Thomas Donadei can't handle the speed, decision making, and thr combo system of GG, so they prefer the slowness and nostalgia of SF.

RaginDXDemon yea i never played this game but heard a lot about it. Its beautiful. Fighterz is too but this is crazy. And yea I've always liked 1v1 better than tag. I have wish DBFZ had that option

That's the whole point of FighterZ, it's a tag game. Try Blazblue instead. Or you could play FighterZ with just one character offline

Is there anyway to watch this with the game sound effects, but not these guys talking? Or even just mute the stuttering"choke me out mama" guy?
I'm new to guilty gear. Is this a good one to start with? And how about the combos? Is it easy?
Xrd (both SIGN and REV(REV2)) are more beginner friendly than previous games in the franchise.
Combos are rather easy dependig on the character.
You'll have a lot of fun with it.
That being said, I-no and Jam are characters with a very difficult playstyle
I-no need to be a bully to get a chance to deal damage, so need to stat always attacking and basically no defense
Jam is scencially the same because she needs to make an overextended combo to deal damage
Thats why the I-no always keeps attacking, he knows that the Jam will Run Wild if he stops the pressure
glen2003 I think it really depends on your history with Fighting games... If you're new to anime fighters, you're likely to have some difficulty. GG Xrd has great tutorials though, and you can find other materials online to help you.
If you think the game looks cool then play it, don't worry about whether it's beginner friendly or not, if you like the game it won't matter how "hard" it is.
This is a fine one to start with. The combos are great, but they are not easy. I feel like, personally, when the GG series moved from XX to Xrd, the input windows for everything got tighter when they really didn't need to. I once laughed at a friend who told me everything in Accent Core was too much about timing when I was trying to teach the game to him, because you had ridiculous amounts of time to buffer inputs. You don't any more, so I found that by being an intermediate player at best, moving from XX to Xrd I suddenly couldn't do some of my old combos that were still technically possible because I never had the timing nailed down to the correct frames on them.
That should indicate to you: this is a game where you have to like putting work into it. If you like working hard for your skill, this game is very rewarding. If you don't, you may not enjoy yourself all that much. The execution barrier can be high, but it's worth getting there. I-No in particular feels amazing to play when things are going right for you.

It's matches like this and Daru in general that makes me feel out of of everyone's "transfer" to Strive, I-No became one of the worst characters to watch in action with how brutally simplified she is
