The vehicle that you have is a Ford with a 3.5 Ecoboost with twin turbos and an intercooler. When switched to automatic the sensors send signals to the Engine Control Module. When it is switched to manual some of theses sensors are bypassed. The ECM has the ability to shut the car down but it does not completely turn the car off when certain sensors tell the ECM that something is wrong. That is referred to "Limp Mode" or "Limp Home Mode". This will also trigger a check engine light and it will also trigger a misfire code event that can be read with a diagnostic scan tool. Under extreme load and or hard acceleration it is quite possible that the ECM is receiving a signal from a sensor telling it to go into limp home mode. When in limp home mode the vehicle will not accelerate and it will only allow the engine to reach slow top speed. When you pull over and turn the car off the ECM resets and turns off the "limp home mode" allowing normal operation again. Driving the vehicle in "manual mode" bypasses the sensor that is sending a signal to the ECM so the vehicle does not go into limp home mode under extreme load and or hard acceleration. HIGH HUMIDITY (moisture in the form of condensation) is accumulating in the intake and is triggering the sensor to shut down the vehicle. It is not caused by a bad sensor and nothing is malfunctioning. The 3.5 engine is a relatively small displacement engine with turbos. You are "pushing the engineering envelope" when you have it under extreme hard load conditions. Atmospheric conditions are becoming a factor when doing so. Basically, there is nothing wrong with the vehicle except that it is reaching its design limitations. You probably do not have a serious problem after all. You simply need to switch to manual when it is loaded going up steep hills and under hard acceleration. That is why you have a manual switch so you can override or bypass the ECM. Most vehicle that go into limp home mode do not have any way to reset without being towed and going into the shop facing a huge repair bill. Your vehicle is engineered differently and you simply can turn the key off and your vehicle will reset. That is a great feature to have but it is not an indication that anything is actually mechanically wrong with it.
With losing power going uphill -- I. would. replace the Fuel Pump Relay . (. $40 -- $60. Plug. like fuse/ brain chip ) it controls the fuel pump. You may be getting less fuel than you need to the engine . OR if that fails have Fuel Pump Evaluated. Relays are cheap and can be pulled out and a new one pluged in. Easy Fast job.
We recently had to get our engine replaced. It is a 2017 Ford Edge. There was a TSB saying that certain eco boost engines were manufactured with faulty gaskets, causing coolant to leak into the cylinder. In short, the entire engine needed to be replaced, and of course, our warranty on the vehicle just expired. Just my thoughts, I truly hope it is not the case! Good luck and I hope you get some answers!
Well saturday and sunday i got bout 14" of snow so far. First snow n its a fair sized one!!!!!! Still coming down. N 11° at midnite sunday evening!!!!!
Hello my friend, another awesome video. I wish I had some advice about your vehicle 🚗. I’m clueless when it comes to that. Hopefully you will get some very helpful advice and answers to your car 🚗. Hi Kenai, you are a very patient dog who deserves a gold medal for helping alone put that safety vest 🦺 on you. Both of you stay safe and be careful. 🤗💖
My advice to you regarding your car which is the highest priority since you live remotely is to contact the manufacturer of the car and find the mechanical places they recommend.! Maybe there are none in Alaska who knows? Their certainly is a problem asking subscribers can help but finding manufacturers mechanics is better.!!!
My husband is a mechanic, it's not pcm, bad ignition coil, 100% certain. If you keep driving you'll damage catalytic converter, he's seen this a zillion times. Hope you find an honest mechanic to help you out. Far and few between these days, most are parts pushers. Take care!
Hey Alone, I'm a "recovering auto technician", having done it for 15 years, though I am a bit rusty, but here's my initial thoughts. What you're seeing with a flashing check engine light is what is called a "catalyst damaging misfire", which means that it is significant enough to cause damage to your catalytic converters if allowed to continue for too long. That is why the PCM immediately reduces power output when it is occurring. When the light is not flashing, it could mean that the problem is still there, but it is not as severe. The light will remain on, however, whether or not the misfire stops, for a certain number of "good trips" (a drive with no misfires occurring) or a certain number of "key cycles" without the problem recurring. With that being said, the issue may be happening every time you drive, or every third time you drive or something. As for the cause of the misfire, one thing I'd look at very closely is the coil packs. Ford used to (unsure if they still do) use what was referred to as a "multi-strike" coil pack, which actually fired the spark plugs more than once per firing cycle, which offered a more complete burn of the fuel each time the cylinders fired. What I discovered more than once was that the coils did not fire the spark plug every time they were supposed to, which would result in a slightly unsteady idle, and be more pronounced when under load. The best way to verify this is by analyzing the current draw on the primary side of the coil using a low amp current probe and a digital scope, and comparing all cylinders to establish a baseline. An important thing to note, is that after an extended time period of running with a misfire, the PCM will actually "learn" the behavior of the engine based on exhaust readings, and adjust the fuel delivery (called fuel trim) based on that information. As time goes on, the result becomes even more skewed to offset the continued exhaust gas readings. Essentially, when a cylinder(s) misfire, is shows the exhaust as being "rich" (too much fuel/unburnt fuel) so the PCM reduces fuel delivery. Over time, this continued reduction of fuel delivery could result in an overall "lean" condition for the whole engine, which can lead to other random misfires, especially during a heavy acceleration or heavy load condition. What this means is that the initial problem needs to be fixed, then the "fuel trim" (learned adjustment setting by the PCM) either needs to be completely reset, or the PCM has to re-learn the way the engine operates and correct the fuel delivery issue over time. Clearly I am not able to diagnose from 4,000 miles away, but that is my initial gut reaction based on what you've said. I certainly don't advocate throwing parts at it, hoping to fix the issue, but, since you already have the new coil pack, it would be a simple test to see if the issue goes away or not. Just remember, if you put it on, you own it, no returns or refunds. Of course, it's also possible that it could be another issue, but like I said that would be my first suspected item to look at. Feel free to reach out to me or email me if I can explain further, I know I included some technical mumbo-jumbo in there. Either way, best of luck with it! -Dusty
I had an older Ford Expedition and have always done my own maintenance. I work in electronics, electrical and mechanical all my life. I can tell you that you are probably right on this. my coils went out every time I opened the hood. the water would leak down and take out the coil but others also went out all the time. I drove around with a pile of them in the back. I would suggest swapping number 5 for another easy to get to cylinder and see if the problem moves. this way the new parts are not used yet and can be returned. Good Luck hope this does it for you alone. by the way reset the codes before testing after swap. P0305 will cause other codes to show up bank 1 is one side of motor and bank 2 is the other. had this also. don't change the coil to the other that is bad. multiple can go out at once. I got to the point of changing them all when it started having some go out.
I think both of you have solved her problems.how very nice 🥰 on a personal note for me I detest Fords I will not own them every time I have which is just a couple something always goes wrong they can't seem to be fixed..mom had 67 mustang from new.dad had f truck.. for me I say no thanks to fords😂🤣🤣
@@ssue4q I agree with you guys! I'll bet the inside of the catalytic converter broke off and plugs the exhaust. That piece bounces around in there and can't come out due to a screen at the exhaust end of the converter. ONCE THE CONVERTER WAS REMOVED AND PUNCHED OUT to test the vehicle it had removed the codes.
Water boils at room temperature in a vacuum. The reverse is true if you compress air. Water forms at the bottom of a compressor tank from humidity and from time to time, you have to drain the tank. A turbocharged engine, even with an inter-cooler sends a lot of condensation into the intake. Ford 3.5 EcoBoost goes into "limp mode" under hard acceleration because it is sucking too much water past the sensors. Turning the engine off and starting it again resets the engine controller and takes it out of the "limp mode".
I think we have the same safety harness for climbing the roofs. Poor Kenai and his harness. lol. But you got him off the ground with it and that is a good thing. He is not a small pupper. Great video Alone.
Have they checked the front cluster board? It’s the brains of your vehicle. It’s very common issue in these types of vehicles. I used to work as a service advisor at Alaska sales and service. But in my humble opinion, the whole front panel needs to be replaced possibly?! It definitely causes these issues, along with a slew of others!! Thanks again for another excellent video. Hugs to all.❤
@@robertclark2714 I appreciate your advice. Please I’m just trying to offer some advice. And I am no means a mechanic!!! lol But our own Ford truck did the same thing. Literally lost power going up hills. But back-and-forth from the our local ford dealership, yes it was the cluster board causing all kinds of issues. Hugs 🤗
Hey Good Day 😅! I subscribe to john in alaska & glad I did. He just lost a brother in arms & taking the week off. Thank you for the referral. The fox fire books are great. So much Appalachian history in them. There is a Fox Fire Museum in Mountain City Georgia. My parents lived there for 25 years!! Great place to visit. You've become pretty handy & doing great. I like the wood crib you built by the wood stove. Congrats. Have a great weekend!!!
Yes and no. The sensor is getting wet from condensation from the inter-cooler and causing the vehicle to go into the "limp home mode". Replacing the sensor will not fix the issue. Ford is getting a whole lot of performance from a very small displacement engine with "Eco-boost". One of the drawbacks is that a lot of condensation forms in the intake system and turning the car off and turning it back on allows the computer to reset and takes it out of the "limp mode".
Hi Alone, great cookbooks ole ones are the best ones. Thank you for the mention &link.❤️❤️ I hope you fix the car soon. I hope you never have a fire to have to use Kenai’s harness. Your butt don’t look big in your harness🤣🤣 stay safe, be happier today than yesterday always 😊 I love history too and have loads of books, a whole library room is my thing😀keep on reading. ❤Brun
It sounds like you're getting condensation in the intercooler and it's getting sucked into the intake, in turn causing the vehicle to go into "limp mode" when it is switched to AUTOMATIC but the sensors are bypassed when it is switched to MANUAL. That's why the check engine light comes on and you can't go anywhere until you shut it down and restart. This is something Ford addressed and supposedly fixed. It technically is an atmospheric condition (humidity) and it is not something that any shop can fix. It is like water forming on the outside of a glass of ice tea on a hot day. It is basically something you will have to live with and you probably will just want to leave it in manual for loads and hard acceleration. If you were driving it under the same conditions in a desert (no humidity) then this would never be an issue.
I love old cook books too. I was gifted one called the White House Cookbook, last copyrighted in 1899. The pages are so old they turned tannish brown. Hope your truck get fixed and stay safe.
My husband had a truck that did the same thing. It wound up being a control module in the transmission. When putting it in manual your overriding the control module. Since having it fixed he has had no issues.
Luv the larch/tamerack trees, Montana has a small grove of them, the Girard Grove, Seeley Lake, MT, with "Gus" the world's largest tamerack. 163' ft, 273" circumference, 1000 yrs old & survived 40 wildfires.
A whistle sound could be a vacuum leak on the intake manifold or lose spark plug or a vacuum line. Try to spot it with the hood up and the engine running. Just be careful not to get any hands near the fan or pulleys. Witch side of the engine is the whistle sounding from? Write down the OBD Codes, and look it up online. The loss of power is the CPU module going into cripple mode, it's a safeguard that's programmed into it. So it's not the CPU, it's just a vacuum leak somewhere I had mentioned earlier.
I absolutely loved the video!! It's so hilarious at the end with Kenai. You had me laughing and laughing. Hugs and kisses for Kenai. Take care and God Bless you and Kenai always.
While idling, spray a little carb cleaner around all vac lines and vac ports, if there a vac leak in that area you are spraying, the engine idle will change a little, most of the time increase, not foolproof but can be helpful sometimes,
Hi Alone, You mentioned your vehicle is a 2016 3.5 and it is twin turbo. There was an issue with that engine which was corrected for the 2017 on 3.5 Twin Turbo. That engine has Direct injection. The issue was that no fuel was not available to clean the Intake valves They would get covered with carbon and gunk not allowing them to seat, hence misfire and wear. In 2017 they corrected the problem by installing port injectors as well, which helps clean the intake valves. What you can do with your engine is have the valves cleaned and install a oil separator. The oil separator is an easy self install and easy to empty about every oil change. The oil separator is reasonably priced. And should be installed regardless if this is your issue or not. I forget the brand of the separator. People with the newer engines still install the separators for piece of mind but not really required. The oil separator prevents oil and other waste chemicals form entering your intake valves.
Twin Turbo on a moderately small displacement engine is quite an engineering accomplishment to mass produce for the general public. It seems that some of the original 3.5 high mileage engines needed a little bit more engineering before being mass produced and now the owners are having to suffer the $$$ consequences. It isn't practical for someone in remote Alaska to depend on the lack of dependability from a 2016 version of the 3.5 EcoBoost.
Great idea with Kenai’s harness 👍🏻 would you have a link to the brand.. really liked your cargo pants ( those are impossible to find ).. also that the dumb ink thing was left on, hopefully you were able to remove it.. The snow was beautiful
my ford explorer was doing that too. My check engine light was doing that and the read said the same yours did. I changed out the O2 sensors and it cleared the check engine light. I also use Chem-12 fuel additive every few months.
I love old cookbooks and I have many. Since I've been gluten and dairy free it's hard to find older recipes that are G and D free. Although good ole coconut macaroons are a great go to in the older recipes lol. Claude Davis has great old days information. Your gifts will come in handy if ever needed. Thank you to whoever sent them. Much love, take care and God Bless🥰
I have two F150’s. And a Jeep, and a 4Runner. I start with Google and research the forums to figure out the issue. Once I know what it is I search the repair procedure on TH-cam.
I'm so thankful to who got you the guide rope for hanging on when on the roof. I've always worried about you on that roof especially in the snow. I feel better. Prayers you get the vehicle figured out Alone.
Hi Alone!! It's been far too long since I've been online with any regularity and I'm so happy to see all the great things viewers send you. Just fantastic! I actually lol'd at Kenai's "help" at the end. Please give him belly scratches from me and take good care of yourself. x
Having lived in Alaska several times , I love watching you. I miss it everyday and night. I started at 6 weeks old and have been there atleast 5 times. My heart hurts with every moment I’m away.
If you drive west from Denver toward Grand Junction, in the fall, you’ll see a tons of Larch trees on the mountains. It always looks like Christmas to me - all green and gold. 😃
Dear Alone, You and Kenai🥰 will need some emergency practice sessions 🤣. Such a wonderful safety addition! Good luck with the truck and continue with full winter preps. 🤗
Try checking all the dip sticks and caps on fluids to make sure they are all closed and covered correctly. A tech left my husband's oil dip stick off once and he had similar problem. Btw I know nothing about cars, lol.
Hey wish and it’s still Beautiful up there good and keep going in time another painting 🖼 coming your way I love that country hope to get up there Alaska next year 👍🙏🌎🔥🖼
We are expecting anywhre from 1-9" of snow from 2 night thru Sat. night. Halloween coming, no shock here!! Been here 41 yrs typical, after 70 degrrees. U & Kenai got great gifts from Suscbrivers!! Yaayy!! Pleast take care, stay warm/healthy & safe. Love to U/Kenai. U R CO Connection!!
I have collected over the years the entire foxfire collection. I would find them at yard sales and old book stores 3 to 5 dollars a piece. These are the best books second to the Bible I have ever had.❤
I agree with you about taking it to the dealership. They will give you a true diagnosis and give you an estimate to repair it. My hubby is what they called back in the day a "backyard mechanic" lol. He always said for us to have a Chevy or GMC vehicle. Back in the day Fords always seemed to need repairs sooner than Chevys or GMCs. Nowadays with vehicles having more computerized components it's harder to diagnose issues and repair them. Good luck with your vehicle diagnosis. You will be and feel safer driving when you have it fixed. Lol on your out take with Kenai harness install. The look on his face is so funny. It's almost like he's rolling his doggy eyes while your putting it on. Alone you make my day🙌🥰
That harness for Kenai is the same one Seals and paratroopers use for the military dogs when jumping from planes. I hope you never have to do that though.
Great video. Hope the dealer can diagnose your vehicle and get it fixed for you. The harness for Kenai is such a great idea. Hope you never have to use it but great to have, as you stated! It could also help you lift him in the car maybe?
I do feel you about the check engine light. We have spent $3k on various repairs and tows because of a check engine that no one including the dealer can fix. So frustrating.
I'm curious about the book coauthored by Harriet Beecher Stowe. I know she wrote UNCLE TOMS CABIN in 1852 and I would check the copy write of that book you possess. It may be a First Edition and have some value.
I am not familiar with more modern cars with onboard computers, so unsure if this applies. Years (many) ago I had a used Toyota sedan that would behave similar. It took awhile for me to find a cracked vacuum hose that came off the distributor to engine to control TIMING of cylinder firing. It really messed car up at odd times. Stopping, sitting, starting back up helped. Not sure if this applies, but the timing of firing might be issue.I had to replace a vacuum hose and that solved it. Have mechanic Check out things related to timing.
The fall protection harness is one of the best things you have. It must be awful on the roof in the winter particularly. At least now it’s unlikely to be fatal.
Kenai said Mom I was in the right position at first but you are mom so I just went along with it… 😂 Love your videos. I’m especially drawn to the ones you do inside the cabin. They bring me back such sweet memories of my childhood. The outtakes are amazing!! 😂
Could you Replace your gas cap? If it's a vacuum issue like I had on a Chevy it could be as simple as that. I had slightly cross threaded my gas cap and removing and carefully replacing it properly solved my issue. Overtightened it can happen too. Smoothly put your gas cap on and only ONE click to avoid air gap and also too tight.
Watching this kind of late. But I do have to say I grew up driving manual shift and it's just second nature. It's never distracting to shift. I miss it so much. You lose a lot of control of your vehicle without it.
Wow the whole set of fox firebooks that's awesome. What a wonderful blessing. I really love that wardrobe cabinet behind you it's so beautiful. I've never seen yellow pine trees either. Looking forward to information that you have in this video on it. No to the watching the rest of the video.
We enjoy your videos so very much. I learn new things and enjoy watching your journey. You are delightful and interesting. Thank you for sharing with us! From Mississippi!! ❤
Much love to you both...so ecstatic about the safety gear!👍👍 The cookbook series is a wonderful addition ❤. This was a good vlog...gave me some ideas on things I need to think about when in the Backcountry
Hi Alone! Thanks for the video! Hopefully someone will be able to assist with your truck issues. Your package shows delivered to your post office. Online it says they will hold it thru 11/2. Hopefully they hold it a little longer than that. I love those Larch trees. I dont think I have ever seen one. Take care! 😊
Love Larch trees too and they are so beautiful when the leaves change colors in fall. I was able to video some of those scenery to relieve during the dark winter days.😊
Love your cookbook and home making collection! I cherish my mother's old (Canadian) Blue Ribbon publication as a go-to for the traditional recipes. I also have one called Buckskin Cookery, 1957, that includes British Columbia and First Nations recipes and methods. 👍😎🇨🇦❄❄❄❄❄.
Dear Alone, I truly love watching your videos and seeing your life adventures. It takes a strong person to do what you do and I am so proud of you!!! A Friend from Missouri, Marley
I'm going to start cooking everything from scratch soon, so I may look for a couple of those books. Thanks for the info!! Nearest fast food, big grocery chains, etc will be an hour away from us. 😊 You and Kenai are looking great, and I'll pray your truck gets fixed soon. ❤
Could very well be valves. Have a compression test done on it. Super easy and will tell you if it's a problem with them. Pretty common to have valve issues with the persistent misfire codes and the other stuff you have already replaced.
Wise decision to take the car to a dealership and I hope they can do the job! Love those type of books also! I admire you for living alone in Alaska! ❤
Fabulous items my friend. I also like old cookbooks and particularly natural remedy books. Its actually quite hard to get your hands on old natural remedy books. Love the construction guides as well.
Do research on disconnecting both battery cables. Hold together for 30 seconds, then reconnect to battery. This action should reset computer on vehicle. Kinda like powering of your phone and turning it back on. Default type stuff.
Hi Alone, I'll have to do a MINI run to Mt Vernon for you since you love George Washington so much! I hope you'll be able to get your truck issues sorted quickly and that it won't cost too much money!! Also, I see that the first (Real) snow finally arrived! ❄️☃️ Sorry, but I laughed so hard at you trying to get Kenai into that harness! 😆
I sure hope you figure out your vehicle soon. I have an expedition also and having problems with power of speeding up, mine is automatic only. Love the video of trying to put the harness on at the end 😂. Take you both 😊.

Try doing a hard reboot on your truck remove the positive battery cable for 48-72 hrs
Hugs to all.❤
I actually was a mechanic for Ford and I would offer a second opinion that it is not the "cluster board".
Hugs 🤗
I'm just sure you and I are kindred spirits. I, too, love history and collect rare cookbooks and historical recipes.
Alone, it's your throttle body sensor, I'm almost 100 percent sure, ihope this helps you, sending you lots of love❤
THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD LAUGH AT THE END....I enjoy all your videos...
my two favorite cook books are THE JOY OF COOKING and also a very old too betty crocker cookbook.
A book when by your self is grays Anatomy. It's a bet of back up to know how to take care of your self in a bad Scenario.
Most check engine lights are related to emission components, ie. egr valve, oxygen sensors, catalytic converter, etc.
Luv the larch/tamerack trees, Montana has a small grove of them, the Girard Grove, Seeley Lake, MT, with "Gus" the world's largest tamerack. 163' ft, 273" circumference, 1000 yrs old & survived 40 wildfires.
Replace the coil on Cylinder #5
It is going into limp mode, it could also be a module in the automatic transmission, throttle body may have an issue
Love Kenai's gift, he is so patient, bless him. ❤
I absolutely loved the video!! It's so hilarious at the end with Kenai. You had me laughing and laughing. Hugs and kisses for Kenai. Take care and God Bless you and Kenai always.
That was a nice gift of the harness for your dog whoever sent that:) and for youself and great collection of books
While idling, spray a little carb cleaner around all vac lines and vac ports, if there a vac leak in that area you are spraying, the engine idle will change a little, most of the time increase,
not foolproof but can be helpful sometimes,
I am so happy you got a harness for getting on the roof. You are a strong and brave woman.
Love love love dogs when you’re trying to do something with them!❤️🐾❤️
Yes, Coniferous trees that lose their needles, we call them Tamaracks here in Northern Michigan.
Check your sensors. My engine light was my sensors
Also that a ecoboost? If so the whistle is the twin turbos… try running 91 octane gas for a bit to see if your octane sensor is working properly
Dear Alone, You and Kenai🥰 will need some emergency practice sessions 🤣. Such a wonderful safety addition! Good luck with the truck and continue with full winter preps. 🤗
My hope is she makes a video for us if she tries out the harness for Kenai.
Try checking all the dip sticks and caps on fluids to make sure they are all closed and covered correctly. A tech left my husband's oil dip stick off once and he had similar problem. Btw I know nothing about cars, lol.
Hey wish and it’s still
Beautiful up there good and keep going in time another painting 🖼 coming your way I love that country hope to get up there Alaska next year 👍🙏🌎🔥🖼
My son had the same problem. After changing multiple parts it was the computer. But after changing the computer never happened again. Same vehicle.
He did reboot before changing it but nothing changed.
The dealership fixed it
We are expecting anywhre from 1-9" of snow from 2 night thru Sat.
I enjoyed watching you harness Kenai, but I thought “I hope she never has to do that under emergency circumstances “!!!
I have collected over the years the entire foxfire collection. I would find them at yard sales and old book stores 3 to 5 dollars a piece. These are the best books second to the Bible I have ever had.❤
They still publish quarterly issuesfrom the school.
@@brendawomack5380 Wow had no idea. Will look for them thank you
I agree with you about taking it to the dealership.
Lol, watching you put that harness on Kenai was the perfect start to my day! 🤣
Nice video!! We are expecting
Your are so knowledgeable!! I am amazed at the things you do and know! Love your out takes!!😜
The fall protection harness is one of the best things you have. It must be awful on the roof in the winter particularly. At least now it’s unlikely to be fatal.
Very good video. Cars are hard to find out what is wrong with them watch out for crooked people .good luck. Thank you much.
Kenai said Mom I was in the right position at first but you are mom so I just went along with it… 😂
Love your videos.
NOT a mechanic but had this happen when I was single. Was glad was only the gas cap. Your mention of vacuum jogged my memory of this.
Great video. Thanks for the Foxfire reminder. I need to add those to my library.
Stay safe and warm! ❤🙏
We enjoy your videos so very much.
I learn new things and enjoy watching your journey. You are delightful and interesting. Thank you for sharing with us! From Mississippi!! ❤
Ty. I have an Antique White House Cookbook that is so interesting.
Hi Alone a tamarack tree also loses its needles in the late fall at least up here in Quebec Canada they do
My issue was always the Co2 sensor
Would be nice if Ford would get wind of the car problems and fix it for you.
Dear Alone, please can we get more videos per week 🙏 ❤
I love old cookbooks too! Love your channel. Hope you can get your truck into the dealership soon for diagnosis
Love your cookbook and home making collection! I cherish my mother's old (Canadian) Blue Ribbon publication as a go-to for the traditional recipes. I also have one called Buckskin Cookery, 1957, that includes British Columbia and First Nations recipes and methods. 👍😎🇨🇦❄❄❄❄❄.
Check your gas cap!!
Dear Alone,
I truly love watching your videos and seeing your life adventures. It takes a strong person to do what you do and I am so proud of you!!!
A Friend from Missouri,
Marley
I'm going to start cooking everything from scratch soon, so I may look for a couple of those books. Thanks for the info!! Nearest fast food, big grocery chains, etc will be an hour away from us. 😊 You and Kenai are looking great, and I'll pray your truck gets fixed soon. ❤
The complete set of the Foxfire Books are worth a lot of money for the original set. I own the set and I love it.
Hi Alone it's good to see you 🥰 I'm commenting as I watch. 👍🥰
Could very well be valves. Have a compression test done on it. Super easy and will tell you if it's a problem with them. Pretty common to have valve issues with the persistent misfire codes and the other stuff you have already replaced.
You could not see his face but it was hilarious!
Wise decision to take the car to a dealership and I hope they can do the job! Love those type of books also! I admire you for living alone in Alaska! ❤
Lets hope it isnt the turbos, damn ecoboost engines were notorious for those blowing. Quite pricey too. Good luck and all the best.
Interesting video. Hope you get your car fixed. Stay safe this winter from a nice hot South Africa ❤
Be safe - take care
I love watching your videos I know you are a strong woman to live out on your own in wild Alaska.
Love your cook books ! Those are wonderful !🍃🍂🍁🥰🎃🍃🍂🍁
So nice to see you again, Alone!❤
No falling off the roof? Yippee, that makes me happy for you. Car sounds expensive, hope it isnt.
I sure hope you figure out your vehicle soon. I have an expedition also and having problems with power of speeding up, mine is automatic only. Love the video of trying to put the harness on at the end 😂. Take you both 😊.
