately the game. This is a classic example of "don't tell me how to play, I'm too busy padding my stats" selfish gameplay, but we really need to blame WG for making it a thing and not fully understanding their own game to prevent it.
@@andrewpulda7969 Right because teams are notorious for always shooting targets DD's spot or supporting them when they cap /s oh right no they sail behind an island and sit there unable to shoot anything a DD in a cap spots 99% of the time.
@@andrewpulda7969 You can say that, but at the same time if a CV with a troll build that would usually get killed in the first 5 minutes got 330k damage and 5 kills while the rest of the team got 4 kills between them (including 0 kills for his team at the A cap, which was a 3v3 with little to no aircraft support from the enemy team) then I don't think we can say it is entirely at the hands of the CV and his DD division. Call it being selfish, but doing an ass-ton of damage still helps the team too.
Jingles!!!! TA152C was the low-medium altitude fighter version. So actually it checks out. The only produced versions were the H models which had a larger wing for high altitude interception The Stukas were far too slow even in 1940 and at T8 it would be like a T6 plane at best
Keep in mind, this is a hella impressive damage number, but its essentially 3 ships damage number combined because the 2 destroyers didnt do nearly anything but keep him alive that game
@Somarik Green If you watch the mini-map, you can see some extraordinarily bad play by the other members of the team. Especially around the A cap where three BBs dive into a crossfire sequentially. The Gneiseneau also drove into a crowd of enemies and paid for it.
@Somarik Green I have to disagree. He kept half the enemy team bottled up for the most part in one corner of the map and picked them off one by one. His team should have pushed the caps behind him, instead they fed.
near impossible to do so since you have to switch targets while also sailing the graf zeppelin manually across the smokes. The autopilot simply is not previse enough to do that for you
@@siriusczech No you really dont have enough time to do that while you are executing this strategy. you cant use the autopilot for it as the maneuvers need to be much more precise. If you are sitting still in the smoke you also running the risk of torpedoes which you cant dodge even with hydro as you need to start accelerating. Also back when we were doing this, manual Secondaries was a skill which required you to select targets for the secondaries and you could also not do that while flying. Siliwangi is the much better choice as you can continuously move non stop. In this game I was just luck that not a whole lot of torps were thrown into the smoke. So all in all you can barely use your planes as you have to constantly maneuver and pay attention to the smallest details. We played this for 24 hours straight (about 70 games in total) and perfecting it and all I can say is that you have very very limited time on your planes.
@@TheBaBySiTteR90 ok, if you say so, you have more experience than I do, but I would definitely try sticking secondaries to a target, set ship to stop, fly out, dropped dive bombers/fighters/torps, recalled planes and went on with this strat. Kudos to you, it was hell of a fun. What I would also think to be really good to play along would be Haida+Sims/Benson with her crawling smoke, I just don´t know if you would fit, but man, this would have been a nightmarish combo, too. I would be happy to see/play it there.
@@siriusczech you dont want to do that, since you cant keep moving. The tactic got much more refined when we did the 24hour live stream. you are constantly moving with 2 siliwangies. you never need to stop. that way you can chase down enemies and reliably dodge any torps. Since torps are the main issue if you are stationary inside a smoke. Even with hydro graf zeppelin is to sluggish and can accelerate out of the torps way in most cases. So no you don't really have time for that. And as you saw in this replay, we had 2 minute smokes and there was still to much stuff to do in the majority of the time. since you have to plan that once you start a strike, you cant maneuver or change targets for the next 30 seconds which is usually not really feasible, especially if you are firing at max range and have to constantly change targets

This replay proves exactly why players cannot just bugger off, ignore objectives and do absolutely nothing to contribute to the win. If those DDs and CV were on my team I would be as frustrated as fck. Yeah sure, the CV did damage and got kills, but since the DDs bots spent the entire battle nursing him and doing nothing else, they lost. Very poor play from the division.

@@maviba afk? they were conquering the centre of the map! the rest of the team could ahve flanked around. the carrier wass fine and gunning down everyone who tried to get near him so the rest of the team instead of staying back and watching him die could have put the enemy into a crossfire.

His Team at A was completely blind because 2 of 3 DDs were just busy smoking up a CV who's only interested in farming secondary damage, while the enemy team there actually had a DD there plus a CV supporting his team. So how are they supposed to flank a side without any support if they're outnumbered there? GZ didn't even bother spotting for them. So yes, 3 of the most important ships were prety useless for the team becaus this divi let them down. They didn't even manage keeping C although 2 DD and a CV were there, and yes, they lost his team the game.

Awwwwwwww I wanted an actual carrier replay! Graf Zeppelin is just a cruiser with planes! In this video he barely used any planes at all. Literally just use a light cruiser with smoke! I want to see a Hakuryu or Midway game.
The really sick thing is that the two destroyers did basically DICK all game... and still finished 4th and 6th on the scoreboard. 2nd on the scoreboard was the BB hiding behind the carrier. This was a hell of a team!
They did cap C and their division had just one member score 330k dmg in tier 8 game on top of AA defense expert. The 2 division DDs could have been AFK and the rest of the team would have had no excuse to lose.
This battle perfectly shows how to farm a lot of dmg and xp while you are totally useless to your team, and because you your team fight actually a 12v9... But you still farm enough to end of the top and looks like someone who were useful.. This is the problem with Ranked star saving system too...

Actually Jingles the Ta-152H was the supercharged big wing high altitude fighter. The C was a design for the low altitude clipped wing version that they were planning to use as a fighter bomber
Tons of damage sure but pretty much ensuring it would be a loss with the 2 DDs basically doing nothing but smoking for him. Not the sort of people you'd want to get on your team, but this probably isn't something that they do a lot.

to be honest, they might have good damage and xp and it was fun. but the loss of spotting and map control from the 2 classes that provide it the most means they probably did cause the loss. Look at other games where 1 flank has no spotting or dd and the enemy team does, most of the time they will lose that flank. the game isn't just about damage and kills. a dd can be MVP in a match with 0 damage and 5 caps, but only get like 500 base xp the scoring systems is fucked up, as is the whole game right now
@@powrapter Yup, this is basically swapping a CV and 2 DDs, so a ton of spotting, capping and harassing, for a hard-to-sink secondary monster. It's an impressive combo, but not that hard to counter (run away, torp the smokescreen).
@jingles you were right about the ta152 to be desinged to be a high alt. interceptor/fighter, but you refare to the h variante.I do not know the exact model they use in warships(mostlikly a 1 or 3), but the wingspan is that of the c variant that was duped distroyer in german and was able to carry a 500kg bomb

C variant of TA-152 was designed as a low altitude version of the high altitude fighter/interceptor TA-152H. Notice that it has shorter and thicker wings unlike model H.

Fun fact a number of Carrier's were simply flat tops on top of what was a cruiser or in a few cases Battleship Hulls. Midway ironically is a Montana in Disguise even though she was built from the ground up as a carrier she has design influences that was to be used on the Montana Class Battleship.

I believe the earliest British CVs were converted from light cruiser hulls (the Courageous-class), and of course the Amagi we have in-game began life as an actual battlecruiser before the 1920s naval treaties made further construction impossible. It was meant to be converted to an aircraft carrier IRL, but was heavily damaged during the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 and ended up being scrapped. Its sister ship, the Akagi, did finish conversion and went on to have quite an active career in WWII.

Also the FDG (H-39) was laid down, but never finished construction, so it's not quite as bad as a purely blueprint ship.
That said, at least it's a purely fiction German CV line rather than a Russian one.

I just find it strange that they have decided to make a German CV line before for example an Italian BB or DD line, a USN BB line split, a RN BC line, stuff that actually existed and people are asking for, rather than stuff they are pulling out their ass. Also it's partially getting tired of the blueprint ships that WG has released over the last year and has in development, especially a new CV line with new mechanics when most of the current CVs are already pretty broken and WG doesn't seem to notice or care.

Originally she had 4x2x203mm guns infront and behind the island which ware later replaced by 128mm dual purpose gun mounts (which are useless in this game). What is even more stupid is that this is not Lexington , that is late war Saratoga retrofit. Lexi never got them as she got sunk pre-Midway (she only had AA mounts).

Funny thing, this is more or less how germany envisioned the graf working. Her air group would scout and soften escorts, then she would close and finish the convoy with guns. Its why she has such a strong "secondary" battery, it was a main.
@@ronaldthompson4989 Not really... Her air group (consisting of Ju87 divebombers, Bf-109 fighters and Fi-167 topedobombers) would be her primary offensive weapon (just like any other carrier).
Germans never really thought: "Hey, let's slap secondaries on it so we can go on the offensive with them" (maybe some thought so but it wasn't how they envisioned the Zep)...
They knew the threat surface ships could pose to the Graf Zeppelin so that's why they gave her the secondaries, so that She wouldn't be helpless.
You don't want to have your carriers be spotted in the first place, so why would they suddenly go like: "Hey, why not use this ship as a battlecarrier!!"?
They just knew that having the Zep be spotted at some point is inevitable, so they gave her the defensive capability in case she came under attack.

The Ta-152 C1/R14, which is the plane in the game, was an actual study of a torpedobomber version, but I very much doubt it could have been carrier-borne.

When I saw the Triple Amalfi division I thought I'd seen everything. My hat goes off to people who have the imagination for this crap.
"Drive Me Closer, I Want To Hit Them With My Sword" actually happened in World War II when the Imperial Japanese Submarine I-1 was attacked on the surface (while towing barges) by two allied corvettes. They had a problem: their 4" shells tended to bounce off the I-1's upper-deck armor (yes, it had armor) so one of the corvettes (Kiwi) rammed I-1. Three times. Third time, an angry officer tried to jump on the corvette's deck, sword and all, trying to slice a few kiwis. He was a third-dan kendo master, it seems.
The only clip that has managed to have me start pissing myself laughing reading the title and before the video has even loaded. Thanks Jingles!

Those destroyers smoke screens where exactly amazing. They anticipated and reacted to the enemy movement to a level I've never been able to in a long range Japanese destroyer. I've learned a lot from them. Thanks!
That version actually isn't the high altitude version but the more general C version that doesn't have the high altitude optimised wings. It still wouldn't be serviceable on a carrier, no way they could land on it. The C version was build as a "Zerstörer", a heavily armed fighter to fight bombers at lower altitudes.

@@SuperLusername The C Model could still shoot down B17s or B24s quite well but the H model was meant for the B29s and other extreme altitude Bombers that they probably didnt know of but were expecting.

Well, I can understand wargaming not using the Stuka for the Graf Zeppelin's bombers. They're so dreadfully slow they'd be completely inadequate for a tier 8 carrier, where their competition consists of Helldivers and Spearfish. However all of their other dive & torpedo bombers were big twin-engine aircraft like the Ju 88. the only other design that could reasonably fit on a carrier would have been the cancelled Ju 187, and those wouldn't have even been a significant improvement over the Stuka.
Anyway, it's not the only time Wargaming have pressed an interceptor into service as a naval bomber to fill a gap in the tech tree. They did the same thing with the ludicrously big J5N Tenrai on Hakuryu.
The ship was never completed in real life. The secondary guns were diverted for coastal defense and the ship spent most of its time as lumber storage. Germany lacked any dedicated carrier aircraft designs so the plan was to convert JU 87's and BF 109's for carrier use but it never got that far.
actually jingles, the old RTS graf zeppelin had ju-87s as bomber and torpedobomber and me-109T s as fighters, but they changed it with the cv-rework

No, Jingles is right. There is no increase in detection range from firing your secondary batteries or anti aircraft gun inside smoke screen, only main gun do. You can see the circle also not increasing even a pixel when the secondary gun start firing.

The navigator pokes his head out and reports, the torpedo officer "orders what is perceived to be an attempt to capture the boat beaten back. A reserve gun crew is sent up [with carbines] and all officers fetch their swords." You can tell where this is going, no? Her 4" shells keep bouncing off I-1's armor so Kiwi comes in and rams again, in the course of which "I-1's navigator (a Kendo 3rd dan swordsman) grabs KIWI’s upper deck rail and attempts to board her, but is thrown overboard when the corvette recoils."
This all ended with a third ramming by Kiwi as Moa's four-inch shells kept bouncing off ("several shells are deflected by submarine's upper hull armor").

Jingles, the aircraft shown is a Ta-152C. It was a medium to low altitude fighter/fighter bomber. The Ta-152H was the high altitude interceptor; characterized by its way bigger wingspan.

to be fair, this is an impressive amount of numbers for the carrier, but it came at the cost of the team effectively not having two destroyers availible because they were mostly stuck keeping the carrier alive instead of for example capturing points, denying area etc.
A bit like riding 4 battleships down the canal on two brothers, killing a few ships and then wondering why the team lost anyway, not noticing the fact that the team just threw away 4 battleships worth of firepower and area control.
Instead of contesting the caps those two destroyers only focused on hiding a aircraft carrier. Can that be one reason why the match was lost...

Contesting caps in a carrier game = dead destroyers. There where 9 other players on the team and maybe if they had achieved anything between the 9 of them it would have been a win.
With the lack of CV and DD spotting no wonder "Dave's" team lost map and cap control and ultimately the game. This is a classic example of "don't tell me how to play, I'm too busy padding my stats" selfish gameplay, but we really need to blame WG for making it a thing and not fully understanding their own game to prevent it.

@@andrewpulda7969 You can say that, but at the same time if a CV with a troll build that would usually get killed in the first 5 minutes got 330k damage and 5 kills while the rest of the team got 4 kills between them (including 0 kills for his team at the A cap, which was a 3v3 with little to no aircraft support from the enemy team) then I don't think we can say it is entirely at the hands of the CV and his DD division.
Call it being selfish, but doing an ass-ton of damage still helps the team too.

The only produced versions were the H models which had a larger wing for high altitude interception

Keep in mind, this is a hella impressive damage number, but its essentially 3 ships damage number combined because the 2 destroyers didnt do nearly anything but keep him alive that game

@Somarik Green If you watch the mini-map, you can see some extraordinarily bad play by the other members of the team. Especially around the A cap where three BBs dive into a crossfire sequentially. The Gneiseneau also drove into a crowd of enemies and paid for it.
@Somarik Green I have to disagree. He kept half the enemy team bottled up for the most part in one corner of the map and picked them off one by one. His team should have pushed the caps behind him, instead they fed.

near impossible to do so since you have to switch targets while also sailing the graf zeppelin manually across the smokes. The autopilot simply is not previse enough to do that for you

@@siriusczech No you really dont have enough time to do that while you are executing this strategy. you cant use the autopilot for it as the maneuvers need to be much more precise. If you are sitting still in the smoke you also running the risk of torpedoes which you cant dodge even with hydro as you need to start accelerating. Also back when we were doing this, manual Secondaries was a skill which required you to select targets for the secondaries and you could also not do that while flying. Siliwangi is the much better choice as you can continuously move non stop. In this game I was just luck that not a whole lot of torps were thrown into the smoke. So all in all you can barely use your planes as you have to constantly maneuver and pay attention to the smallest details. We played this for 24 hours straight (about 70 games in total) and perfecting it and all I can say is that you have very very limited time on your planes.
@@TheBaBySiTteR90 ok, if you say so, you have more experience than I do, but I would definitely try sticking secondaries to a target, set ship to stop, fly out, dropped dive bombers/fighters/torps, recalled planes and went on with this strat.
Kudos to you, it was hell of a fun. What I would also think to be really good to play along would be Haida+Sims/Benson with her crawling smoke, I just don´t know if you would fit, but man, this would have been a nightmarish combo, too.

@@siriusczech you dont want to do that, since you cant keep moving. The tactic got much more refined when we did the 24hour live stream. you are constantly moving with 2 siliwangies. you never need to stop. that way you can chase down enemies and reliably dodge any torps. Since torps are the main issue if you are stationary inside a smoke. Even with hydro graf zeppelin is to sluggish and can accelerate out of the torps way in most cases. So no you don't really have time for that. And as you saw in this replay, we had 2 minute smokes and there was still to much stuff to do in the majority of the time. since you have to plan that once you start a strike, you cant maneuver or change targets for the next 30 seconds which is usually not really feasible, especially if you are firing at max range and have to constantly change targets

This replay proves exactly why players cannot just bugger off, ignore objectives and do absolutely nothing to contribute to the win. If those DDs and CV were on my team I would be as frustrated as fck. Yeah sure, the CV did damage and got kills, but since the DDs bots spent the entire battle nursing him and doing nothing else, they lost. Very poor play from the division.
Well I am sure they had a great time, but yes the rest of the team got shafted to facilitate it.
I agree wholeheartedly. This selfish shit is just that selfish. I probably would've spent every daily poor play / unsupporting behavior report on those three.

@@maviba afk? they were conquering the centre of the map! the rest of the team could ahve flanked around. the carrier wass fine and gunning down everyone who tried to get near him so the rest of the team instead of staying back and watching him die could have put the enemy into a crossfire.
@@friedwaldderlebendige8494 The center was conqered by the enemy pretty fast and this divi didn't do shit in order to prevent this.
His Team at A was completely blind because 2 of 3 DDs were just busy smoking up a CV who's only interested in farming secondary damage, while the enemy team there actually had a DD there plus a CV supporting his team.
So how are they supposed to flank a side without any support if they're outnumbered there? GZ didn't even bother spotting for them.
So yes, 3 of the most important ships were prety useless for the team becaus this divi let them down. They didn't even manage keeping C although 2 DD and a CV were there,
and yes, they lost his team the game.
@@maviba they certainly could have been more effective but you can say the same thing about the rest of the team. they should have been a lot more aggressive. i agree with you on one thing, the cv should have been using his aircraft to spot and kill the destroyers
Drachinifel did note that with that heavy antisurface battery of six-inch guns and a rather anemic air group, the Graf Zeppelin made a better light cruiser than an aircraft carrier...
Awwwwwwww I wanted an actual carrier replay! Graf Zeppelin is just a cruiser with planes! In this video he barely used any planes at all. Literally just use a light cruiser with smoke!

they lost cz there were no DDs to cap, oh no, there were 2 DDs in a certain Div, wonder what the hell were they doing ???
I play DD if your in a carrier game going into cap = dead in 30 seconds or less.
The really sick thing is that the two destroyers did basically DICK all game... and still finished 4th and 6th on the scoreboard.
2nd on the scoreboard was the BB hiding behind the carrier.
This was a hell of a team!
They did cap C and their division had just one member score 330k dmg in tier 8 game on top of AA defense expert. The 2 division DDs could have been AFK and the rest of the team would have had no excuse to lose.

That was unbelievable and a lot of fun to watch.
This battle perfectly shows how to farm a lot of dmg and xp while you are totally useless to your team, and because you your team fight actually a 12v9... But you still farm enough to end of the top and looks like someone who were useful.. This is the problem with Ranked star saving system too...

@@StArShIpEnTeRpRiSe how did the guy break the EULA? He's not being passive, he's not killing team mates (or atleast I haven't noticed) he's not giving kills to the enemy. He's not playing the carrier as is normal, but that doesn't mean he can't do that.
Not all people play games to win, there's also people who just wanna have fun.
Actually Jingles the Ta-152H was the supercharged big wing high altitude fighter. The C was a design for the low altitude clipped wing version that they were planning to use as a fighter bomber
Tons of damage sure but pretty much ensuring it would be a loss with the 2 DDs basically doing nothing but smoking for him. Not the sort of people you'd want to get on your team, but this probably isn't something that they do a lot.
Still, 330k damage divided by 3 is perfectly decent, as is the about 2700 combined base experience.
I thought the same. But if you check the end-screen: both DDs are in the better half of his team, so.... it really was his team, that lost him the game.

to be honest, they might have good damage and xp and it was fun. but the loss of spotting and map control from the 2 classes that provide it the most means they probably did cause the loss.
Look at other games where 1 flank has no spotting or dd and the enemy team does, most of the time they will lose that flank. the game isn't just about damage and kills. a dd can be MVP in a match with 0 damage and 5 caps, but only get like 500 base xp
the scoring systems is fucked up, as is the whole game right now
@@powrapter Yup, this is basically swapping a CV and 2 DDs, so a ton of spotting, capping and harassing, for a hard-to-sink secondary monster.
It's an impressive combo, but not that hard to counter (run away, torp the smokescreen).
@jingles you were right about the ta152 to be desinged to be a high alt. interceptor/fighter, but you refare to the h variante.I do not know the exact model they use in warships(mostlikly a 1 or 3), but the wingspan is that of the c variant that was duped distroyer in german and was able to carry a 500kg bomb

C variant of TA-152 was designed as a low altitude version of the high altitude fighter/interceptor TA-152H. Notice that it has shorter and thicker wings unlike model H.
