I mean Dr.Reese had the right to yell if she was upset and angry he was a monster and I don’t care if that’s not my place to judge cause he is!
Hannah Green but you have that job. Obligated to do something and you have limitations in work. In that case you don’t have the right to do that. Professional integrity 🙄
Exactly. I would have simply sacrificed my job and beat the smoking shit out of him.
if he wanted respect from this professional maybe he shouldn't have abused his little girl
Hannah Green..
That is why youd make a terrible doctor as you cannot allow your emotion to show when in the work area as its highly unprofessional
Dr Charles was right. Especially in profession like psychiatrist or psychology you cant behave like that and make your patients feeling as if your own. In the long run it will br harmful for herself.
JUST READ THE DAMN BOOK JEROME!!
Daniel Richardson NO IM NOT GOING TO DO IT ITS RIDICULOUS
Daniel Richardson I read this when they said it!
I am a banana same!!!!
DAMN YOU JEROME
@@meg_3079 SAME. AT THE EXACT TIME
When I watched this and Dr. Reese’s reaction, I feel like maybe something similar happened to her.
Mary Ann yeah I got that vibe too
Too queer to be here fangirling I can’t find anything on it though, but I definitely feel like something happened
Yeah also the other doctor (can't remember his name) said he isn't the one to be be yelling that he is not the one who hurt you
@Sophie Graham that doctor is our lord and savior dr charles!!!
@@aftonclubs thanks forgot his name for a minute lol
No one is going to mention how amazing the diagnosis was?
I mean seriously!
How did they cure her?
Unfortunately the only cure could be therapy or family support or maybe medication but I think no medication can fix this. She's traumatised so bad it'll be a long process but at least they found the source. Some come back but some don't. Most take years to recover. it's sad but it happens in some people's lives today. My cousin was recently traumatised when we were young saying she see's someone at night outside her window and it's a man that just stares at her. No one believed her. Come to find out it was the neighbour and because no one believed her.. One night he rapes her and soon made it a habit. She was so scared she became mute probly from all the threats he gave her. She's in a mental home now because she went over to her neighbours and stabbed him. He still lives tho because no one could prove this but I always believed her. Now she's violent to all men even her dad ever since what happened. One day I went to see her and for the first time in 7 years she said 'hey' I damn near almost cried.
@@ikweetgeennaam8839 When I read the title I thought they were really going to perform an exorcism (like a placebo effect)
It’s actually pretty easy :)
As soon as he said trauma and the dad refused to read the book, I was like: daddy issues
Even before that i was like bitch daddy issues
No, daddy issues is the father who doesnt say I love you enough or misses your school recital, so you need to rebel to get his attention. This is abuse.
“I guess we all have daddy issues” Luke from Percy jackson
That's not daddy issues
This is abuse
The actor who plays the father here is so superb.
Like, from the moment Dr. Charles says "possessed by her 6-year-old self", that guy knows EXACTLY what they're talking about and is instantly closing up because he KNOWS he's gonna be found to be the monster he is.
To get all of this through and make us, the audience, absolutely hate this character.... now that is acting!
I have a love-hate relationship with actors that can make me hate the character they're acting as, because every so often I'll find an actor and want to consume every piece of media they're in but the hatred I have for the character makes part of me not wanna watch
Dr reese looks increasingly numb during these episodes. Especially ones with abuse. Especially especially ones with the father being the abuser
I think something similar happened to her
I mean you’ve watched the clips with her dad right he’s a murderer
Trama
Her father was a serial killer, so who knows what she had witnessed or endured herself. I don't think they ever explored that fully.
The Dad did it. Not gonna say WHAT he did, but the way he denies crap.
Fiirst the dad wants logical explanation, then throws daughter under the bus when he's later denying logical explanation!! Sick bastard!
What was amazing about this part is that Dr. Charles managed to know exactly what was the book he needed from the gibberish mutters of the patient. Just wow!
Classic! PAtients and relatives are mostly deviants and crooks who use law to threaten and abuse medical professionals. When they get called out they use the broken and biased laws to cover up their tracks.
Wait why didn’t they get security to stop him or something?? Why was he allowed to just walk out after what he did?
I think it's because it was a theory. One true theory, but not one that can be proven in court. The victim is ill and traumatised and not fit enough to testify mentally. Therefore he's innocent in the courts eyes but guilty in ours.
He didnt do anything in that room lol you cant stop someone for refusing to read a poem. They are not police, they can’t detain a person based on suspicion.
I dont understand what did he do
It also wouldn’t stand in a court of law since there is a lack of evidence and the patient is unstable and defense can argue she isn’t credible as a witness. Also I’m not sure but potentially a statue of limitations could also apply
If it's a case where a child was sexually abused, the statue of limitations is when the victim turns 18. So he couldn't be arrested for his crimes because his victim is a legal adult.
Protect Sarah Reese at all cost! 💓💓
She’s my absolute favorite in the show!
This scenario started out with the mother believing that her child was possessed, feeling out of options and not knowing what to do, a rational woman made an irrational decision.
Originally led to believe that the father was in the right when in reality he was a monster of a human traumatizing the daughter.
Needless to say, all stories have two sides
The mother is just as awful for suspecting that yet "she din't want to believe" because that would make her life much easier
dll dll for some people, it's like standing on cracking thin ice and being terrified to put a foot down because you're scared you're going to fall into a whole bunch of cold hard misery. Or accuse him only to tear your marriage apart over nothing. It's not good, but it's human.
Or its just she didn't want it to be true because she couldn't fathom the idea that the father of her child would do that. Most time you want to believe that the people you love wouldn't hurt you or someone else you love, that they can't be the monster.
Ikr. Smh. No mother could believe the man they love and married make a baby with wouldnt hurt his own child.
She’s not just as awful honestly. But you’re right if she was suspecting she should have investigated further
@@frickbro yup agree! Even something as simple as setting up a camera to see what happens. Atleast you can figure out what's happening without disturbing your family
“ READ THE DAM BOOK, JEROME “
No! I'm not going to do it, it's redicilous!!!!
Their acting is on fleek👍🏼😊❤️
It really is.
nco_ x so true 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
For a second I thought Dr.Reese was gonna kill the old guy when she ran off
Malachi Mikaelson if only.....
@@shahida_a348 so you want her to be a killer? Damn
@@lotobloom9768 that also would make you a monster. Come on now
2 wrongs don't make a right. Remember that.
@@jugemujugemugokonosurikire4735 lmao of course it’s an anime pfp saying this
This actually happened to me when I was a child with my father and I felt so scared , and I wanted to die but I got through it , and I'm actually a psychologist now who specializes in this sort of stuff
So if anyone is going through this RN , remember don't give up !
Dr Reese is a fricking legend
God I hate that man!
HANG ON isn’t anyone seeing when he told Reese (Imma quote in summary) “you shouldn’t yell at him because she shouldn’t take out what happened to her on him” ? Does that mean Reese was raped herself?
yes... oh my god poor Sarah, I hope they explain what happened
Geekgirl Graham where did they say this???
Queen Angie omg he said he’s not the one who hurt you
Madison Playz yes I’m aware but he’s saying in summary that something happened to make her feel that way.
no the same thing did not happen to her however i believe is was at that moment she realized her father was a psychopath and was just trying to use her
Am i the only one who lives in australia and NBC isnt available this is the closest i will get...but foxtel now has chicago pd fire and now med but its only in season 1 ep 1 isnt even out yet
No, you're not alone,
SBS on demand has two epidsodes
We don’t have them in SA
Yo me too from aus so i just watch online
I'm pretty sure either 7 or 10 has Chicago med and fire now (at least in Brisbane)
"Just read the dam book Jerome" HAHAHAH idk why but this just got me
dr reese has the right to yell! he's a monster!
Sweet blossom 70 she has no right to yell because she’s supposed to be a professional. Yes even professional can have emotion but if it is to much for you to handle you are supposed to step back and let someone else do it. You should never let your own opinions on things go in your way when you are with a patient and if it does, like a said step back.
Straightaway I knew.
When Dr Reese mentioned traumatic events I knew straight away that son of a b**** had touched her.
That is *SICK!!!* How DARE he touch his *OWN DAUGHTER*
and I'm also beginning to think that something happened to Sarah too, her reaction was so... idk, but it's like she knew what it was like, in a way. She was insanely triggered and angry.
I knew that her dad did it from the moment he refused to read that book.
Dr reese's reactions always make me feel like she has been through such things as a kid .well only time will tell
2:48 Reese in action
Adeline Odei
reese mode activate
"How could you possibly know that's what's going on?"
Well for one that's Dr. Charles
As soon as she started muttering no no no I knew it was the dad and he's done stuff to her
The daughter is an amazing actor
When the dad refused to read the book and his attitude, I thought something was wrong, I would read a book if I had to. But he was trying to hide his past of what he did to his daughter, he should be locked up😕
They should get pd.. fire and med all on Netflix. Each one of them are so damn interesting and have unique perspectives.
I know its on prime video
Man! Apart from the thought provoking message this episode probably carries(I haven't watched it), there is a display of such great acting by all 5 of them in this clip... I don't know much about the show but this scene just shook me up! Very nicely shot. It succinctly develops and then towards the end, when the mother breaks down, leads to an explosion of emotions! A small critique however is how quickly the lady doctor let the man go in the elevator.... Was expecting more out of that part.
I love Chicago Med but it's not the same without Dr. Reese she needs to come back to the show
this scene, this episode,, i don’t know there’s something oddly poetic and tragic about it. I’d just love if this concept was turned into an actual book, describing in a cryptic poetic manner of the abuse and the suffering and the damned book and verses - not to mention another case in this episode was conjoined twins which have meaning behind it, the art in it is tragic and beautiful
Omg I love how dr Reese just ran in there wow
I miss Sarah so much she was may fav. character she was so good and she's so humble and cute and adorable why did writers took her off I have no idea I still miss her till today and Connor omg
i got goosebumps and chills
He could've catch these hands real quick
I feel like I relate to Dr Reese too much when it comes to mixing emotions with my job. My job sometimes requires a stone heart which I just do not have.
love the actors of doctors
*YOU GO REESE* ❤❤❤❤
I *LOVE* this show!!!! Also, *goosebumps*
Sami Boi
where can I find it ?!
Why are the best episodes just clips
Well this is one Hell of a diagnosis!
Leave a like for all doctors out there, doing amazing work!
This gave me goosebumps!😱😱😱😱😱
I love these and idk why
This clip went from 0 to 100 very quickly

The episode is called Devil in Disguise (Season 3, episode 15) for anyone who wants the whole episode
Thank you, I've been looking for this comment
Tbh I saw that coming like
‘Childhood trauma’ 👏 sexual abuse
*not* a piece of art it rarely is id guess beatings and alcoholism or drug abuse by parents are way more common
Yuh Yeet I guess my mind is just messed up.
I feel bad for her 😢
I know it's only a TV show, but I got goosebumps watching this. Somewhere, for someone this is their story. To imagine a father sexually abusing his own child? Makes me want to wish death penalty was a legal form of punishment all over the world.
I’ve watched this before but I need to mentally prepare for what’s gonna be said
I'm sorry but 3:00 XD. his face just made me laugh so much!
Sou do Brasil! E sou viciada nessa série, amo demais! #FuturaMedica😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Amiga, sabe qual episódio é esse
1:35 😂😂😂 I’m sorry can we just talk about how she said JEROME
I wish everyone would react like Dr. Reese when told that abuse happened
Aw I miss Dr. Reese 😢
Have to say this is not what I was expecting
This is more something out of Criminal Minds or
The Mentalist.

I NEED FULL EPISODES! I CARNT DO DIS
That’s why he didn’t read the book m. He remembers that night vividly he knows what he did
whan he said he never read it and she said "..wait you did!" I just knew....
We had to study that poem in grade 5 and we spent so much time trying to figure out and pronounce the words
I remember this episode
Man: did something to his daughter and storms out
Security: imma gonna pretend I didn't see that
i was not expecting that
That is like what wow
That person is sick and twisted nd he is not sorrowful for the way his daughter is it is his fault I feel sick
Wow.
Now I am questioning if something might have happened to drReese
I know it's just a show but still it reflects real life I mean what kind of sick I'll mannered man would do such a thing and he doesn't even feel wrong sitting there denying everything it makes me feel sick🤮and it's not like his wife was dead or anything that you would say he is nostalgic its so disgusting
This episode is so sad! But I wish I could watch the rest I WANT TO WATCHHHHHH
Same
It's on Netflix and they have the season and episode in the description
It’s always the nurse that cares about the children and childhood things, wow... she must have had a great childhood? ;w;
Tips to anyone in the uk: The whole Chicago series (pd, med and fire) is on the app sky go. I think it is available in other countries but I’m not sure
And this is why k love the character Sarah Reece
Man struggles of living in the UK when we dont have this type of shows rip is
Dr Reese for the win

*JUST READ THE DAMN BOOK JEROME.*
that- well that's an unexpected turn of events
Everyone has secrets
Who is back here after the new clip from this ep that chicago official upploaded today?
Ya gerome just listen
I have been trying to find this episod3 for ages for a phycolotucal study. It's so sad. It made me cry so much.
Addict WithAPen fuck does phycolotucal mean
At first I thought the mother was abusing her daughter motivated by her religious beliefs that a demon possessed her daughter. But then the show twisted it, honestly that girl needs to far away from her family. Even if it's also away from her mother too
ofcourse hes worth yelling at. i really hate this old doctor guy here. his character and morality is confusing
Augustus Ceasar Salarda He meant... She has to yell at the person that did this to HER. She's yelling at the wrong man.
I think also when you become emotionally attached to your patient you have to back away because you're then not thinking with your head xx
@@Tyler_Mills26 I believe otherwise. You can diagnose easier being intimate. Your patient also gets the attention they deserve then. You can't take the emotional side our of medicine otherwise you get patients like me who waited years for a diagnosis just because doctors literally doesn't care how your quality of life is outside of the consultation room.
@@andrakarsten226 oh god no I don't mean completely take the emotional side away but she was upset to the point of verbally abusing a man that's when you should walk away xx
@@Tyler_Mills26 I think she only reacted this way because she herself was abused. But I remember her going off the handle a few times in season 2 so... Maybe she's not cut out for psychiatry. I remember when Dr Charles first asked her to join his department I was like NOOOO! She did OKAY in the ER. But she isn't meant to work with patients. She should have stuck to pathology.
Remeber the book Room? That was based on a real story where a father had abused her daughter impregnated her she had lots of kids and they locked her up in the basement told everybody she was in a sect. And the mother kept this all a secret as well.
I feel so weird that I watch this.
I agree with it should be on Netflix
what did he mean by hes not the one that hurt you
The show been giving hint that the girl have been abused too (the female doctor)
@@elsefine4261 thats so sad sara reese is such a kind person in the show
