Correct. Those who lived in Chinatown during that era would know. As a young kid, I would see him limping up and down East Broadway wearing all white and looking dapper in his blazer. Feared by many and respected by others. He is old now with a different aura. No one can win against time. Mike Moy
Good story on sun hop hing. I'd heard The kid who got shot went bad after his sister died at a sewing factory falling down an elevator ahaft. Thought the kid was called to a meeting and didn't go at first and then when he did show the tofu man killed him and got away with it on self defense. Glad rock n roll told the real story
In those days, the streets know more than the reporters and cops. 18 shot killing ruled by jury as self defense. The guy reloaded multiple times. Go figure.
