Mike you are the first person to mention the number of diamond cut twists per inch being less the higher you go up. That is a super valid point, I ordered the 4mm 18k 24” and just ordered 5mm 18k 24” . I don’t think I will go 6mm because there will be too few diamond cuts per inch. As for 14k vs 18k , I can tell the color difference right away . It’s worth getting just because alot of the 14k is finished in a higher purity and when the finish wears away you might think the chain looks beat. 18k is 18k and if finished in a higher purity and then it wears away , you still have that deep 18k color underneath. As for that super deep 22k color I am going Franco as it looks the best. I know you have to really spend because the Franco is dense. There are videos of 22k ropes and 22k Franco that will illustrate the difference.
Also wanted to mention that you really like gold chains and few people have your enthusiasm. You actually buy for the beauty of the craftsmanship and don’t always just buy the biggest mm . Your analysis of some of the chains getting beyond a certain mm for that style and loosing symmetry is spot on. Your heavy link video was an example of old vs new style was very helpful. I always look to get the biggest mm I can without the style of the chains starting to show gaps or look out of proportion. A chain I bought was the 7mm mariner 26” and it’s like a mirror. I would even say that you could go up to 9.5 or 10.5 mm without the mariner showing gaps.
I got the last oz pamp on Sunday and got mine today also! Good pick up brother!... got a 3.5 byzantine but not from Braden, I can't stand that pinched end caps on jacoje rope and byzantine, my byzantine has super chunky end caps and even my 7mm rope from Braden I had a local jewler put a barrel lock on it
Bro I've been looking at another chain and was looking on his website and then came to youtube to see if there was a review funny you were the first one hell yeah!
Nice video. Bro you have to be Jacoje favorite customer. I think you have a addiction. But hey, as long as you are enjoying the product. I am still wearing my 5mm rope d/c 22inch with Wing Pendant.
I ordered the 3mm D/C Franco 18k in 22inch and I'm wondering maybe if I should have picked this one up instead. I'd like to know your thoughts. Maybe I need to do the return and go for this.
@@TheTriedTruth I guess I'm going to have to figure it out tomorrow when it comes. Which one would you say is better for daily wear? I want something that I can sleep with.
My 4 mm heavy link 22k is some serious bling 63 grams is a lot from a small chain . Love my 22k more than my Franco 18k 28 inch my Franco is 123 grams with pendant it is 157 grams love it heavy
The longer I keep looking at chains or jewelry I realize I don’t really care of the size I mean size is a plus, but I’m more concern on the quality of the product.. I seen a lot a rope in my area and they are huge but I could see the quality is not there.. but most people they only care of the size.. but for me it’s more on the details 🤙😅
@@TheTriedTruth yeah it does look bigger in camera, but perfect size for like a everyday chain, or casual look kind.. and easy to pair it with pendant..
Definitely! In fact I'd recommend it 100% over the 5mm because the 5mm is only 3.75mm but the 4mm is truer to size,I wished I'd kept my 4mm 18k and never got the 5mm 18k

18k any day over 14k, i will never but 14k again, 14k now a day seems like 10k use feel like. 22k or 24k from now on. I will settle for 18k. 18k is the new 14k . 14k sucks

Nice. My stuff came into today as well. That's probably my next chain, or the 4mm. Now I'm going to upgrade my little franco to 18k, and my rope.
I also got a 5mm 18kt rope, its awesome. In my opinion 18kt is the way to go for Jacoje diamond cut Rope chains

Do you prefer the larger circular style lobster clasp or the type that come on HRC chains?
Thee vintage seems to work better for some chains like heavy links and figaros
I don’t mind the new style for larger chains
When are we going to see the tried truth collection video
Does 18k gold rope scratch with normal wear and tear? I’m in between with the 14k and 18k but I’m not sure about 18k scratching or getting beat up
You can’t really see scratches on the rope because of its design
