The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars for the NCU would be Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It brings together alot of videogame characters from alot of different studios like how Secret Wars will bring together alot of Marvel characters from different movie studios.
Yeah, that's a good point; Nintendo Secret Wars could be the key to other universe crossovers allowing for Castlevania, Metal Gear, Street Fighter and all the rest to bleed into the Nintendo world. They wouldn't even need to have actually made movies of those yet to show up...
@@afterthoughtarchives1035Phase 6 could even start with a Sonic movie similar to how MCU Phase 6 was going to start with Deadpool 3. Phase 5 could end with a Mario and Sonic crossover movie.
The easiest Nintendo movie to make would be Punch Out. Because... It's basically just Rocky, but with a short dude that nobody takes seriously. And then give Mike Tyson a cameo because why not? Edit: I think adapting specific games should not be a thing that happens. Just do entirely new stories. Except for Luigi's Mansion. That's fine.
From a cynical marketing perspective, I completely understand why Mario and Luigi are separated. Nintendo and Illumination are testing audience reactions to Luigi on his own. A lot of it is based in psychology. In February 2022, Charlie Day expressed interest in Luigi's Mansion after watching his son play it. Fast forward to March 2023 when the promotional material for the movie is in full swing. Day is now not only in favour of a Luigi movie but Chris Pratt talks about a "Nintendo Cinematic Universe" and specifically mentions Luigi's Mansion. Every review under the sun has complained about Luigi's screen time. Miyamoto and Meledandri are reading every single one and quoting the Hulk: "I see this as an absolute win". Couple that with videos, tweets, articles, comments, etc of how they're teasing Luigi's Mansion and there you go. People don't just want Mario and Luigi to go on an actual adventure together in the inevitable sequel. They want Luigi to have his own movie.
I think Zelda on IT'S OWN could be it's own universe. There's plenty of story, characters, land, to expound upon. The hyrulians to Zoras, to the Gorans to the Gerudos. Plenty of side quests to make storylines. I think the Ocarina of time story could be directed by Lucas or Spielberg

Kirby most family friendly is, well, not entirely true
6:04 And *SAMUS,* unlike ALL the others, has a large devout fanbase who'd be FURIOUS if Samus ends up being "too weak" in the movie.
It’s all going to lead up to a super smash bros movie👊🏻😎

Hard disagree with your thoughts on an EarthBound movie not working.
If we get a live action punch out Chris Pratt has to be the reff
Legend of Zelda -> Donkey Kong -> Metroid (Kirby cameo?) -> Mario (Kart?) 2 -> Smash Bros. (Kirby story)
