The biggest collection on American airborne troops during the battle of Normandy is at D-DAY EXPERIENCE in Saint-Côme-du-Mont.
For example, items that belonged to the Lieutenant Richard Winters who led the famous "Easy" Company are at the museum. As if that were not enough, guided by Emmanuel Allain, director of the museum, we will board a real C-47, converted into a flight simulator, to get an idea what it was like for the paratroopers ✈️
