Yeah, I give credit to the team behind the movie staying true to the franchise's roots, but as you said also creatively portraying the Pokémon we see in cool ways, like how the DJ at the Roundhouse has his Loudred act as beatboxes to work with the speakers.
jay_ Emerald - It seems to me that a Pokémon such as Loudred would have a lot of fun being challenged to reproduce sound on this level of volume and rhythm. I understand that it looks... strange... I never would have thought that Loudred would be able to hit such a wide range of audible frequencies. Perhaps this is something they were trained to do? whatever the case, props to the guys and gals that worked on this movie. Not once did I feel like the Pokémon were “thrown in”. they looked and felt absolutely real in most cases with serious personality, and that deserves recognition. I mean, look how happy they are in the moment lol.
This movie actually showed that Pokemon would fit into the real world believably. Joltik and other electric types on power lines, Loudred in clubs, Pokemon working as traffic wardens, police dogs and waiters as well as simple pets
But you know what they say, "Every up has a down." You have to think, there are no normal animals here, it's just Pokémon. They can understand you too. All I'm saying is, be careful with what you eat.
And then you have Gyarados... xD btw: it's funny how you guys would love to see pokemon in real live, even if the Film shows clearly how dangerous they can be. The Scene with Cubone is more dangerous as to attack an Wolf, Tiger, Lion, Rinos ect. in real life.
The funny thing is that this video game series were the hardest to make and they nailed it yet other video game that were much easier they screwed them up
Bruhhhh I've been looking for this scene. This was my favorite out of the entire movie. I was sorta tired when watching it but when this scene came out I got super hyped. Not even the fight scenes gotten that much attention from me.
LOUDRED USED FLAMETHROWER CUZ THOSE ARE SOME FIRE BEATS edit: If they had Whismur and Exploud, Whismur would provide some Fire Trap Beats, while Exploud would make Very loud Boom noises that would make the Roundhouse shake a bit
You could legit see the sound coming out of loudreds mouth imagine explode or whatever his evolutions name is beatboxed that would be awesome but also some peoples ears would get ruptured
Imagine a mafia boss screaming “CRITICAL HIT ADDITIONAL DAAAAAMAAAAAAAAGE” but I do really love how creatively this movie shows Pokémon in a real world environment like the loudred being used for music and the giant torterras. And the lip syncing is AMAZING like when they do the clicks with there tongue is amazing.
i am actually pretty sad that in this scene , they didnt have gengar fight a nidorino, just for the ultimate throwback to the genone opening scene for the gameboy games
Anon Charizard is the one Pokémon I always have in my party at all times. It’ll always be my favorite. I even played through Pokémon Shield with one since I had my friend trade me one (as a Charmander) right in the beginning of the game. 😬
Laserbeak316 oh yeah lol 😂 I was thinking about the Pokémon I choose u movie I think, I’m so stupid lol 😂 sry about that but it’s sorta similar to it I guess
This scene should have and could have been like 5minutes longer lol they should have shown the entire Gengar v Blastoise fight with the Loudreds bumpin in the background.
I absolutely loved how they portrayed the Pokemon in this movie, the storyline was ok but the way they incorporated realism into the Pokemon World was fantastic!! Example here being how they made the Loudred be the source of the music, i mean look at this here: 0:08 The way that Loudred moved its mouth really helped cement that the music was coming from it and it’s Loudred buddies One of my favourite movies of all time simply because of how real they made it seem Also, yes, I loved writing the Pokemon name “Loudred” It’s just a nifty little word *Loudred Loudred Loudred Loudred*
Bruhhh where did ya get all this from? You got the Mr. Mime interrogation scene? Probably my second favorite scene after the battle of Pikachu and Charizarda and all the roundhouse madness.
The directors of this movie really impressed me with how creatively they portrayed the Pokémon like Loudred and such in a real world environment.
now imagine Exploud and how hard it could drop that bass
@@JacketCK
The beat would drop so hard you'd get deaf, or dead.
Yeah, I give credit to the team behind the movie staying true to the franchise's roots, but as you said also creatively portraying the Pokémon we see in cool ways, like how the DJ at the Roundhouse has his Loudred act as beatboxes to work with the speakers.
Loudred should totally be able to beatbox like that in the pokemon game, MY THOUGHT!!!!!!@!
now if only all the other pokemons had more screentime.
like totodile who only got 4 SECONDS of screentime
This was my favorite scene in the movie because the bass on the movie theater's speakers make it e p i c
Omg same. This scene got me the most excited compared to any others, even the fight scenes.
Agreed. You haven't heard this in real quality until you hear it with theater speakers.
Same I saw this in Vmax cinema where in Vmax the sound is louder so the beat drop sounded more like an exploding volcano than a flash grenade
Y’all need to go to a rave! That’s DIPLO
I *LOVE* that they used Loudreds to beatbox. Its such a clever use of the Pokemon.
This scene was so overwhelming while watching for the first time
sharan chenna the whole movie was
@@kaidoppz7453 Not really. It was pretty calm in certain parts and even got pretty serious.
Exactly! It was the most hype I got through the entire movie. Not even the fight scenes made me so excited. When loudred came out I almost squealed
Yeah i dont know how to feel about them its just weird seeing them do that

I loved that about the film! X3
Imagine an entire city where only Pokémon lived.
But you know what they say, "Every up has a down." You have to think, there are no normal animals here, it's just Pokémon. They can understand you too. All I'm saying is, be careful with what you eat.
I love how the cops had Arcanines as police dogs. I mean, a Belgian Malinois is bad enough.
Imagine having a fucking police ARCANINE on your ass.. 😨
And then you have Gyarados... xD

I was losing my mind over this scene, my opinion on Loudred was neutral but these funky little dudes were SUPERB.
Such an innovative portrayal.
Gengar looks like something outta Ghostbusters lmao 👻💜
Well it is a ghost type
my spot
Yup that's right lol 😂
i wasn't sure if it was gengar or haunter.
@@andrewsmall6834 it's Gengar because if it was haunter he would have large hands floating with him
Luke The Ghost Killer 2515 yeah
Gengar looking like the sleep paralysis demon in my room at night.
At 0:14 The Loudreds are saying “gotta catch em all”
Oh shit they are!
Holy crap Loudred can speak?!
@@rashidacollins3741 any Pokemon can speak if they wanted to...I mean meowth learned how to talk, why shouldn't other mons?
That’s part of the song, they’re just beatboxing
I think theyre providing the beat not the full song
now i know how to use loudred
personal Google home / alexa
Who love this scene too and saw the movie
When I watched this movie I swear I was close to breaking down in happy tears
Shiny Pie same here. I never felt this way with any other movie.
This was one of my favourite scenes in the film.
The way the producers and directors portrayed the Pokemon in this movie was genius.

this scene is always so frickin awesome
Not gonna lie, I would totally wanna participate in those pokemon battles, even if they're illegal
They’re only illegal in Ryme City. While in the rest of the world, they’re completely legal as well as highly encouraged and endorsed.
@@Laserbeak316 Ah that makes sense
0:09 *BOOM BOM BOOMM* [mei eers hert]

This is what it feels like to beatbox for ur acapella group

I just love how they used the loudreds. So befitting.

wow i never realized how much loudred can drool
I gotta say. If this is what parties were really like I’d join.
Whismur: The party dj
Loudred: Concerts
Exploud: *New sonic superweapon*
The bass in the theater during the Roundhouse scene was amazing. I was not prepared for the intense eargasm.
Imagine bass cranked all the way up on this
You could legit see the sound coming out of loudreds mouth imagine explode or whatever his evolutions name is beatboxed that would be awesome but also some peoples ears would get ruptured
Watched this so many times.. Just so damn sick..! Would be awesome to see the creators make a full beatbox battle clip!
Yo Loudred! Drop that beat!
That gengar creeps me out lol
Then its doing its job right
Danimatic Sketch I always thought Gengar would look pretty creepy in real life.
This movie confirmed that suspicion.
Critical Hit! Additional DAMAGE!!!
I like if you look closely to the Pokémon watching the fight they’re dancing
Man all the Pokémon looks awesome in real life
Legit i have like loud ass speakers all over my wall at home so when this scene happend my whole house started rattling
Oh my god why do i find this so funny

Diplo just randomly the dj
Wait if loudred is the one make ing music what is Dj Diplo doing

Loudred always makes beats that are so sick.
That Gengar is nightmare fuel. As it should be
Somebody needs to animate those things beatboxing a whole song
Finally thank you
Why am I watching this scene so many times
Look at them! They're literally the speakers! 😆🔊
The MVP from the movie
What kind of bass is this
No treble
it's called trap. you can check out diplo, boombox cartel and trap city

1) The music scene should have been longer before the guy started to talk.
2) Want a sequel.
Watching this scene in theaters was amazing.
loudred is one my favorite funniest chunky character ever lol
Are just gonna ignore the fact that the gengar vs blastiose is a reference to the first ep of the original kalos league series
Scoopydoopy2 Kalos or Kanto?
Cuz the original Pokémon battle in Kanto was Gengar vs Nidorino.
