HEY FELLAS just have to give your old man the credit he deserves.I WISH I HAD HALF of the energy he does .Its inspiring!!thank you for a great show. and your hard work.your dads a rock.
I hope there is a Part 2 for this little machine. I had one in High School just before I joined the Army. That was over 30 years ago now. Memories of a disabled veteran, I guess. Find her a good home.
@@richpolecat6527 What is YOUR MAJOR malfunction, BOY??? That's ONE of MY brothers you're HOPEFULLY NOT crackin' wise about. Even tho he's Army, THIS MARINE STILL HAS HIS 6... If so, you mock what you don't understand. To what could be, your peril....
My dad had a Datsun that exact same color when we moved from West Texas to central. I would not be surprised if that was his truck. I’ll have to ask him about it. You guys are awesome and I love what you do. Keep at it!
this brought back some memories. My Dad bought a 1968 Datsun when I was born. He gave it to me when I was 16, my first vehicle, and of course I was young and dumb, added a Weber carb and ended up slinging a rod through the I think was a 1300, I bought a 510 with a 1600 for 75 bucks from a old lady and put that engine in it. I ended up selling it like alot of cars I wish I still had. Thanks for the memories, enjoy watching you guys rescue these old cars/trucks.
Nice to see the Datsun being rescued. Where ever that place was, you could have plenty of others to rescue. I would love to see the 50's Chevy rescued from there. Thank you for all of your work and videos.
Happy to see you guys working on a car again you guys make my day because I want to be a mechanic and now I have a job at a mechanic shop and I'm learning thanks to you guys I love turning wrenches yesterday I put in an engine and a 2015 suburban it was great well God bless you guys your boy Jack from Staten Island

BUT HARD WORK FOR US TH-camRS TO WATCH..AWSOME BIG RED TRUCK (CHEVY) YOU HAVE..GREAT SHOWS ON EARTH .. HASHEM BLESS YOU ,, WE NEED PART 2 THANKS, TODAH!!!
I had a 1974. Bought it brand new, $3,100 out the door. Joined the Air Force in 1976 and drove it till I got sent overseas in 1979. Would love to have another one like it just for old times sake. It was bright yellow with the "Lil hustler" stripes on it.
I'm in Central Texas, working on a '77 Datsun. Just got a carb for it from Oregon for $450 and a radiator for $600. Mine now starts and drives but I think I'm gonna drop the fuel tank and get it cleaned out 'cause it starts & runs but the next day it won't....fuel issue. I barely have any brakes. My reason for getting it up 'n running is to use it to teach kids how to drive a stick.
I love that you guys are fixing up old Datsuns. Making me want to work on my 1986 300zx. Then I remember the nightmare vacuum and electrical systems it has.
Dad Is a go getter, You Fella’s make a Great Team. A Portable Compressor and a little Rigging, maybe a snatch Block to give more Options and be a help pulling those Old Rigs out of the Woods. Appreciate you having us along, keep It Safe Out There Gentlemen
I can imagine that every once in a while, having a side by side that has four wheel drive would certainly come in handy to get into tight spots so y'all can hook up to the vehicle and pull it out to where y'all can get it to the trailer. I just pulled out a 87 Ford 250 4X4 extended cab with one and it was a life saver. Cool, old little DATSUN pee-cup truck. A friend had a brand new one in 76. Fun little thing.
This car has a powerful engine.Wish you could find cars like this in the jungle in our country .You are blessed people to have such nice cars planted in the bush. Like he originally wheel caps. following all the way from Francistown Botswana Southern Africa.
I used to have a 1985 Dodge Ram 50 best little truck ever don’t see them to much anymore where i from but Datsun was super fun little truck to drive around
Had a 73 Datsun Pickup in high school. Lowered in the front, jacked up in the back with slotted aluminum rims and wide tires on the rear. Whip antenna and Hawaiian curtains in the back window in the SFV. Haha
I've always loved these 620s, I also could be caught drooling over that gen 1 Ram 50/Mitsubishi Mighty Max in the beginning of this video, that would be wonderful to see restored!
Again I love this! I've owned 3 of the vehicles I've seen you guys working on, this exact year Datsun truck, one of the best little trucks I've ever owned! Had to replace the timing chain on it but other than that it was great! Candy apple blue with a little bit of a lowered stance, cool lookin little truck. My first two cars I ever owned were a 56 Chevy Apache, bought it when I was 14 from dish washin and lawn mowin money, wish I still had it, knew then what I know now sorta thing, and my second was the international scout, looked just like the one you guys worked on, tough as nails!
Bravo gentlemen - 2 chain saws and 2 air tanks!!! Now you are starting to think ahead deeper & save your valuable time. Having the proper tools is imperative for your line of work & this channel's more interesting content. Y'alls mechanical & artistic talent is first class. The only frustration i ever had was the seeming lack of tools & organizing the equipment necessary for each extraction/mechanical upfit. This is a great channel. Excellent production editing and camerawork. (thanks mainly to Christian i suppose!) Y'all keep doing what you are doing. !!
Always wanted a 620, but could never find one. Had two 720s at one point. A boring-looking '83, and "Hyakutake", named after the comet, an '84 4x4, with a lift kit (loved that truck!). Gotta say it again, though... love the cinematography and editing style of the channel. One of the most artistic I've seen.

Agreed. If we could have the location, I'd love to see if one of them which is fixable, be brought to canada for work done on it
Love these 521 series and 620 series Datsun trucks. Wish they would still be made today. Gas is over 5 dollars a gallon now these days.

That truck in a king cab was my first vehicle. It took me more places. What cool memories I have of it.
I had two of those little trucks, wish I had kept them. They are very simple and easy to work on and run like scalded dogs.
Puddins fab shop needs those front fenders, if the truck is to far gone. Was fun watchin ya'll dig it out of the forest
Those 2 Fords sitting there look nice too! At least they look like Fords
