So let me get this straight. If I assault a police officer, or anyone for that matter, then I'm arrested, probably taken into custody and formally charged for the offence. Then at some point I appear in court where, if found guilty I am sentenced.
However, if a member of the police services assaults anyone then there is just a cosy little behind the doors chat and a laugh about it, after which it is all brushed under the carpet.

I think we need an overhaul of the so called professional standards department. A blatant breach of their codes of conduct and they still take months to investigate it. Even if their is video evidence. 😢

Another connoisseur audit from PTTP that ticks all the boxes. The unfriendly lady in the fashionable snow leopard shorts (1:40) was amusing when she threatens to 'get rid of you'. The PC at 6:50 was more clued up and dispersed the female PC who 'doesn't like being filmed' - perhaps getting a job as a public facing police constable in one of the worlds largest cities wasn't the best idea? I'm convinced PC Gadget at 9:30 was sponsored by, or paying homage to the defunct 'Stationery Box' (or Ryman). Don't ask PTTP to disappear - 13:18 😂. You have to love the true feelings of the police when one says good afternoon and then ridicules the auditor. Fair play to the two constables and Inspector who relayed the message that nothing would be done about the assault. Excellent work PTTP - what a pleasure to watch - many thanks.

"It's not proportionate to arrest him"
A man who does not identify himself as police, and not wearing any uniform or insignia to let people know he's police, commits an act of violence on a member of public without provocation or warning, and it's not proportionate to prevent him from doing it again?
How many people would he have to attack before it became proportionate to arrest him?
How many police officers could I attack before it becomes proportionate to arrest me?
It was considered "not proportionate" to investigate Wayne Couzens for the multiple complaints he had made against him, and didn't become "proportionat" until he'd actually killed someone.
The Inspector says that after investigating a complaint for misconduct, it "can lead to criminal action against an officer". If the misconduct investigation decides that what he did was fine, can it still be investigated criminally, or does their internal decision stop the process going any further?

How that woman with the blonde hair spoke to you was shocking. She was plain goading you and totally out of order, which is why racism exists. If she had come out with the right attitude, politely asking the questions and allowing you to answer, she would have realised before those officers came out that 1. You were in public 2. You were waiting for a reason 3. You are allowed to film, and 4. You had already been dealt with. Thank god they did come out when they did, but she then tried to carry it on. The way she came out with her arms crossed and the instant attitude was absolutely vile. They forget the core principles of policing in the UK. "To recognize always that the power of the police to fulfil their functions and duties is dependent on public approval of their existence, actions and behaviour, and on their ability to secure and maintain public respect."This might be a breach of security - filming outside a police station...
For me, these words would start to begin losing a job...no understanding why, where, and what the law states...and still harass...is mental
for all these officers not knowing that filming is allowed is truly madness....in this time of age..not have any grounds in law - and we still harass and threaten to not film...something legal OMG...

The first male officer who tried to give instructions to the camera man by saying that they have police vehicles entering this gate ought to return to his middle school physics teacher for further instruction about what happens when an object travelling at speed approaches an object that is stationary or only moving at a very slow pace such as an electrically driven gate. Neither object escapes without serious damage. As for the speed of any vehicle that has to cross the pedestrian area in front of a vehicle entrance the driver of such a vehicle should be aware that the pedestrians have the right of way on the footpath and should not be intimidated into speeding up their natural speed of walking. It remains the driver’s responsibility to avoid any collision with anyone using the footpath, or any other object or entity that has occasion to be traversing the area in question.

The Keystone Cops was a popular series of silent film comedies that showcased a hilariously inept cohort of policemen. These films were produced by the renowned filmmaker Mack Sennett under the auspices of his Keystone Film Company during the years spanning from 1912 to 1917. The comedic genius of these films lay in the absurd antics and slapstick humor that revolved around the bumbling behavior of these officers, who often found themselves in outrageously chaotic situations. As I continue to watch "Power To The Proletariat," I find myself increasingly struck by the parallels between this contemporary work and the antics of the Keystone Cops. The similarities in humor, character dynamics, and the portrayal of authority figures are becoming more apparent with each viewing, highlighting the timelessness of such comedic themes.
