I love the shape and strap length on the Iconic Small Vera. Mine in 'Mint Flowers' pattern should be delivered today. I'm excited, especially after watching this video plus your comparison of the Iconic and Iconic Small. Your videos are all so great!
Stephanie thanks so much! I’m so glad the videos are helpful! I’m actually expecting some Vera mail today too-it’s always a good day when that happens 😂. Let me know what you think of your bag when it comes.
@@verabradleybagoftheday Yes, it is! Love the bag. The lining feels a lot better than I expected. It's been a long time since I've had Vera anything, and I've read a lot of comments about declining quality. I don't see any issues yet though. I got a Jen Zip ID that will be here after Christmas in a matching pattern, too. I'm thinking about looking for a mini hipster for days when I want to carry light. I've never been a large bag person, so the small tote is the perfect "big bag" for me.
Stephanie I don’t have a problem with the current quality. Sure, there are differences between the current and vintage bags, but the company has to make changes to stay in business, so it’s understandable. Glad you’re liking your bag!
Great comparison! I myself feel like the small Vera is a bit too small as well so I’m hesitant to pick one up, but I did find a cute villager bag in yellow bird (it’s small but a bit larger than the small Vera) and think it’s great for daily use. Love that dragonfruit floral print though!
I can make the vintage villager work for me too. It’s got just a little more space and I like the shape better. Love yellow bird! Thanks so much for watching!
I love both styles. I don’t think the small tote is too small for you as far as appearance. It’s a small tote but I think of it as a medium to large size purse. You might have just requested a new style, a medium Vera Tote. I’m afraid I do need that Dragon Fly Floral.
Ruby508707 I have a couple more gift cards currently so I think I’ll be ordering more of it. Thanks for your take on how the size looks on me-it definitely helps to get a more objective opinion.
I found the small ic Vera too small and did not purchase it, not much storage capacity. The Hadley East West tote - I have it, small, but somehow it expands and has a lot of storage space. Glad you have so much work, but I missed your videos!
Miss Annette P Thanks so much! The Hadley definitely feels like it can expand a bit more than the Vera, which feels stiffer. I do like that side trim though.
I am curious. You are a knitter. Have you read any of the fictional knitting books by Debbie McComber? I am reading the Alaska series, just started. No knitters in this series, I believe, but there are many of her books about knitters, fictional characters. Just curious if you read any fiction that focuses on knitting.

This was a very helpful video! I have the small iconic but now I would like to try the east west tote!
Tonya Plans I’m so glad it was helpful! I really like the East West. It’s comfortable since it’s a little less structured.

Please forgive me if you already have a video but I am dying to see the carson east west.
Rebecca Huber I’m sorry, unfortunately I don’t have the Carson East West.

Miss Annette P no I haven’t ever heard of those books. I’ll have to check them out on Amazon.
