Since I know I’m not destined to ever see Alaska with my own eyes, I really, truly appreciate your driving and scenery that you share. I love the many shades of green, grays and blues.
I love that you number the episodes. The drives add incredible value to your videos, I couldn't imagine why you would omit them ! It's great to see the property work coming along.
What a beautiful drive with all the mountains 🏔️ and waterfalls. I’m so grateful that you found out the issues with all the electrical wires. Glad you are getting all of that fixed. I love seeing the transformation of your homestead. Stay safe my friend. Praying that you are able to get the electrician out to your property quickly. 🤗💖🏔️🌳🌲
Good Sunday Morning Alone, Oh crud! So glad your on the ball 'electricity guy' caught all of the wiring situations outside! Hopefully someone can at least re-dig the lines and get them lower than 5 inches soon- Yikes! ..So thrilled for you that with some of those trees will be a able to put the equity back into jobs needed doing around your property- You're a smart cookie. And boy did your big equipment guy get some work done on your land!.. Thank you for taking us along on your drive. And so glad that you were able to find all of the treasures that you did at the stores. And of course, your generous follower's gifts as well. Til next time.. Love to you and Kenai
I love your trips and the opportunity to see the beautiful scenery! Thank you. Looking forward to seeing additional projects on your property. Great start!
Your place is going to be fantastic once the clearing is done. Another nice thing about pushing back the trees and brush is we can see animals approach before they are too close. I had a bear watching me water my garden the other day. He was just laying in the shade watching. Thankfully it was 70 ft away. Anyways, great job. Love the green jacket and strawberry outfit. 🇨🇦🌷
Hello Alone, you are getting a lot of work done on your place. It's looking good. I enjoyed the ride to Valdez, I really like it there. If a person wants to live in a small town, Valdez is a perfect place. Enjoyed those little shops. Thanks for sharing.
It sure looks better with that eyesore old foam yurt gone, investing in your landscaping during the summer months will make a huge impact on your property, and fixing the electrical issues will definetly be long term gain, good job Alone!
What a huge amount of work done . So satisfying , opens up your whole property gives you a good view from all sides of your cabin , To many trees in wrong spot , they were nearly growing between your toes 😀 The road journey Is really stunning. Waterfalls pass by💜. Poor Kenai was worried the dozer. Was taking you . Thanks for the wonderful video .
Hi Alone! I believe, by the look of your bird, it's a grouse or partridge, as we call them around the Midwest. This is the same bird that makes the drumming sound that sounds like a motor starting.
What a beautiful shot of those waterfalls! 🥰😍 I could sit next to a waterfall all day. I’m deaf and can’t hear it but my imagination is unlimited about the sound… It’s funny how we get what’s leftover of the bed after our fur babies decide just how much they are going to utilize of the bed… The property is looking amazing! It’s probably just me but I think clearing out all of that extra stuff and opening up your property enables you to see better and be safe from hidden threats…
Hi Alone! Theres only two other You Tubers weve gone back and watched from the beginning. Other You Tubers we found when they first started. Almost caught up with your journey!
Gosh! Wow and wow! Huge movement happening for you. Cried a bit as your trees came down. Our farm was an orchard so we are tree hungry. Not many trees now. You will miss the wind breaks but the new will be amazing to see. Just adored your drive vid. How amazing I can sit here in my little Australian winter and drool over your magnificent mountain vista! So pretty! Thank you for sharing❤
Nice landscaping upgrades, I must’ve missed your tour of that chicken coop in previous episodes. Wow that was something. It’s been years since I drove a bulldozer and I remember how fun it was. There’s so much power it’s amazing how much land they can move in one pass, I was a little jealous.
I love watching her too. She is soo amazing!!! I stumbled upon her early morning in the same own room I held built as a little girl. I was awake because my mom had just passed. And watching her build her dream log home reminded me of my roots. I have been here since the early 70s. I grew up on the Kenai Peninsula. We built 5 log homes for us, friends and family with only the aid of come along’s steel cables, ropes, horses, and three wheelers. Hello I could never go play until I peeled our house Log. Lol Anyways nobody could afford mortgages, then the oil market had tanked. My dad was a Welder out on the platform for 45 years. Back then he didn’t work for 4 years during this time because of the economy. So we built the log homes by true grit. We still hunt and fish this whole beautiful state. Lots of family still on the Kenai Peninsula too. My dad was a bush pilot and now my oldest son. And he’s also a commercial pilot too. But I/we owned properties all over this beautiful state, remote hunting & fishing cabins. Still fish the Kenai peninsula area my old stomping grounds. Love watching her she portrays AK so well. She inspires me to be better too. I takes true grit and a special person to do what she does. Big hugs.❤️🙌
Hi Alone great video as usual Your property is looking very good.I am glad you got your electrical in order that is very important. We are at the moment enveloped by smoke from forest fire very hard on my wife who suffers from copd.I really love the scenic drives you bring us on You look very fine behind the controls of that bull dozer,Until the next one stay safe bye from Canada.
Hi Weedeater! Glad you liked the video. I think the yard is going to be awesome as well. Just having line of sight has made a huge difference in the overall feel of the property. 🤗💛
So sweet of your followers to send you gift. It amazes me just how giving people can be sometimes its touching. It brought a smile to my ❤️ also you look stunning in the sunglasses
Love all the scenery on way to/from Valdez. Love all the little waterfalls. Good job on the contractor's work. Also, outfit adorable!! All the improvements made, make u r homestead very nice!! Stay healthy & safe, both U & Kenai! U R CO connection.
I worked for elections in my state and we even stressed to the candidates to call miss utility before they put their signs in the ground so that's very important. 👍🏽
Another great video by you and Kenai. 👍 Just amazing scenery of the rode trip🚗 to Valdez and In really enjoy the scenery. Lots of work going on around your cabin to clear the way for future projects. The contractor knock down one huge tree 🌳and should bring in some nice bucks or exchange for work. You're doing a good job with taking care of your property. 👍 All the channels and videos I watch from Alaska shows the beauty of the state.
Well, it is going to be 106 here in Central Texas today. Miserable. You can tell Texans are in Alaska, we’d be the ones parked on the side of the road playing in the glacier waterfalls. We are dozing our fence line, it is so satisfying! Only we are pushing prickly pear, mesquite, skunk bush, and bee brush, and big rocks. Love this video!
Greetings from Illinois! Thanks for bringing us along on your home and land renovation projects and your drives! I enjoy too how you display the gifts that people send to you. It's like watching a child opening a gift on Christmas morning and it's so fun seeing how much you enjoy what you receive! I love your new outfit also and the sunglasses are perfect!
Greetings from Sharps Chapel Tennessee😅😅. I just retired this year. 62 now. I've always wanted to move there after I retired. Not sure if I'll make it.
Such exciting work you're having done. Much safer clearing those fire hazard trees and preparing for your garden. I will remember to call Gopher One if I need to dig in my yar, too. Love all the fabrics your Mom sent. Glad to learn you are hiring an electrical contractor to fix, replace and bury those power lines and update your cabin's electrical. You are thriving up there.
I loved this video! I am a fan of your longer videos. So many things covered and I love that. I especially like going along on your drives and seeing the scenery! Looking forward to more summer videos. You and Kenai take care ❤️
Love watching all your projects. It's going to be so pretty. Love the tops you bought. Will you be able to cut the trees for firewood ? Can't wait till next week. Be blessed Alone.
Every night, I have to shake the crumbs out of the bed and sweep the floor. He is relentless, but I created this monster, so I only have myself to blame. Worth every crumb! 🤗💛
Oh, I love your scenery trips and you’re driving and especially that thrift shops in the antique stores. That’s my favorite! That must be wonderful there in Alaska. Also, so happy to see your recycling that’s the way to go we need to be buying more used beautiful things and why would anyone pay full price for clothing when there’s so much cool vintage thrift shop stuff my entire house is recycled from the Goodwill and thrift shops and it looks like the mid century 1970s. I also wear that same style of clothing and I just love it and I get tons of compliments. So nice to see you doing that too and your 1890s style that I love.
So funny! My mom put colored water in decanters to reflect the sunlight from the windows. Rumor around town was we had alcohol all over our house because the neighbor children associated decanters with hard alcohol...
Wow! Wry acary with the wires! We use to have birds fly into our windows all the time. Your birds reminded me of that. You’re amazing!- all that you do.
Are you going to begin quilting? I use to quilt alll the time. Let me know if you do because I can hook you up! Lol I’ll never use it all in my lifetime and it’s quilt shop fabric.
Annie I got to say I love riding with you on your rides, good to see things are moving on out. With the garden. If I had the money to get there. I would love to rent out your bunkhouse and fix it up. Then I can hang out with my Bigfoot Buddy. LOVES
Your doing great, I take care of my mother but can’t wait to join the off grid life, it’s pretty much all I think about these days, love watching your journey ❤
Great video. Enjoyable to watch. Living in Texas l am taking care of my 20 year old tornado shelter. $$$$$ cha ching ! However your power dilemma. Yikes. l know it's a lot off your mind getting it repaired. All l can think of is you spending your first winter in your cabin, and all the our repairs you have made! ........ You have done so much to your place! Wow
Hi Nannygoat! Glad you liked the video. Yes, once the electric is brought up to spec, I will be able to sleep better at night and not worry about it so much. Right now, every little shake I think about what the locator said. 😳 The cabin has changed a lot over the past year, and there is still so much to do! But in the end it will all be worth it. Slowly but surely it will get done. 😉💛
Yep it all takes time ....l moved to raw land. I thought l struck gold when my 200 foot gravel driveway was completed. I had a new utility pole installed and buried 3 feet. Cheers!
Love the Logo!!! You are amazing. So much to do and pull off. But if anyone can you can. May all your dreams come to fruition. Stay safe, as always good blessings.

Since I know I’m not destined to ever see Alaska with my own eyes, I really, truly appreciate your driving and

Yep it all takes time

All good. Ks here so you are my tour guide 😊
WOW those votive candle holder were absolutely beautiful!!!!! I wish I knew where she got them.
That’s right always call before you dig. They even tell us that in cities.
One of the problems living in these remote locations like I do too if there’s always so much nature to be contented with. I live in an old growth forest, and there’s always worry for that with trees, falling and fire potential now as well as tsunami landslide an earthquake makes me wonder why I am here, but it’s impossible to leave .
