The coolest thing about the first fight is that it can be broken down to a technical level despite being fantastical. At the first exchange he was trying to muscle him but at 2:29 batman realises that shredder is a striker and can basically box with him at a similar level, if not just above it. So he uses everything in his book, showing that he's a more well balanced fighter than Orochi and gains the upper hand using grapples and throws. Batman eventually gets to his main objective which was to disarm and make shredder less lethal. But fighting someone equal to his level actually gases him. Batman could've won this fight but he treated the shredder like he would have his normal enemies and not someone like Ra's al Ghul. He relied on his fear tactics, and severely underestimated shredder, believing he drove him to a corner and that shredder had no other weapons to fall back on. The only reason Batman didn't die was because he had the forethought to destroy Orochi's main weapon and shredder didn't want to test if batman had any other techniques or tricks. Had he known Batman was on his last leg or that he had nothing else to fill fall back on, shredder would've killed him. Shredder's caution saved bats life

Basically, neither of them fully understood each other for the fight to go down the way it did.
Batman gave shredder much of a challenge than the turtles combined. Heck batman managed to wear out shredder when he uses his foot clan magic
😂😂 *Bounces head off of floor*
Batman:Who you work for?
This was hilarious
