I used to live in Va. I've been truck camping since the 80's. You look like you've got a pretty good set up. With that snowstorm coming, tell us how that set up works for you. I did the work/ camp thing for a while. Get splash guards for your truck, it'll help keep it clean. It works, I know. I was north of RVA at the time. We had a blizzard coming & I got a used travel trailer & that was even better. Rode out 2 blizzards with that thing. Sold it 6mos. later. Nice vid. Thanks for sharing. I subscribed too.
Heck yeah. Thanks for the comment and suggestions. Ive been doing the truck thing for a while now too. Just started the video stuff. I did have some splash guards on there… took them off because they were scraping hard when I was off the main roads in the mountains. I got sider tires and tried to extend the tire wells a little. It almost looks better dirty haha. I think we are expecting a frosting over night to night. Crazy how the temp will drop from 60 to 29 ish overnight!

Thanks. Its worked out so well. I waited a couple years to finally buy that ez lift. So many years just cramped in the back camping haha. Its way more comfortable and practical. Best of both worlds 🤘🏼
Took em about 6 weeks to send it, before I got it. They sent the actuators first then the canvas. Actuators were on backorder. Also, the canvas is not insulated anymore. It used to be, but they did away with it. But it stays plenty warm in there, especially with a good sleeping set up. Just a side note.
Very true. Usually I will cup my hands around it to let the gas build up a little. It wont fire up on its own much anymore. The base is old and clogged a bit. Some days the gas pop is more than other haha. I may end up replacing the base at some point. I appreciate the comment. Glad you liked the video.
Good video. Nice camping setup. The EZ Lift looks like a fantastic option for extra headroom, I may have to consider that.

Nice camping setup! I'm planning on getting the Ez Lift for my 2021 Taco. How long did it take yours to come in after you ordered it?

If you start the Jetboil first without the pot attached on top and you’ll never have a gas pop again. Great video, enjoyed it.
