Hi Phil Just subscribed to your channel after seeing the tops and advice you and other channels put out.. Of witch I su subscribe to and thanks yo them all. I was impressed with the water system straight into the caravan. So decided to take the plung and purchase one... Now to say that its good is a under statement its better in my view. 1.no aqua roll 2. Weight of empty aqua roll 3.storage of been a premium 4.easy to store and put away Got to say connected to the caravan.. No lose of water its not dropped once. And it's fantastic to say. I know its not cheap.. But the lest weight I've got to carry the better all round. I have seen them on the market. But needed to seen it working. So all in all good product and good quality if I'm honest.
Hi Paul. thanks for your comment. We have been using ours for 4 years now and not had an issue with it. Top tip keep the rubber O rings lubricate with silicone. I try to showcase good products that everyone could benefit from. I am so pleased you are happy with the water system. many thanks Phil and thanks for subscribing.🙂👍
Hi Phil. Great video, I have used mine for a few trips now and to start I took my aquaroll just in case and as a backup but was so impressed I have stopped taking all the aquaroll gubbins saving space and weight. Your video is so spot on, it takes seconds to fit and just works.
Thanks Steve. I have to admit I didn't take the aquaroll one we first used it. I however was not that far from home so if anything did go wrong i could nip home. But my fears were not proven and it work really well and the water flow was so even. Made shower time better for me. Thanks for watching. Phil🙂👍
Thanks Keith & Michele. I could not do a film about this subject and not mention your top tip. Thanks Phil👍🙂 PS after all this is supposed to be a community👍. Thanks again Phil.🙂😉
Thanks Phil, that is a good piece of kit. I need to sort of my serviced pitch set up. I use the aquaroll and a cistern type connector which is a pain. Good demo. Thanks Graham
Hetty’s Motorhome Adventures Thanks Martin. I have say I do like the system. It saves time and when setting up on your own as do it really helps. Thanks again Phil 👍🙂
Thanks Phil, many thanks just what I needed to know. We will be picking up our first ever tourer in 2 or 3 weeks, it’s Swift Sprite Major 4SB dealer special very similar to your own. We can’t wait, hopefully the sites will open again in the near future.
Glad to help. Enjoy your lovely new van and make some happy memories. We are out in 4 weeks time. Ist trip will be a large filming weekend but after that it is holidays from there on in. Thanks Phil👍🙂
Great review Phil, a very useful product worth having ready for those serviced pitches, to be honest we've never been on a fully serviced pitch keep saying next time we'll try one, maybe next year. Best wishes Jon and Karen
lensman2online Hi Jon & Karen. We love service pitches we try and use them as much cost allows. This is ideal for them and reduces how much kit you need to take and saves weight. Thanks again Phil. 👍👍😀
Hi Phil what a good bit of kit this is I've never been on a fully service pitch yet as they cost a lot more money than a grass pitch hav to keep the cost down but never say never in the future .I hav a on board water water pump in my van so if I conect this kit to van would I hav to turn the water pump switch off as the pump is on the in side of van thanks .kev
Kev Andrews Hi Kev service pitch are not the cheapest but once in a while we splash out. You need your pump on this draws the water and helps regulate the flow. The pressure is even flow. Hope this helps. Thanks Phil👍👍
Just come back from a week in Shropshire, Whale pump stopped working after one day and Salop Leisure did not have the Whale EP1612 as a direct replacement so I purchased this kit instead. Over all I would say this is a fantastic piece of kit BUT BEWARE, the next morning I went into the bathroom and one of the jubilee clips was obviously slightly loose and couldn’t cope with the pressure increase and had completely flooded the bathroom. So whilst I would encourage people to buy this, just keep an eye on the jubilee clips and general pipe work to ensure that there are no leaks. This may explain why Whale advise you to turn the tap off before you leave the caravan for long periods of time.
Thanks Paul for your advice. Shame your experience was not a good one. Others is still working fine. I would contact Whale if I was you about this. I find that running the tap at the stand pipe at half open is more than enough pressure. I will add this to the description for other folks. Thanks Phil.
lost weekends caravan To be honest Phil, the issue was more related to the caravan than the Whale kit, the clip was in an awkward place to tighten up as well which made it worse, caravan has been back to the dealer and repaired under warranty, picked it up yesterday and all is good now. Like i said in original post, it’s a great bit of kit but it’s worth people keeping an eye on pipe joints for a few hours to make sure they aren’t weeping (mine was a bit more than a weep and completely flooded the bathroom overnight).
We’re going fully serviced and are going to use the whale water master through a truma system. Do we need to also turn on the caravan water pump? Many thanks Brian.
Hi Brian. Good question. You can use without the pump but I find the caravans water pressure to be a little low. More so when showering. I tend to leave the pump on. I hope this helps. Thanks Phil. 👍🙂
Like it , like it a lot , ideal adaptation for any van , don’t think it bothers me to much getting the water ......... yea I’m a good fibber !! But seriously great piece kit must get one 👍
Thanks G&Z. I think it is a great idea. When I use the aquaroll and valve system I can never get the valve to work properly. So this is a winner for me. Thanks again P&J👍🙂
Good Review Phil My only worry is failure of the connecting device and subsequent mains pressure water entering the van. Did this give you any cause for concern? Regards H
Hi Howard. The system regulates the pressure to 1.5 bar which the standard pressure for your van. I had no issues or concerns when using it. I did follow Whales recommendation and turned off the water at the stop tap when away from the van. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and your support. Phil👍🙂
Hi Paul. Not a Silly question at all. The water enters via the pipe system at a reduce pressure 15 PSI. Your on board pump then does the work for there on in. I hope this makes sense. Thanks Phil👍🙂
Hi Andy Good question. Your Caravan can only stand 15 PSI of water pressure. This device and the Truma version regulate the pressure going into the system. I hope this explains who it works more. Thanks Phil🙂👍
Hi, having used this to effectively replace my external pump and Aqua roll so no need for the external pump to be turned on, and we aren't using the inboard tank and pump we have no pumps turned on (external or internal) so have the mains supply which this adaptor regulates to 1.5 bar. I was a little confused as you said you also have the pump on? Are you using the inboard tank and pump in your video then as I see no need for any pump to be turned on in our system when using this mains adaptor. Thanks in advance.
Hi Dean. I still use the pump as they Shower pressure in my Van is weak without it. The draw of water to the van from the hose is great but without the pump on in the van it is weak mainly the hot water. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for watching Phil. 🙂👍
Hi, thinking of following your lead when we have a fully serviced pitch booked. From your experience would you recommend still carrying the aquaroll and waste master tanks, or saving the weight and space by leaving them at home. Cheers
Hi I have to say I never take either when on fully serviced pitch and my van thanks me for it. But you will need the aqua roll if you don't have a direct water feed like the whale one i reviewed. Thanks Phil🙂🙂
Hi Julia. If you are using the Watermaster system or the Truma version it needs to be left on. You should only turn it off if you are away from the Caravan for a length of time. This system is designed to be left on. It only works when the water level is low in the van and then it tops it open. I hope that has answered your question. Many Thanks Phil👍🙂
Hi Phil, another question mate, I am just reading up again on the Whale Watermaster and it mentions a Smartflo pump, does the Sprite have one of these? Thanks again Paul.
Daft motorhomer question here. If you have an internal fresh water as on most motorhomes and some caravans, can you leave this connected with the tap turned on? Or, do you have to switch the tap off when the tank is full?
Hi Bob. I would not recommend leaving it on if away from the van or motorhome. I take that the tanks you mention have their own shut off valve when full if so then this can remain switched on. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching Phil👍
Hi Brian. I have to honest we leave it on but turn the tap right down at night. We do this as we keep the hot water on otherwise the boiler would burn dry. I hope this helps. Phil👍🙂
@@lostweekendscaravan Hi Phil Thank you for your reply, I go on service pitches a lot and have always used an aquaroll with a float inside so will have to see, thanks again.
Hi Brian. We have been using the Whale system since we got it and have not had any issues with it. My Uncle has just bought one he was unsure at first. All you need to do is turn on the tap enough to fill the hose as it doesn't need a lot of water. If you get let me know how you get on. Phil.🙂
Great Review again Phil, I like the look of this kit, I use a ball cock in the aqua roll at mo but this looks better. Do you need pump switched on with it being on mains? whats the RRP on theses? Regards Martyn
Martyn Ward Hi Martyn they are really good the even water pressure is very impressive. They sell for about £60.00 at Dealers but i have seen them on Amazon and eBay for around £45.00. The ball cock doesn't work for me. I have of them and both are rubbish. Thanks again. Phil👍🙂
I Used This System For A Cpl Yrs Until The Whale Part Kept Popping Off The Truma Adapter As Water Turned On, So Back To Float & Aquaroll For Now. If It Were Cheap Enough I'd Buy A New One But £70!!
Hi Andy They are not cheap. I have been using it for 3 years now with no issues. I feel to get the best from this system is to turn on the water slightly enough to fill the hose and it works fine. Sorry you had a problem. Thanks Phil👍🙂

Does it used 12v to use pressure or it uses the pressure from tap? I am off grid and need to connect to tap. Thank you for the video
