Iv just sold my drz400sm it was a 58 plate and have 20k in the clock. It had the 3x3 mod, jetter kit and full FMF exhaust system. I bought it for £2800 about 4 years ago and I thought it was a steal of a price. And I should if for £2600 with all the mods. It still the only bike iv sold that I nearly have made what I bought it for.
I'm skeptical of older bikes with really low mileage.its too easy to unhook the speedometer and use your gps and have a 15 year old bike with 2,000 miles on it that's been around the world and back.Ive actually seen videos where the speedometer never moved the whole time.buy new and you don't have to worry about what the previous owner did.

I got a 07 vfr800 and there are pretty bombproof but main things are the stator has been known to die but I have never had a problem with mine! Check valve clearences have been done at 16k and the pair and flapper mod helps alot with fuelling and throttle response. Really simple to do if it hasn't been done, but if you find it's got a jerky throttle that's why!

Hi mate, seen in previous videos you had a sinnis apache, mines being weird at the moment. It will just cut out and wont start back up till I open the fuel tank(odd) but once done it fires back up? I ain't got a clue what it could be.
Can you ride a DRZ400 on a restricted A2? I did the maths and it seems to exceed the 0.2kw/kg but it's listed on the .gov website saying you can. Help.
Honestly this is very hard to answer as I am sure you have seen no one seems to be able to work out if it truly is on an A2. I think this is something i will have to get to the bottom of. But my best guess atm is no as you say P/w
In Italy the power to weight ratio is calculated considering the weight of a potential rider so even an xt600 is A2 compatile. Maybe check if it's the same in your country.
UK just sucks when we talks about dirt bikes (supermotos are pretty same for the road), actually sucks in general when we talk about motorcylces. That's what i learned in my 3 years been in this country caming from spain. Extremely poor culture of motorcycling, lacking A LOT to find older models and an insane amount of dodgy bikes even from the dealers, wich doesn't make any sense. Definitely is a shit country to buy and ride a bike

Rite Bike do a lot of touch-ups. I've bought a couple of bikes from them with no problems, but this is something I always look out for from them.
Best A2 license legal bikes under £3000 would be good!
You don't necessarily need to sign into groups on Facebook just search through Marketplace.

Rite bike are to be cautious of - they buy bikes in bulk for cheap.
Then turn them round for much more than their worth.
